You must call in advance to order as they don't keep anything ready and prepare it on call. Last time I remember calling in to pre-order the chicken grilled charcoal but recently was a bit bummed.. I didn't know that it was absolutely necessary to pre- order at least 45min- an hour beforehand. I believe it's way to long of a wait and super inconvenient. The chicken we ordered was dry and way too overcooked. They cook it way too long in my opinion. Recently, I decided to just order what was already ready. They had some BBQ chicken ready and rice was really good and delicious no charcoal grill this time. (3.5 ish for the dish) The grocery store itself is superbe ! A fine selection of food items available on site lots of Middle East items available to purchase that you can't get at your regular grocery store. Got some paneer cheese around 5$ for a thick 600g block so I'm pretty happy about that. The items are very pricey so don't recommend shopping here for anything generic but specialty products are pretty good and worth buying here if you live around the area rather than driving far into montreal/ west island. Overall, pretty small little authentic middle eastern place to check out for sure if you're looking for something extra and different.

They even had Pickled barrels of Pickles and green unripe tomatoes to chose from it's rare to find these now a days as everything is in a can or a jar so was pretty appreciative that they kept it served fresh this way from a barrelled jar, There's plenty of interesting and delicious sweets and dry goods imported as well. First time here and I'm happy I discovered it without My mom or grandma so now I can bring them here and help them reminisce with me as well! The staff on the floor are knowledgeable and quick to help & answer questions, the check-out process is friendly & fast, the store is clean, bright, well stocked ... I really can't think of one negative thing to say. :) I believe the same owners also run the IGA in Hudson. That's also a nice store with great staff, but I prefer the slightly larger St-Lazare location.

The worst rib steaks I ever bought. I tried to return the rest on July 29. ( I rarely return anything) The CSR refused the return citing first a 7 day return policy and then changing that to a 3 day return policy on meat etc. My understanding from their printed (French only) sheet pinned on the wall, was that acceptance of the return was discretionary. There is very poor customer service at this store and the quality of their beef is extremely low.

Management should investigate and warn this employee before he gets caught by government inspectors!
