The food was just OK. They have a few bar stools to sit in stand and eat there but seems like a high majority of the orders are take out only. No public bathroom if you need to go while you stay and eat. Food is OK at best and service is average, at best. There are much better small places to enjoy Mexican food. i used to love this place. starting about 2 months ago things changed. i have noticed things getting smaller and smaller. i understand things are tough so i just asked for extra steak to compensate. didnt get it, then today i asked for double meat, it was less than the regular amount. i also asked to please cook it enough to melt the cheese. The older man that cooks is very rude, I believe he is the owner. I went in for some fresh guacomole and chips, I was ranged up by a nice young man that works there. Upon watching the older guy that was preparing my guac I noticed he was giving me guac that was already sitting in a bowl (uncovered) and turning a light brown. I proceeded to ask the cashier if I can get fresh guac, the gentleman told the cook and he spoke very rude in Spanish threw his hands up with a frown on his face. I asked for my money back and the cook started shooting me away. I will NEVER go back in this establishment ever again. We used to order here pretty frequently because the food is good and close by, but recently they stopped picking up the phone. I've seen this in a few other reviews also, saying the restaurant's mentality is that if people want the food, they will come in. Which normally would be true except that the 3 times I've come in in person, I had to wait almost 30 minutes for my order. So no, I dont want the food bad enough that I'll come in. If you dont pick up the phone regularly, dont advertise for pickup orders. read more

Overpriced and underwhelming! The burritos are ridiculously small. Moreover, the meat is precooked and sits in a pan until someone orders. It's not like they are that busy they should cook the meat to order. What little steak there was in my burrito ended up dry and flavorless. Because all they do is warm the steak quickly (already cooked, how long ago who knows) and the tortilla is quickly heated. my burrito was cold by the time I drove 5 minutes home. Loved this place when it first opened, decent food, fair priced,and TACOS close to home. But they have gone down hill since, they started skimping on the meat in the tacos and they are usually cold by time I get home (only two blocks away). I had ordered a steak burrito the last time I was there, my wife did too, both burritos had little to no meat at all in them, and we're instead stuffed with refried beans, I wanted to take them back but didn't want the trouble. The steak tacos were my favorite, but the al pastor is even better if you can handle even the slightest bit of heat. Still love the steak though, always lean and never dry. Been coming here for 3 years, and I never received cold tacos. Never received gastrointestinal distress. Never received bad service, but then again I'm usually not a PAB. They have the best quality meat out of any Mexican restaurant in my area. I love how authentic their tacos are. They have made their burritos bigger now. Their burritos used to be small but now they are good size. You might have a little longer wait , but it is well worth it. They also have great customer service. read more

The burritos and tacos are on the small side especially for the price, but in the suburbs this is the closest thing you have to city tacos. The steak is always good and hardly any grizzle. Their green sauce is amazing and has a nice kick to it. I just wish the portions where bigger and they had a larger menu to select from because it's pretty basic. read more

I am an AT&T outside worker. I travel to new parts of the joliet/plainfield/Lockport areas daily. Super taco is one of the only places I've returned to by choice. They indeed have super tacos. Very simple. Meat, onion, and cilantro. Very reasonable pricing and humorous workers. I would highly recommend trying Super Taco. read more
