You can buy a 12-13 pound roast and then cut it up into smaller pieces. This works well for those who want to buy in bulk and makes for a great slow cooker pot roast. The other item I'll get is the full tenderloin. This is a big cash outlay, but makes for about 8 filet steaks once you process it. This then results in about a $5-6 filet. Grill that up with a few sides and a glass of wine and you have a first class meal for about $10. The store's business model is to charge you what it costs them plus $10%. I don't know if they actually sell at cost plus 10% but probably do. Just keep this in mind because when you get to the register, everything costs about 13-4% more, the 10% for the store and the rest is sales tax. When you walk in, you will get the feeling that this is a no frills store. It isn't some place where I really want to spend time browsing so I'm mostly in and out. The good deal on meat makes up for the lack of glamour.

Unlike the Walmart neighborhood market, I believe this super center's employees are not required to use the 10 foot rule either. The 10 foot rule requires all employees to smile and greet customers that are within ten feet of them. I don't believe this is asking for too much considering it's done In other stores. So I tend to greet first and only about half of the employees will actually say hello and smile back, others will look at me and keep walking.
