He was air lifted to Dallas hospital in critical but stable condition. I visited the site a few days later to look for his cell phone and wallet. But I found a pair of jeans his mom had just bought him all torn and tattered with the tags still on them. I gathered up some of his stuff along with these jeans. I suggested that she try to swap them out. I was for sure the store would be nice enough and so glad that he survived to swap them. But to my surprise they said No... Really this is how a small town treats their loyal customers. She shops there a lot for they always have his size. I just can not say how upset I am that you could not find the kindness in your heart to accommodate this. Where is the customer service for a small town. I hope all reads this and thinks twice before shopping there. Being an elite yelper I always yelp good or bad.... and this has to be the worst.

It happened on a Saturday night, and we thought that all Tire stores would be closed on Sunday making us have to stay an extra day. Sunday, I started looking for Tire stores and was surprised that Walmart has a location about 15 miles away and they were open on Sunday. They were the only place in town or anywhere close that could replace this tire. We arrived at about 3:30 on 4/23/2023 and the manager came and greeted us and after inspecting the tire informed us that the side walls were shot, and the tire would have to be replaced. We had just put 4 new tires on this car less than a month ago, but the damage was obvious. The man gave us an estimate and a couple of options that were reasonable IMO. He checked stock and had a tire for us. He said he was a man down and it may take about an hour and a half for them to get it done. I am not a fan of Walmart and hate to shop our wait for work to be completed. While my wife can spend days and much money in any Walmart in the Country. I just wanted to get it done and get back to our hotel. Well to my surprise in less than 30 minutes they were done with our car. My order which contained frozen + refrigerated items were left on my front porch in 100 degree weather without any ice or insulated bag. I'm fairly new to Durant from Dallas (which has many delivery options). I've never received a food delivery with cold food not on ice or insulated. This may be the same in Dallas with Walmart. To top it off when I opened up my bags a big portion of the items that I ordered were missing. Disappointing. Was planning on making dinner but too many items missing. Eggs and milk were already warm. Frozen items barely frozen. I had already pre-paid a nice tip on a percentage of the items ordered. Basically the delivery person ended up with a 30% tip on a disappointing order. It is not the delivery person's fault. This is simply to inform ppl who possibly order delivery from Walmart.

One of the things that was very important to Miss Helen was that the restrooms in Walmart stores were always clean and welcoming. In most stores I have visited, the restrooms are less than ideal and in some cases, downright disgusting. The morning of my visit (10/17 at 07:00 am), the restroom at this Supercenter in Bowie was clean. You could say it was in excellent condition. A "Well done" is deserved to the associate who cleaned this restroom. The rest of the store?
