There are currently 6 stores and on the family's 3rd generation of operating. Those 6 stores are located in Avon, Farmington, Glastonbury, Manchester, South Windsor, and Southington. This location in Avon is located on the busy route 44. I've driven by this place many times and was finally able to stop in. The parking lot was spacious. We were looking for ingredients to make Irish coffees for Thanksgiving. We found some of the ingredients easily and the prices were decent. They had a vast selection of wines, spirits, and beers. The people working there were friendly and helpful. Overall, a nice liquor store and will be back!

But once you go inside you'll see that the store is actually quite large and the aisles seem to go on forever. Their beer section is enormous, filling both sides of an aisle from the front of the store to the back. They sell quite a few single bottles so you can be adventurous and create your own six packs. We went to the bargain wine section and walked away with a nice Pinot Grigio for $3.99. Wandering the aisles and checking out their big inventory made me pretty sure they would have whatever I might need from a liquor store.

It was a simple issue, take back empty bottles and cans in accordance with CT Bottle Bill. The first time I tried to return very clean cans I was told they had to be in boxes not bags. The bottle bill doesn't say that. So back I went with my cans in boxes, one box had whole cans and in the other box I had crushed cans. The owner then told me he would take them this time but next time they needed to be whole cans and not crushed. The bottle bill specifically says any place selling the cans needs to take them back whole or crushed they. The owner said he had his own store policy and didn't need to take returns of crushed cans. There are lots of beer, wine and liquor stores to choose from and great customer service is the difference.

The store had a wide selection of hard liquor, wine, and beer to choose from. The prices were pretty comparable to other liquor stores nearby. The customer service has been good; except for one time, their registers were down so it was cash only (not their fault, but a quick heads up to let us know before we shopped would've been nice, luckily we had cash.) We find ourselves here quite often because it's local to us and convenient. Overall, a good spot to get some wine, beer, and liquor!
