Few things... living in this area now for 5yrs I have to say this is by FAR the best Mexican food I've had. And shout out to Yolanda.. (ask for her when u go in she's amazing and will definitely make you feel at home and take care of you). As far as ambiance... Yolanda needs a bigger space, they have very limited seating but the people coming in to pick up orders is crazy. To the owners: Y'all are missing out by not getting a bigger space and serving alcohol at this location. I had the birria torta.. a MUST TRY! Keep your chips warm and salsa the same.. ( loved the green, great flavor) read more

Taco Dále - Birria Torta De Birria dinner - Mexican Near Me - Romeoville, Illinois

Great food! However, it seems like every time I walk in the place the prices go up. $15+ for a super steak burrito?!? No thanks! You lost me to other Taco places near by with equally good food and lower prices. read more

I asked for a steak burrito and basically got a veggie burrito. Burritos have veggies but are mainly supposed to have meat. I recommended coming here if you don't want any meat in your food. Also, the pricing is ridiculously expensive. read more

Taco Dále - Asada Char-Broiled Steak Burrito - Mexican Near Me - Romeoville, Illinois

Horrible service. This is my second time trying them and both times they were so grouchy. On hope of that the tacos were dry and somehow not hot even though they just handed them to me. I rarely give bad reviews but this was deserved. read more

Our go to for Mexican food! Delicious and ur order has never been wrong. Wish the Romeoville location was like Bolingbrooks.

Taco Dále - Mexican Near Me - Romeoville, Illinois

Bad business! Went in to sit and eat as I have done many times in the past, but it was full. I asked the man at the counter if I could have some chips with my meal to go. (They give you chips and salsa when you eat there). He said he had to ask his manager and she said no! I've seen this woman every time I eat there! Unbelievable! I WILL NEVER BE BACK! I went to the new place La Colonia down the street and the food was awesome! Guess I found my new spot for Mexican food! read more

The parking can be problematic on weekends due to the location next to Aldi's on Weber. Small establishment with good food and decent service but DoorDash orders are being a priority on weekends, and it becomes a problem for people sitting in the booth. read more

Spent $40.00 for lunch of two tacos, two cokes, small guacamole, half order (6 nacho chips) nachos. Didn't make it home before I had to pull over and get sick. This place was never spectacular, but with these high prices and the quality of food. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

Love this place. Great quality food and the steak burritos never have any fat in them, which I love.

Takeout not so good. Enchiladas burned on the bottom. Appears they were warmed over instead of being made fresh. Very disappointed. read more

Though their food has always been a solid 4 stars (I came here regularly from my work for carry-out lunch, and would occasionally would meet my mother who lives nearby for dine-in), the last visit was a real disappointment. They gave me (and charged me for) a full order of Mexican Nachos when I clearly ordered half order. I even confirmed with the women wo took my order that there are 6 in a half order beforehand, but I think my question (inquiring about the difference between al pastor & carnitas) made her "forget" the size I wanted. Unfortunately for me, I didn't notice the price (or quantity) until I got back to the office and opened up the bag. Will pause them for a while. read more

Great food always fresh and staff is very friendly. Place is a little tight but a great spot

You want learn how to make sure I never come back? Ignore my allergy information! That's what Taco Dale did today on my first ever visit there. I placed an online order, and wrote on the order for a grilled chicken dinner, "no cheese on anything please! Dairy allergy." So whenI get home what do I find? Refried beans covered in cheese. Thankfully it was easy to spot. I don't return to places that ignore information that could cause me harm. Since they don't read, I won't return. read more

This place probably the best around this town. The owner very cool guy. The place is clean and the food is very good. Always have a hard time choosing what I want since there so much to order from. You can't go wrong with anything you order. The food has a good flavor recommend trying if around the area read more

The chicken soup is so good it'll make you slap your mama!

Just returned from there with my wife and three grandsons. My first time there. If anything stands out about this place above all the other taco establishments/chicken purveyors/burger joints/hot dog stands it lies in the personnel. You have to walk up to the counter to order your food and the "niceness" starts right there. The young girls taking food orders/serving the tables are the nicest and most courteous people you will find at any eating establishment. We must have come into contact with at least five employees and they were all outstanding. I was so impressed and it is so refreshing to be among people like that. Oh and the food was fine as well plus adjacent to them is an ice cream parlor which everyone enjoyed as well Now be sure to go there if you want to immerse yourself with fine people while filling your belly read more

We were in the area and it was late and the kids were hungry. This place looked promising so we checked it out. The place seems to be part of a local small chain - just a few tables. We ordered at the counter and the gals working there gave us a basket of chips with salsa. The food was all fantastic and portions were generous and prices reasonable. A week earlier I paid $6 for a bulgogi taco which was insane - tacos here were traditional and priced reasonably. We were able to make an additional taco from every two tacos. Guacamole was also awesome and the price was so reasonable compared to what we pay in downtown Chicago. Maybe for the first time we had guacamole leftovers. Service was also excellent - the two gals working the counter were fantastic. read more

This place is expensive for no reason. The food is not that good. My girlfriend comes in for 2 chicken tacos and the bill is $15!!! these tacos are not worth nearly that much read more

This was our first visit ever to any Taco Dale. I wanted a quick lunch. Wasn't expecting an actual restaurant. We ordered at the counter but were served salsa & chips at our table while waiting for our meal which was also served to us (we didn't have to go up to the counter to get it). There was no further interaction with a "waitress" but we left our dirty dishes on the table, they cleaned up. We ordered a combo meal & it was equal in price to a sandwich we bought at another restaurant. The food was good. We will go back now that we know what to expect and maybe try something different next time. read more

i found another one!!!!! the great well known taco diner!!!! we love this place. I really don't care what name they use just don't change the kitchen staff ! read more

Great tasting Birria tacos!! Especially the Birria Queso tacos. Everything is cooked fresh to order

Definitely surprised by this place. Tortillas were made well and tasted amazing. My wife had the Al pastor and ground beef and I had chicken breast tacos. All meats were seasoned beautifully and mouth watering. The beans and rice from my wife's taco dinner was very very good. Side note and something I noticed is that the cashier taking my order was short with me while being very very welcoming to Spanish speaking customers. However it was a very busy time and she had just gotten done with dealing with an ungrateful customer with a large order. After my order the waitresses were very nice and attentive. We will be back for sure. I'm glad we found this place in an area where people are ok with subpar Mexican restaurants. I do hope the cashier is more welcoming. read more

So the food isn't that bad but the fact that they charge you for horchata when you get a fountain drink is super messed up. I will say something next time because if they do that on every order, someone is 55 cents per drink on that! So make sure you check your receipt. BUT the food is ok, but just go a bit further down to Burritos Mi Terra... way better food in my opinion and get more for your money!!! read more

Food was ok. Honestly, it was good but I placed an online order and they messed up the whole order. Two burritos, both with the wrong toppings on it. But I can't say it was good when I had to scrape off all the wrong toppings. Also, ordered a Flan. And upon pick up, they informed they didn't have it and offered a coke that was half the price . So they pocketed an extra $2. Minor I know, and if any of my order was correct I wouldn't have cared. Just wasn't happy with my experience. read more

I've eaten here plenty of times. I enjoy the American nachos I think it's called, steak tacos, and churros.

My family absolutely love their chicken tacos. We have tried the steak. It's pretty good too, but because we're not steak eaters, I'm not sure if it's always good. However, the chicken tacos are hit every time. read more

Food was fresh, fast, and delicious. Guy art the counter was super friendly. I asked if I could leave a tip on the card. Clean place, tasty mexican food, friendly service. Everything you want! Excelente, Amigos!! read more

Ordered here tonight 10/2/20 and my order was allllll wrong. I wanted 3 steak taco dinners and ended up with 3 tacos. Like Really!!! I said dinners the total was 40 bucks smfh not sure about returning here in the future, I'm so disappointed.. read more

I will give them one star for their consistency.....TO GET EVERY ORDER UNDER THE GOD GREEN EARTH WRONG!! It's aggravating at this point! They have a "no refund" policy as well, so they don't refund you for the wrong order. Check your order before you leave! Also, if you have an allergy have your Epipen handy because they'll disregard that too. Officially done with this spot and will not be recommending to even my worse enemy. read more

Horrible and rude service I will never eat there again everything started when I place the order over the phone the guy that it took my order was rushing me the whole time while I was placing my order and when I finished placing with my order I told him I'm ready with my credit card number so you can take my payment over the phone and he was like well now it's going to take me longer because you have to tell me since in the beginning that you Paying over the phone.... then he put me on hold for a while then he got back to me and said next time when you order food and wanted to pay over the phone you have to saying it before placing the order ! ... Really dude??!! Then my husband pick up the order and he came with a small Lemonade drink, when I was very specific that I wanted Horchata - so I call back to the Restaurant and I spoke with the same guy that took my order and he was just rude again when I asked him that I received a Lemonade instead of Horchata he told me that they don't have Horchata right at the moment that my husband got the order - so I said well I don't want the Lemonade I paid for Horchata and he said No you paid for Lemonade - and I was no I'm not I was very clear in the beginning with my whole order.... I said can you replace it next time please and he started laughing and said to me if you really wanted Horchata you can just put some condensed milk and some cinnamon powder on a glass of water !!!! I was like what ????! You don't treat a customer like this - I'am very dissatisfied and very disappointed of this place NEVER AGAIN oh by the way they only put a few pieces of meat in my gordita - ‍‍ read more

My biggest regret about moving to Chicago is this place...and well Buchos on Rt 53. This place makes their meat really good and the sweet and salty flavors that come out of every dish is perfect. I've never had a Burrito quite like at Taco Diner. Staff here is friendly, for a fast-food place I'm used to the typical rude levels you get in Chicago during a work lunch-hour. They are always helpful and polite. The place is a little small and sometimes seating is a problem, but during the warm months they have outside seating. The mood is warm and they have a tv which is sometimes tuned into Novelas which is typical for a Mexican fast-food place. Whenever I visit the southwest suburbs, Taco Diner is on the top of my list...definitely 5/5. read more

Taco Dále - Steak Taco Dinner and a half order of Traditional Steak Nachos. It was delicious! - Mexican Near Me - Romeoville, Illinois

I order from taco dale atleast once a week (try to support small buisness) everytime I order they have missing items.I now send my daughter with a list of food I ordered. Tonight I ordered $103 worth of food and was missing 1 of my taco dinners (which was mine) everyone else eating their food. I called them about it they just said no I'm not missing it because they know they made it, then they hung up and blocked my #. she is basically calling me a liar saying she made it and knows she gave it to me, but she will make it this one time. I said so you think I drove back here to lie about my missing dinner to get an extra taco dinner, while the rest of the food is at home getting cold and she just stared at me bold/wide eyed in the face not speaking a word, and I said so you're calling me a liar.....silence......she then said no I'm not doing that. There are much better customer appreciated and better mexican food places in the area I'll give my money to instead. read more

Excellent fresh Mexican food with great service too! They have a great selection of sauces - red, green and salsa that are great with their homemade chips (which they serve while you wait for your food). Generous portions are their hallmark - as well as authentic tacos served with cilantro and onions (American style available too). I always get their guacamole which is chunky style and delicious. Girls that work here are very polite and helpful too. read more

I was so excited Taco Diner opened a new location closer to my house and I was not disappointed! Took both of my children there last night and it was just as good as their Boughton Rd location near my work. I had their steak tacos, my daughter had the kid's taco meal, and my son had their chicken quesadillas. Everything was fresh and tasty. (Just like their other location) Love their complimentary chips & salsa when you dine in. My 5-year old daughter was spooning their mild red salsa on her chips she liked it so much. Service was friendly and fast. read more
