I shop here occasionally and at best I'd say the results have been mixed. While their specIals, which usually require a bulk purchase, can be attractively priced, their normal shelf prices can be frighteningly high and I'm convinced I get better value for money and more predictable quality from Coles. And more convenience as Coles is much closer. Annoyingly, I have twice had to take back a whole sliced rump Super Butcher classed as Silver Grade (ie. in their opinion better than supermarket MSA beef) because it was just inedibly tough. In fairness, they were profusely apologetic, gave me a full refund and some sausages and a couple of pieces of rib fillet by way of compensation the seconc time. But the harm had been done.....I probably won't be going back! read more

Water soaked meat! Purchased Grassfed MSA Porterhouse. When I cut it into roast size portions, excessive blood tinted water ran out over the cutting board, over kitchen bench, and onto floor. Made a terrible mess. During roasting, even MORE water came out, so roasts ended up sitting in a swimming pool of water in roasting dish. I emailed Super Butcher about the obvious pumping of water into the meat to increase its weight, but I received no response. read more

Definitely my favourite butcher on the Gold Coast. It has the highest-quality meat in the area (after Ferry Road Markets Butcher but the prices at that place are ridiculous) and the staff are great. They'll custom cut anything you want, and will take special orders. Ask for some Cape Grim brisket and beef short ribs, you'll be blown away! I love their specials as well, some great deals come up from time to time. read more

Hi I have being going to the super butch for some time I received great service from Bluey the last two times I went to buy my meat there Bluey was not there so no big deal I thought, unable to find what I needed so I went to the butcher counter to enquire the young lad come over to serve me when I asked what I wanted in a whisper he told me to wait for the butcher as he cannot do it thats fine I thought ,waited for him to finnish with the customer he was serving after he finished I thought I was next but not so someone else come to the counter he walked strait past me to serve the the customer that just arrived I took this as disrespectfull when I confronted regarding the reason I was not served in turn I was insulted by telling me I am impatient this is the second time this occurred I finding the service is going down hill and it is time to find another butcher if this is the way I am going to be treated I went to the super butcher on the 1st May 2019 at 17.30 read more
