I watched the manager continue to serve other customers who came in after me, waiting over 20 minutes. He was told by another staff member I was waiting, but that didn't seem to matter to him. Was told the reason was that I was not served was that the store was experiencing higher than normal foot traffic- as I was in store, when the store opened, I actually saw this was not the case. A great excuse to justify poor treatment of customers! The next day, went to a competitor, negotiated $400 off the same product and free delivery. I will never purchase from this store again, nor do I recommend it to others! If I could give 0 stars I would.

They have 2 huge stores next to each other here, one which sells the appliances and computer stuff (toasters, TV, Vacuums, washing machines, computer games, electronic stuff and freezers in general) and the other which sells your bedding and furniture and flooring. It's all you really need. I first thought prices here would be expensive, but after going literally across the road to another huge superstore, we ended up buying most of our furniture and bedding and appliances from Harvey Norman. They will match prices, they will give you discounts here and there and tthey are always pretty damn competitive without being desperate. They also have a huge range of flooring and it seems they're trying to if not already are monopolizing the market so all the other smaller flooring and carpetting shops can't compete. They have an extensive range of wood and lino flooring and well, let's say they were our one stop shop for our new home and new home renovation and fitting out. We were really happy with the service and price we got here, and we sure did shop around as you do on a budget with a massive new mortgage on your hands. I wouldn't hesitate actually I have already recommended them to many of my friends looking to furnish their new house or rental property with stuff. It's a great place to start.

That's right, nowhere. While you have a little coffee to de-insane your mind. My second favourite spot in this massive warehouse is the garden centre. They have cool terracotta pots and statues for your garden, they even have chicken coups and guinea pig cages. Pretty sure they have bird aviaries as well. They sell trees, flowers, plants, plastic plants, marbles, stones, aquarium rocks, moss... everything for your gardening needs. And the prices won't break your bank either. My third favourite section is the section right inside of the garden area, where they sell kids chairs and playhouses, and slides and swings and how cute is that kiddy lounge chair? They're pretty cheap too from $10. Not sure how long they'll last, but I bought some anyway. My fourth favourite section is the art supplies section. They sell little wooden bread boxes you can paint, they sell paint brushes and a really cool range of acryllic and oil based paints and they sell rollers as well for painting walls. In a different section you can get your perfect paint colour made up and shaken too. My fifth and last favourite section is the lighting section near the back of the shop. Here we bought our exhaust fan/normal lights/heating lights for our bathroom and they look spectacular, even though we had no idea, someone was always around to give us one, or what they thought, sometimes they didn't even work there. That's the kind of person that shops at Bunnings. Definetely worth going there, if not for the cheap insect catchers and mini garden pots and number plate signs for your house or business. Absolutely anything seems possible. Fortunately I tend to snap to before I attempt to jam the entire warehouse into my car. Instead I'll usually just wander up to one of the many friendly and knowledgable staff and ask about this that and the other. Tools, colours, key cutting - These guys know it all.

You don't have to be a gardener to enjoy this place. Yes, they have a lot of bargain plants for sale but it's just like visiting a botanical garden. The plants are not your standard garden centre range but are cultivated exoticas - once I even saw a thousand dollar Gingko Biloba tree! The owners are clearly artists because they have giant ceramic sculptures incorporated into the landscape. Some are kitschy, some are a bit naughty but all show the owners have a sense of humour. And just when you think things can't get any odder, you run into their collection of beautiful pheasants. I told my sister about this place and she took her two kids. My nephew had a ball running around the maze like set up, weaving between trees, ducking under giant ferns, not knowing what plant, animal or sculpture will pop up around the corner. I could spend hours exploring this place and the owners are so good natured, they probably wouldn't mind. NB: This nursery is a bit hard to find. There is a sign on Beaudesert Road but it comes up very quickly so you may find yourself doing several u-turns. There's plenty of parking on site though once you eventually find it.

No question is too dumb and their advise is based on years of experience.....they can show you their results e.g. lotus plants which I have killed MANY...now flowering and strong and healthy. I recently took a friend from interstate to the "quirky nursery" and with over 30 years of running an orchard, working in a nursery and cultivating all sorts of amazing plants herself), she loved TempleX . She was excited to find such a huge variety of plants (some she had not seen for years) and found the owners to be very open and lovely people. Other friends (more local) have also found the place to be a treasure and not one negative comment! I just wish they had a coffee shop are there are some lovely spots to sit. This venue is ideal for children too with fish, poultry and lots of trees. There is also a snake story, and the owners are very good with visiting children. But one of the big attractions is the funky art ...odd bits of driftwood, statues and plants have been turned into art! Great place and take your friends too, they'll love it!
