I normally give good restaurant reviews but, this was the 2nd time ordering food from here and there will not be a 3rd. On the up side.. won tons are good! The down side..the shrimp egg foo young . Every time I order Chinese this is what I order and this place has the worst I've ever had. Wasn't even sure what I was eating at one point.. hard meat like stuff crusted to it (it was black).. SO, where's the shrimp? I found 2 shrimp and the rest was all cabbage. USUALLY I'm a 3 strikes your out however there will be no 3rd time. It turned me off from shrimp egg foo young. Food was amazing. Not the usual "everything tastes the same" Chinese take-out. The Chicken and Mushrooms was especially tasty.

Not sure how this place keeps constant business. The service is good and the people are nice, but the food was less than ok. The noodles were completely flavorless. I needed four packs of soy sauce and some duck sauce to have any flavor. The beef in the beef and broccoli looked questionable...... I'm fairly certain that is wasn't beef. It resembled pork but it didn't taste good either way. The General Tso's chicken was pretty good, but that was it. The egg roll was edible. My Fanta Orange tasted like cough syrup.... I would not recommend this place. Prices were good but not for the poor quality. read more

Ya know, I wasn't expecting much from a takeout place and I was still disappointed. Stopped by here on the way home from the beach. I ended up doctoring up my meal a bit when I got home and it was just okay. The prices are pretty cheap, and that's reflected in the quality. Horrible. Found several black hairs in my food, thought they were mine, then I found a blonde hair. I have no blonde hair. Ontop of that the food smelled like burnt plastic. Stay away from this place at all cost. And if you order from takeout star, they wouldn't refund the money, just the delivery cost. I ate less than half my food and couldn't eat the rest due to it tasting so bad and finding hairs. And mind you i found about 3 black hairs before I found the blonde hair. This is some of the best Chinese in Dothan. Also one of the only places that actually makes it spicy when you ask for "extra extra really spicy." Awsome deal at lunch with a choose two meats w/ Lo Mein or Rice for $5 and some change. Looks to be a family run business. read more

So good ! My family has been coming here since I was a child. They always have the best food with the widest selection and richest flavor. They treat us with respect as we do them and I've never had a complaint. Just make sure to have them repeat your order because sometimes the customer may confuse them... we usually get more than we ask for. read more

I had ordered the pepper steak with lo mien and all I asked is if they could scramble me and egg and mix it with my noodles and the waitress told me no she didn't even ask her manager if it was ok she just said no. This place gets no stars. Wish I could do negative stars. The last time I ordered from here half my order was not there when I got home. I called them and was told "too bad so sad for you" then they laughed and hung up. This time when I ordered today (trying to give them a chance to redeem themselves) I ordered sweet and sour shrimp. It was heated over so many times that was hard as a brick. The rice was under cooked. The eggroll was sour. Makes me wonder if the other food had been sitting for a minute as well. I noticed that there are different people working there from about 8 months ago so I assume the new management is not good. The food is way overpriced for the quality to be this poor. I will never return there. I called to complain about the food I got and was told. "Sorry bout that". I asked if I could a refund or more food they laughed and said I was lying to get free food. So I guess they really don't want my return business. Eat here at your own risk. If you get sick a few days later you will know where you got sick from. Barb read more
