How can anyone hate on this car wash???? First off they have three bay lines to pay and get thru quickly to the wash. I tried the "Super Protect" level and while sitting in the van and experiencing the whole thing I felt the machine did a good job spraying, washing, and drying. Then upon exiting I parked in one of the vacuum stalls in which they seemed to have 20+. Seriously there was always a spot/room for someone to park and vacuum. I must have spent an hour then vacuuming my van and used about a billion of their clean damp microfiber towels (provided in a clean bin) to wipe down inside and outside my car where there were some tough spots. Lastly I got a free air freshener which actually smelled very good like pins colada and a wet wipe that was huge!!! *I attached picture because honestly it was as big as my wheel* So 5 stars for this place! I recently had my card information stolen, so I've had to cancel most of my cards. Even so, I wanted to try out Superstar Car Wash by paying cash--this is my first car, and I really want to take the best care of her and find the right car wash. When I pulled up, I explained my situation and offered to pay cash while asking about signing up later once my cards were available. To my surprise, the gentleman helping me--Juan--offered me a free car wash. Earlier that same day, I had gone to two other car washes that turned me away completely, so this kindness truly meant a lot. Juan was incredibly polite and genuine. I felt absolutely no judgment, and he didn't even accept my cash. He could have easily taken it and moved on, but instead he chose generosity and integrity. After driving all over Oceanside trying to find a car wash, this moment honestly made my day. Be careful when you go thru this car wash. Some of their attendants do NOT pay attention and make sure the driver is in neutral. My elderly mother went through and did not have it in neutral and the car wash ended up causing her to rear end the car in front of her. They will not admit any fault for her insurance claim. She will not be taking her car here any longer. read more

Like so many things in this world, the price has gone up and the quality far down. I paid $21 for the mid tier wash and it spit me out faster than the $7 gas station car wash up the street and didn't clean off any of the bird poop or water spots on my hood. The staff members are nice, but there is no place to wait for a vacuum, so I had to drive out and back in. Since there still was a line for a vacuum, I parked next door to wait. On top of that, the vacuum was weak. Needs to be serviced or the canister emptied. Also, if you get the cheapest car wash, there is no brush action -- just soap! Therefore, I paid for the next level ($16+), but the middle rotating brush was broken, so my car was still dirty. On July 26 @ 12pm noon the employee stack our cars in too tight. Needless to say the car behind me hit into my truck. I've followed their company's protocol to get a copy of the surveillance video. As I try to submit my claims I continue to get a "Bad Gateway" error message. The company will not reach out to contact me except by email with the same direction to up loading my claims through a bunk link. No matter how many times I send them my report, as well as a report of the bad link they will not reach out. I do not recommend doing business with them if you can't even get a hold of anyone. And the workers on site can't do anything to help you. They keep deflecting you off to corporate who will not speak to you -just lame emails w/ no resolve except to a bad link. read more

DO NOT COME HERE! My vehicle got trapped on the tracks, causing the car behind me to run into the back of my vehicle. When we FINALLY got an employee out to help, before even asking if we were okay, he tried to put the blame on ME saying that I "didn't turn my car sensors off." I don't even HAVE sensors on my car, and if I did, there is NO signage telling the customer to do so. They offered absolutely no solution and tried to get my insurance involved while continuing to place blame on me. I am outraged, to say the very least. read more

Had to call my credit card company to stop payment - funny how I got an email from them saying my membership could not be charged but never allowing me to cancel - I tried calling them / emailing them AND canceling at the location. I'd give zero stars if I could. I was involved in a 3 car carwash caused accident on 24 May 25, 25 days ago, and Super Star Carwash (SSC) has yet to take any action and communicate with me as to the process or timeline. On 24 May 25, my car was going through the SSC at the 3528 College Blvd, Oceanside, CA location when the car in front of me stopped moving forward. While the vehicle in front of me was stopped, the carwash was still moving my vehicle forward and caused my vehicle to make contact with the first vehicle. The front of my car made contact with the rear of the vehicle that was stopped in front of me. Additionally, the vehicle to my rear made contact with my car multiple times for about 30 seconds before the carwash employees responded to the incident and turned off the carwash. The staff provided the three drivers a blank copy of the "Customer Service Report" and directed each of us fill out the "Customer Service Report". The staff member working with us stated that we should "not worry" because SSC would be responsible for the accident. Additionally, we were informed that SSC would contact us. There is no-one with whom you can speak or call. All communication is done via email, and the two email contacts that I've had (nearly 3 weeks since the accident) both essentially said the same thing that they are looking into the claim. However, they have provided absolutely no usable information as to what their process is and how and when I will get my car fixed. We have two memberships with Super Star Carwash and will be cancelling both. read more

The last three visits I have found that many of the machines are not working and the cars only half washed.. for a long time most of the vacuums weren't working. They were working today. I paused my membership for 2 months as I went vacation, before I paused it I was told by the people that work at this location to send an email so they can pause it for 3 month mandatory no charge except for 1 penny a month to hold the membership. Came back tried to resume and they told me that it will now go up to $37 a month from the $19.99 I was paying for 8 months. They said read the fine print will have to pay standard price!! I was not explained about this price change, what is the point in pausing the membership then so that it goes up??? Guess they don't care about their long term members. Well it turns out I went in three minutes before 8pm and about 15 seconds into vacuuming my car, they shut all the vacuums off. I kid you not, there were cars still going through the actual wash even though they had already turned them off. No heads up in advance or anything. I was charge 4 different charges for the same month of Aug and then denied access at the car war. I was also spoken to in a very condescending manner by customer service person Brisia Tanori and written off as if the issue was resolved. Bad idea! I will also be reporting the issue to the BBB. I will not pay for a service that I don't get to use and be spoken to as if I am an uneducated child!
