The Cuban sandwich was perfectly pressed and packed with flavor, and the fried pork with onions was tender, seasoned perfectly, and absolutely delicious alongside the yellow rice and black beans. Every bite tasted homemade and authentic. The atmosphere made the experience even better. The walls were filled with quirky, fun artwork, vintage Cuban décor, and old antique signs that gave the restaurant so much character and charm. You could tell a lot of love and personality went into creating the space. The staff and owner were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. They are hidden on the corner of 540A and Bartow road, behind a gas station in a strip mall. The epitome of lowkey, but you are high key missing out if you don't try them! Their tea bombs are literally to die for. There are a couple dozen flavor combos to choose from and every single one sounds great. They know how to reign in the flavor without overdoing it, yet it still packs a punch. That can actually be hard to do with these teas. Also- it's not an herbal tea like you think, they are fruity drinks that are wayyyy better. And these will get you jacked up! They have the Herbalife "liftoff" packs in them, which are loaded with vitamin B's and give you a crazy shock of healthy energy. So if you're feeling tired or low energy, these are thee perfect wake up drink. You can get some fun protein shakes too- I really enjoyed the Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavor I tried. Along the counter they sell some other small things like car scenters, jewelry and scrunchies. I would highly, highly recommend the Gummy Bear team bomb here. All of them are good but this was by far the standout. Come enjoy and support a cute locally-owned business! They are the bomb!!
