I wish I could give this company negative stars. Worst company. Charges me overweight on the bin but wont prove it. No ticket or print out. They told me the driver has 20 years experience and he just knows the weight. It seems they just try and take advantage of people. read more

A driver drove over my property and wrecked my grass. They said it is not their problem as the road is too narrow and if any I should look to the city and developer. End of story. If you see them in your neighbourhood, keep an eye on them. read more

Very disappointed in the customer service I received after renting a disposal bin. Apparently, we went overweight (which I was never informed of, nor shown proof of) and I received a $175 charge to my credit card three weeks after the bin had been picked up. When I called to ask what the charge was for and expressed my displeasure at my card being charged without authorization, someone in the finance dept told me the charges would be refunded. A week later, nothing. I followed up and the customer service person I was dealing with told me there was nothing she could do as I didn't have an email confirming the refund would be made. I explained that I called and spoke to someone (even sent a screenshot of the phone call showing time, date and duration of call). They implied I was lying and refused to refund me the money, even though someone else in the company said they would. Not impressed. read more

I have same experience with Ryan M. Engaging with Super Save Disposal will give you bunch of headaches. When it comes to termination, the friendly sales rep will suddenly change to a mean tone and ask you to just fax over termination letter. I have double checked with her if I need to send the letter by mail but she confirmed me saying "just fax the letter". After that, there will be no responds from the company and when you try to call back to seek for further advice and termination date, they will pass your call all round the company and finally ended up to a person who never answer calls and reply you. It will drag on and communication become impossible until I get so frustrated and say that I will report them to Consumer Protection BC. After that, someone finally replied (after weeks of ignoring my calls and emails). However, they claim that they require a registered mail for the termination letter, by doing this "dragging on" process they will still continue to charge you as they claimed that no notice was received. There are plenty of haulers in BC and I strongly recommend that consumers will opt for other company who is professional and willing to help you all the way till the termination process. read more

Stay Away. Biggest mistake we ever made. We signed on with them in May of 2006. Who ever looks at those contracts after that. In January 2012, I contacted them to ask them to remove their bins as we no longer needed them. Our landlord started supplying us bins so we did not need them anymore. They said we had a contract and could not cancel out. We asked for a copy for months and they promised to send it to us but we never got anything. Before we knew it, we received a few invoices for early termination for about 40 months at full pop. Almost $10,000 for garbage pick up. Next thing I know is In around November 2012, we get a call from a CBV collection agency demanding payment. We ask them for a copy of the contract and invoices. March 13, 2013, we get an email from the collection company with a bunch of invoices and a copy of a contract that looks like it was signed by someone who has not worked with the company for over 3 1/2 years. If you look at the fine print, it does say that the contract is for 5 years and automatically renewed for 5 more years at the termination of the first 5 years. I'm not sure this is even legal. I can't believe it is legal to automatically renew a garbage contract for 5 years without needing anything else. They are scam artists. Stay away from them. It is totally unfair business practices. I will fight them tooth and nail on this. You can contact me at bruno@progressivedistribution.com if you want further updates. read more

After using them for a year...all l can say is disappointed. Unreasonable, expensive, rude and their drivers need my whole parking lot to empty my recycle bin for some reason. Please this is a warning to look elsewhere before signing their unreasonable contract that the fine print locks you in for a very unreasonable term. There are much less expensive and more customer service oriented companies out there... read more

Do not use this company. I have used them for their bins and fences in the past. They mainly hire inexperienced people who only work about 1 - 2 months, before terminating their employment. They never picked up the garbage as often as the contract required and would never answer nor return my phone calls. Worst experience ever with such companies. Not surprising they do illegal practices. http://www.biv.com/article/20140121/BIV0107/140129979/-1/BIV/super-save-disposal-ordered-to-pay-145000-fine read more

I recently contacted Super-Save for a home renovation project in need of a bin and some fence. I had no idea what size of bin or how much fence to get as this is far from my area of expertise... After calling in I cannot say enough about the level of customer service I received! Everyone I came in contact with was so friendly, and knowledgeable. I placed my order feeling great as the price was much cheaper than all the other companies I called, and the level of service was stellar! The drivers for pick up and drop off we're fantastic as well. They dropped off and picked up everything on schedule and were super courteous to my family as well as our neighbours. I will definitely use them again, and recommend them to all! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would as this company does not deserve a single star. We used Super Save for our portable washroom facility for our farm workers this year. We had such a bad experience last year that we did not want to rent from them again this year, but unfortunately they were the only company with availability. Prior to renting, we let them know of the terrible experience last year and hoped for a better one. They literally do not come to clean the facility. We are supposed to have cleanings once a week (we pay for this) and I have to schedule time to chase them down to have it done. On many occasions, we have watched them go to our neighbours farm to clean their facility but skip us (we have the same cleaning day). I have also called on many occasions to make sure they know that there are multiple farms on our road that have a facility just in case there was some kind of confusion. They have also come to do the cleaning and half-ass it (neglecting the hand washing station, not adding soap, paper towels, etc.). I will never use this company again. Do not use them. Book more in advance and use a company like Go-to-Go or anyone BUT this company. read more

We have used Super Save in the past for our business. We had a very nice rep when we firsted signed up and service was great....UNTIL it came time to cancel. This is our experience: After more than a year of using their bins (and a couple reps later) we asked for a small little paper toter for recycles and then signed appropriate paperwork to have it added to our bill. In fine print it is a 1 year contract that the salesperson never explained or pointed out. So we paid just under $100 a few months later for early termination when we decided to stop the paper service. Whatever. It was deemed our fault for not reading the fine print and the salesperson was no longer there so they said we had to pay. The toter was a small addition to the huge cardboard and garbage bins we use from SuperSave at our warehouse. This past summer we had found a new warehouse so we decided to move out of the old one. We called to cancel Super Save several times before they sent out a rep to let us officially sign the cancellation. Two months later we were still getting bills. So we called and left messages and called more until after numerous attempts we were able to talk to our "rep". They said that we had signed onto a brand new 5 year contract (although it was cancellation paperwork we signed). "We will look into this and talk to your rep about fixing this" is what they said kept saying. It has now been 4 months and we keep getting bills. We keep calling and keep getting forwarded to our rep which goes into their voice mailbox. I would stay away from this company due to past experiences. Prices were decent at the start, then ended up about average. Service was decent as well and quick for them to pickup extra loaded bins when we got busy. Trying to talk to a rep or trying to cancel is absolutely ridiculous and the reason why I will never do business with them again. read more

This company has absolutely no customer service and basically they rely on an airtight contract to lock you in for 5 years and if it is impossible to carry on with the service they dont give a damn just give them their money. They will take you to court to make sure you pay even if they send the bins out elsewhere on the same day and will not settle on anything even if you have genuine extenuating circumstances. I would not recommend this company and i would actually stay away from their services. In this day and age when customers matter for these people customers dont matter only that they sign a contract so they can go after them for the money. Their basic question once you ask them to remove bins is " so which competition are you going with?" Seriously ??? If they were doing a great job then it wouldnt get to that point. read more

This is the worst company I've ever dealt with! Not only did they drop a bin on my cat and killed it but they didn't even bother tell me about it even though the driver knew. During the time I used their services they never ever could get my account straight. When I quit using them and asked for a final invoice - they sent it - I paid it - got a receipt figured it was over. Two years later I find out they added on an addition $297 which they never bothered to send me an invoice on and I didn't know anything about it until I got a call from collections. I then paid the bill - got a receipt - they still didn't inform their collection agency and I am still getting calls despite the fact that I have a receipt saying paid in full. When I call Michelle in their accounts receivable department she essentially said too bad for you. Terrible service when we used them, terrible accounting department!!! Go with any of the other guys - you'll be much happier. read more

After two weeks of calls transferred to voice mails, disdain oozing in voices, no return calls from messages, absolutely no customer service.... all for the honor of being one of their customers? I think not read more

worst customer service I have ever experienced. They take forever to call back and that's only after calling 10 times and leaving 10 messages. They do not care about their customers and only care about locking them in a contract then they just forget about them! read more

My advice would be to avoid doing business with this company. Their contracts are for 5 years and if you do not cancel in the prescribed manner, you are on the hook for another 5 years. With me, they tried to increase charges, and threatened us with extortionate claims that have proved to be unenforceable in a recent BC court judgement against them. They rarely return calls and their service is unreliable. Save yourself a lot of heartache and money and choose another contractor. read more

If there was 1/2 star, I would definitely rate this company 1/2 star. First off, this company is a BIG MESS of a company. Many times, I would get a "I don't know", "Let me transfer you" and it would just lead to leaving a message. I have had many missed pickup dates and they wouldn't follow up on it until I call them and demand a credit back. Many missed pickups were due to our locked gate which I don't understand why it's a problem because I personally handed them our key to the gate, which I would have to call back to the company and ask them why it was missed each time? Everytime I would get a I don't know why it was missed response. It's infuriating because it's not the first time I have called to complain. Also for billing issues, I have been overbilled many times and everytime, I'd have to call back and get through to each appropriate department to figure it out! I have written an email complaint to customer service and they replied they would handle it, and 3 months later, I have not heard back at all. Their reps aren't all that friendly either, when I asked many questions regarding to my account, I can hear an exasperated breathe on the line. AVOID THIS COMPANY if you can!! They are unprofessional and very unreliable. read more
