He is extremely detailed, very through checking everything in the home. He was there a little bit before the scheduled time and was able to give us information on what he was going to do and why each step was important. He would even show us things to watch for and give helpful tips for how to keep our house in good shape even after buying it. I would 100/10 recommend him for anyone looking to get their home inspection done. There was a wait to get scheduled with him, but it is absolutely worth it, so just make sure to try and book in advance.

I also asked about how the report would come and how long. Person via text wouldnt provide that information, just told me good luck. I think its poor customer service to hide pricing, that plays a factor. If it was a value, than it may make sense to hold off on the date i was seeking in comparison to others. Told my realtor as well not to recommend them. Dont know if they do good work, and still dont know the price.

Using his service has saved me TENS of thousands of dollars and he was able to locate issues that prior inspectors had missed or ignored. I have used his service recently to inspect a $700,000 home I had under contract in Winter Park. Michael was able to identify past and present leaks in the cast iron piping which would have cost me a small fortune to replace as well as a major excavation project. He was also able to identify many areas of wood rot and multiple other repairs which would have been a to be completed in the near future., Including areas of draining from past leaks and evidence that the leaks may have been covered up by the seller. As such, I was able to cancel the sale and save myself an enourmous headache. When I found a new property to purchase, I did use Michael's service again . This property was previously under contract . Although it was previously inspected, he was able to identify issues at this property that the previous inspector had missed. Chris arrived ahead of schedule after checking my availability,he was professional as well as personable. Pro Vue was one of several inspection services recommended by our realtor. They arrived on time,…read moreappeared professional, complete with a Ford Transit Van full of logos and certification placards. Spending the better part of 3hrs inspecting our new home. At the conclusion, Mark sat down with both listing agent, my realtor as well as the sellers and myself to review their findings. I found this highly unusual, as I was paying $395 for the inspection and the results were mine...not something I wanted to share with the freekin neighborhood! Anyway, about 6 weeks after the fact, we were demolishing the kitchen and discovered about an inch (no kidding) of BLACK ELECTRICAL TAPE wrapped around the sink drain! AND a nasty old wash rag wrapped around the water supply valve! Further, the "repair" the previous owner botched was COMPLETELY MISSED BY PRO VUE INSPECTION. The base cabinet was heavily damaged from water. When I called Mark at Pro Vue and he said " call me when your plumber gets there and we'll take care of it..." Well, I called, and with my plumber standing there I got Marks voicemail...6 days later he has yet to return my call. Pro Vue it isn't!
