I knew that I'd need to complete some paperwork, but was told to come in on Thursday to complete and if the system wasn't delayed, I could leave with my weapon. Processing was delayed, no problem. I call on Saturday 5 days after purchasing the weapon and was told that the paperwork was cleared, but I could not pick up my weapon for another 72 hours. After a back and forth with the guy on the phone about when I purchased the weapon and would be able to pick up, the owner confirms that I could pick up the weapon on the day I was calling. When I arrive to pick up the gun, I witnessed the most inefficient operating of a business that I've ever seen. After waiting for about 35 minutes for the guy working to fiddle around with the computer, make small talk with the customers, and answer the phones, I was finally assisted by the second guy who was working there. He gives me my weapon after checking the paperwork over with no receipt. Who sells a weapon to someone and doesn't give them proof of purchase? This guy fiddles around on the computer and then calls the owner who THINKS he may have mailed me a receipt despite having told me that he'd have one ready for me when i picked up. I've been here now, for ONE hour waiting for a gun that I purchased 8 days ago. I'll never do business here again. They are only getting two stars because the price is right.

My wife and I were shopping for a gift for an old neighbor and I saw an excellent deal on an automatic out the front pocket knife. We were met by Dean (owner) and his employee. This was the coolest gun store I've ever been to . The items for sale blends in with the military decor. Dean was very helpful and friendly we were so happy with the customer service and the shop that my wife who normally doesn't do gun stores wanted to buy a sweatshirt. Lots of older guns and newer guns as well as ammo and knives. Very good mix of gear. I recommend everyone come and see Dean and check this place out. Its so unique.

So I walk through his living room, down a flight of stairs and then to my amazement there's an entire gun store in his basement. It's a sight to see. My wife and I test fired the gun we purchased right off his back porch which was cool, made the purchase and then we were off on our way. I'd certainly recommend this guy. He didn't make my wife feel dumb about guns and his attention to detail to ensure that his customer had everything needed to make the purchase as easy as possible was impressive. He's got a passion for it. I'll be making the trip to buy all my firearms from him.

He took a personal call in front of me and ended with something along the lines of "I'm glad he's protecting the white race" When I asked about his comment, he said "I'm afraid for the condition of the white race". When I said I'd be taking my business elsewhere, he said, as if to make it not so bad "I Don't like muslims!" If you're of his ilk, then feel free to give him business. I will be going elsewhere. Oh, and his shop is disgusting and hasn't been cleaned in decades. Not an indicator of attention to detal.

Before shopping with them I would buy my suppressors at 219, they are very nice and helpful.. 219 would always give me a copy of my tax stamp before I left with my NFA items. I thought this was an industry standard. Anyway when I was picking up my suppressor I asked, "hey can I get a copy of the tax stamp?" The guy behind the counter says no, but if I call the ATF they can send one to me. He also told me I could print one out at home on my own printer... I asked again nicely and telling him I don't own a printer. Again, push back. No we don't do that here he says. Very nicely for the last time I ask and reminding him I don't own a printer. He takes one step over to his printer and makes me a copy that only took him 5 seconds to complete. I thanked him for his time and left with my item. Before leaving he told me I should stop at Walmart and pick up a printer so I don't "have this problem again"... since then I've been back once for warranty work, I asked them to send it out. I was charged a transfer fee. That seemed unnecessary because I wasn't transferring anything, it was an AR upper. Yes I understand I could have taken it to the post office instead but I wanted to give them another chance. This is the closest gun shop near my home and sadly I don't think I want to go back

They've done some…read moregunsmith work for me, and I've bought a few guns from them, and they supplied quality parts for my own efforts. But if you don't know what you're talking about before you go in, they don't really have a desire to help you out. Also, if you don't want to reek of cigarette smoke after shopping, don't go in here. I highly recommend them for gun-smith work, but nothing else. Better choice for the rest is Gregg's Guns & Ammo a few blocks north.
