The owner honed (pun intended) his knife sharpening skills from his father, and has carried on this craft after his father's passing. He is a true artist, and brought my Chicago Cutlery knives back to life. Most significantly the poultry shears are razor sharp now. I will return here twice a year to have my knives serviced. This is a great service! I have one of those electric knife sharpeners at home, but it does just an ok job. While I lived in Brookfield I used to bring my knives out to this old Italian guy, Tony, who walked around the neighborhood in the spring with a hand cart. He did a great job, but I needed someone closer to my new home. Fortunately I was able to find Super Sharp. You can either schedule an appointment or drop in during business hours. The location is out in a small industrial strip by a couple moving and logistics companies, so your GPS will be helpful. Once you find it it's easy to remember and there's plenty of parking. The prices to sharpen different things are fair. Knives are $5 each, I can't remember how much the shears were, and my chainsaw blade was like 7 or 8 bucks (it's a lot more if you bring the whole chainsaw in, so save yourself the extra expense and remove the chain yourself). He will sharpen pretty much anything with an edge, including gardening tools, lawnmower blades, barber shears, etc. He also sells very high quality barber/stylist shears and reconditioned commercial kitchen knives. He also repairs and maintains sewing machines. The owner/proprietor is very friendly and had my knives ready on the expected date. Please give this very useful local service your business. read more

I was at Jimmy John's today, their neighbor, and decided to stop in to see whether they could do an on-the-spot sharpening of my pocket knife. They did it and it only cost $3.00 More importantly, they did an excellent job. I was a little nervous b/c the knife it rather expensive (Benchmade Saibu) so when he handed it to me to inspect his work I was skeptical at first. I quickly found the blade to be perfectly sharp and without any imperfections. The level of pride they take in sharpening a blade was evident when he watched my reaction to see if I was pleased, I appreciated that. Great experience and very good value, too. This will be a semi-frequent stop for me when I'm having lunch next door and need something sharpened. read more
