I called in my order, and they have a very easy curbside pick-up. I got the woman whom everyone complains about, and I was friendly on the phone and found her pretty nice in return. Prices are about the same as the larger superstores. Curbside pick-up involves just calling them when you are outside and they run your purchase to your car. 4 minutes ago-Edit I'm from Glastonbury and suggested that my out of town guest pop in here for some beer while I was shopping at Highland Park, next door. Being out of town, he also has an out of town drivers license...as to be expected. When he was asked for ID he happily provided his drivers license. When that didn't suffice, for some reason, he also provided supporting identification. He is well over age and provided multiple pieces of identification, but because he didn't have a CT license was treated like absolute garbage by the employees and management here. What a nightmare. Would never recommend this place due to terrible customer service. read more

As many people do, I ran into Cork's to grab some alcohol for a Friday night. The staff is incredibly rude and unwelcoming, gathering around the front desk and talking between themselves. That would be my last time in this store, as I left without even buying anything. As many people already said, save yourself some time and struggle and go to another package store. read more

It is a convenient neighborhood shop with very friendly help. Several staff are multilingual - French, Italian, Spanish and of course English. A nice place for a short chat and language practice. They know their customers and treat them nicely. read more

I have to say that this is my one of my top places to buy my wine and spirits. Close to where I normally run errands, and conveniently located in the same plaza as Highland Park market grocery store, a Walgreens, and a dry cleaner place. The only thing missing in this plaza is a reasonably priced hair/nail salon to make it my one stop place for all things cool. Staff here are top notch. Super friendly and very personable. And that's why I give them my business. Good selection of wine, I've had good luck with their suggestions of new things to try. They carry a decent selection of microbrews. This is a small to medium-sized shop and they always seem to do a brisk business. Stop at the Highland park to get some good quality meal staples and stop into Cork's to pick up a nice bottle of wine or some beer to go with your meal. Can't beat it. read more

My husband and I stopped in briefly tonight to pick up a couple bottles of wine for the weekend. We quickly found what we were looking for and we impressed with the wide selection of quality wines. This has always been my last pick of a liquor store to go to but being so close to my house I gave it another chance. I have never been in here without being questioned about being of age (meanwhile I'm 22 1/2) to the point it makes me uncomfortable. Today I was asked to remove my mask to prove my ID was me which I refused and ultimately walked out and went to a much nicer store M&R Liquors. Extremely unacceptable to me during a pandemic to be asked to take my mask off with multiple other people around me in the store. They must get SOOOO many underage kids in there buying a bottle of wine Owner was miserable and rude to me, as she is every single time I go there. As a small business owner in town I'll be sure to pass along how horrible this establishment is! read more

I used to go here all the time. I would buy beer or wine here about three times a week. Unfortunately, the woman that works there was always very rude to me. She always seemed to have an attitude, and she was very condescending when she spoke to me. I will not be returning to Cork's Find Wine and Spirits because of her. The reason I didn't rate this place only one star is because the two men who work behind the counter are very friendly and accommodating. They even knew me by first name. This place never fails to disappoint. There was a time when I thought they were just having a bad day, but after so many times buying from Corks, I realized this is just the way they are. People normally run into a liquor store to grab something and run out. The cashiers, when you are ready, barely notice you because they are talking with themselves. Then, finally, when they do get to you, then take there sweet time making sure to read each line on your ID. My fiancé paid with a card and they asked for his ID again to reaffirm his name. Then, they said they couldn't allow him to purchase until they see MY ID, as well. They gave me my ID back after a long inspection, we paid and left. Upon arriving at my car, We realized we forgot one thing. We ran back in, went to pay, to which the man at the counter went through the whole ID process again. I thought it was a joke and explained I was literally just the last person in here, but he wouldn't accept and began the process. On top of this, they are super overpriced and even if you ask a question, they act like you're putting them out of their way. Honestly, on nights when this place is our only option around... Sure hope another liquor store moves into the area because the woman (part owner?) who is at the check-out certainly gives off the attitude that she must have way better things to do than help customers. She acts like she's half asleep most of the time and she's been jostled from a nap to grudgingly ring up the purchase. The attitude of the woman behind the counter was completely unacceptable. I went in for a bottle of wine and when paying she first asks me how old I am and then for my ID. I understand the carding process but she could have just asked to see my ID without asking my age. Then I went to use my husbands card to pay, he was not with me. She asked who he was then asked to see my ID again. We don't have the same last name so again I was given attitude and interrogated. I eventually paid with a different card and left feeling like a criminal. I was shocked by how rude the cashier was, there were many different ways to handle the situation could have been handled. I would really love to give this place a good review as they are so close to my house and I love supporting local businesses. However, I don't enjoy the way I'm treated each and every time I have visited. I fully understand that it is of utmost importance to check IDs and make sure they aren't selling to underage kids but they should do just that, check IDs. A full interrogation of my birthday, address, and whatever other details you may need to determine if I'm of age is a bit absurd in my opinion. If my drivers license states that I'm quite a few years past 21, I shouldn't need to be grilled like I'm a criminal every single time I come in. It doesn't give a good feeling and I'd likely rather drive a bit further into town to have a more positive experience and not feel like I'm doing something wrong by giving you my business. I also know for a fact that I'm not the only person to experience this and also not the only business they have lost because of it. read more
