It's evident from even her smallest techniques that she's very experienced - she found my natural part in seconds without a word from me, which for some reason is something stylists always seem to have trouble with in my experience. This was also the first time in years that I didn't go home and immediately wash my hair because I hated how the stylist had styled it. Overall, my impression was that Marie was very sweet, very reasonable, and very talented. She had lots of great advice on hair maintenance/coloring and clearly listened to what I was hoping to achieve with my style. The salon itself isn't luxurious, but it's clean and neat and functional. Better yet, I was able to get an appointment the same day I called, there was no wait when I arrived, and I was out the door in under an hour. I left with a flattering, chic, low-maintenance style that was exactly what I wanted. What more could I ask for?
