What a great butcher, excellent selection of meats and his smoked goods are very good indeed. He is slightly off the Main Street in an arcade off Thomas Drive, well worth the short divert. His prices are competitive with the supermarkets but with products far better in quality. I remember the first time we decided to buy steak from the guy at a similar price to one of the supermarkets, it is when we did not end up with a fry pan full off water that we understood the difference between good meat and 'the other stuff' which is fast packaged and prepared to maximise the corporate profit at the expense of consumer best interests. He does something called a Kessler (a smoked pork chop) blimey they are good, his eggs are just fabulous too. Highly recommended. read more
