Like so many things in this world, the price has gone up and the quality far down. I paid $21 for the mid tier wash and it spit me out faster than the $7 gas station car wash up the street and didn't clean off any of the bird poop or water spots on my hood. Even so, I wanted to try out Superstar Car Wash by paying cash--this is my first car, and I really want to take the best care of her and find the right car wash. When I pulled up, I explained my situation and offered to pay cash while asking about signing up later once my cards were available. To my surprise, the gentleman helping me--Juan--offered me a free car wash. Needs to be serviced or the canister emptied. Also, if you get the cheapest car wash, there is no brush action -- just soap! Therefore, I paid for the next level ($16+), but the middle rotating brush was broken, so my car was still dirty. I'd give zero stars if I could. I was involved in a 3 car carwash caused accident on 24 May 25, 25 days ago, and Super Star Carwash (SSC) has yet to take any action and communicate with me as to the process or timeline. On 24 May 25, my car was going through the SSC at the 3528 College Blvd, Oceanside, CA location when the car in front of me stopped moving forward. While the vehicle in front of me was stopped, the carwash was still moving my vehicle forward and caused my vehicle to make contact with the first vehicle. The front of my car made contact with the rear of the vehicle that was stopped in front of me. Additionally, the vehicle to my rear made contact with my car multiple times for about 30 seconds before the carwash employees responded to the incident and turned off the carwash. The staff provided the three drivers a blank copy of the "Customer Service Report" and directed each of us fill out the "Customer Service Report". The staff member working with us stated that we should "not worry" because SSC would be responsible for the accident. Additionally, we were informed that SSC would contact us. There is no-one with whom you can speak or call. All communication is done via email, and the two email contacts that I've had (nearly 3 weeks since the accident) both essentially said the same thing that they are looking into the claim. However, they have provided absolutely no usable information as to what their process is and how and when I will get my car fixed. We have two memberships with Super Star Carwash and will be cancelling both. read more

Attendant sold me on a higher package and told me if I liked the wash I should leave a yelp review. Well it turns out I went in three minutes before 8pm and about 15 seconds into vacuuming my car, they shut all the vacuums off. I kid you not, there were cars still going through the actual wash even though they had already turned them off. No heads up in advance or anything. I paused my membership for 2 months as I went vacation, before I paused it I was told by the people that work at this location to send an email so they can pause it for 3 month mandatory no charge except for 1 penny a month to hold the membership. Came back tried to resume and they told me that it will now go up to $37 a month from the $19.99 I was paying for 8 months. They said read the fine print will have to pay standard price!! I was not explained about this price change, what is the point in pausing the membership then so that it goes up??? Guess they don't care about their long term members. If you have any reason to reach them, the only way you can do this is to send an email. They claim to get back to you within 3 days, which in my experience, is not true. There have been a plethora of cars damaged inside the car wash located on Oceanside Blvd., in Oceanside. Both issues with their mechanical chain and crammed cars rear ending each other. I am updating my review as of January 2025. I did cancel 3 of my cars here. I'm attempting to cancel a 4th car here and now the website is completely broken. I want my plan canceled immediately. It's very disgusting the business practices this company does. I am unable to cancel through the website and I am not able to get in contact with anybody They sign you up in 3 seconds but make it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel the account.
