Deli staff are friendly and helpful. People stocking shelves are always happy to answer questions. Good selection of mostly fresh produce. The women at the front accuse you of stealing every chance they get (see every other review on here and Google). They'll make eye contact with you then press the button on their little device that locks the self check out, so they can come peek inside your bags and question why you're buying things, and they'll sigh loudly after rolling their eyes if you ask for help with the machine. The only thing they dislike more than you using the self checkout, is you using the regular checkout that requires them to lift a finger. Everyone else in the store is friendly, courteous, nice, and happy to help you find things. It's just the older women in the front that hate working there, but they hate you shopping there even more.

It's quite a drive for me but it's a pretty drive & it's the closest Aldi to my house. ALDI always has what I need so the extra drive is worth it. Better selection & better prices than Tom thumb. I've spent my last dollar with Steve Fischer…read more I've used Fischer's for the last 6 years for deer processing, and always pick up a sack or two of extra meats, cheeses, and spreads when I pick up the finished deer. Always dealt with the courteous younger workers in the past. We drive from Sherman because the product has been good in the past and the drive is not too bad, offering us a chance to reminisce about a hunt on the way in to the processor. Deer hunting for my kids has always had an unspoken goal of driving to Fischer's after the hunt. Last night we brought a doe in at just after 7 PM and I called Steve Fischer - the first name listed on the list of phone numbers to call. I've never met Steve before last night, though I have heard about him. I've never in my life dealt with a more rude or patronizing individual. I sat there and watched him patronize and demean a 14-year-old kid because he obviously didn't want to get off of his azz and come check in this kid's deer. If you don't want to come up after hours, then don't put your name on the sign. I asked him if we were putting him out and that we don't aim to, or make a make a practice of such. After a smart azz and unprofessional response, I instructed my son to put his deer back in the truck and advised Steve we'd just go somewhere else. The relative positive is that I got to talk with my son for an hour about the value of his dollar, businesses who deserve it, and businesses that do not. I've referred a friend to Fischer's about a month ago who described a similar experience dealing with Steve at check-in. You've earned your last dollar from us bud.

Oh my, Where to start…read more This used to be my favorite Grocery store. Thank God I don't have to shop here anymore. For the past couple of years, hubby has gotten the dark chocolate fondant white cake here for his birthday. The bakery here used to be excellent. This year hubby wanted that same cake so we came to order it & I showed her the photo of it & she told me they don't make them anymore. She couldn't tell me why. So hubby looked around & saw a gorgeous "Tres leches cake with fruit" and he LOVES that so he said "I don't care I want this one" so we bought that one. However, while we were there I was also looking at the fresh baked breads & they were all really small & kinda deformed. That means the staff aren't PROOFING the dough long enough. It's not rocket science. However, pandemic slackers, no one wants to work, bla bla bla, I can imagine no one left here is smart enough to know how to bake. To Management: "The only employee that has ever been helpful & mentally capable of running anything is the employee "Ronnie" who ironically owns a food company. I bet he could run the bakery. Just a thought." Anyhoo, we get the cake home & it said: "Tres Leches FRUIT Cake" on the label, but turns out, it was a Tres Leches cream cake with no fruit. So the label was even wrong. Luckily, Hubby LOVED the Tres Leches cream cake, even better than the Tres Leches fruit cake he occasionally gets. So no harm no foul. All turned out well astonishingly. However, having only one excellent cake is not enough to make us return anytime soon. Please fix the bakery. Bring back the dark chocolate fondant white cake.

We have a tire blowout while out if…read moretown and had to use our mini spare tire to get from Durant Ok to Thackerville while on Vacation. It happened on a Saturday night, and we thought that all Tire stores would be closed on Sunday making us have to stay an extra day. Sunday, I started looking for Tire stores and was surprised that Walmart has a location about 15 miles away and they were open on Sunday. They were the only place in town or anywhere close that could replace this tire. We arrived at about 3:30 on 4/23/2023 and the manager came and greeted us and after inspecting the tire informed us that the side walls were shot, and the tire would have to be replaced. We had just put 4 new tires on this car less than a month ago, but the damage was obvious. The man gave us an estimate and a couple of options that were reasonable IMO. He checked stock and had a tire for us. He said he was a man down and it may take about an hour and a half for them to get it done. I am not a fan of Walmart and hate to shop our wait for work to be completed. While my wife can spend days and much money in any Walmart in the Country. I just wanted to get it done and get back to our hotel. Well to my surprise in less than 30 minutes they were done with our car. I want to shout out to the shop manager and Russell for the quick work. Thye both totally impressed me with their Customer service.

The eggs that I bought that were brown and hairy inside expired in July. This is September 30 and I don't keep eggs that long because we eat them often but now not for a while... I'm nervous about cracking one. We will not buy more than one package at a time now and will always check for an expiration date.
