The hotel is renovated with the room and the basic amenities kept in decent condition. Our room had comfortable beds and included a kitchenette that was convenient for our multi-day stay. Complementary breakfast till 9:30 on weekdays provided a nice standard variety including warm cinnamon rolls, bacon/sausage & egg, yogurts & fruits. Freshly ground medium roast & decaf coffee were a nice touch from the machine. There are no restaurants in the hotel but options were nearby within short driving distance. The indoor pool included a hot whirlpool. The fitness room overlooking this had a full rack of weights for light workout. Both were minimally used but equipped with towels and sanitation station, respectively. The outdoor patio in the back of the hotel was clean and well-maintained. There are also charging stations on-site. Skip it or hit it? We were happy with our stay at Holiday Inn Express Rochester Webster and would consider again!

After my departure back home I check my bank statement and saw that this hotel charged me for something extra that totaled $323. I called the hotel to see what the charge was for and they said I was charged that amount because of a broken TV. I stated to the GM Alicia Stephenson that the TV was working fine when we checked out. We had that TV on the whole time up until we checked out. I told her it could've been the cleaning crew that damaged the TV while sweeping or wiping. Those cleaning crews are rushing to clean those rooms and could've not been careful and bumped the TV. They did not want to own up to it. I told her why would I come back to stay at the same hotel if I broke something? It's easier for the cleaning crew to blame the client that stood in that room because they don't expect the client to come back to the same hotel after checkout and they know we are tourists and they won't see us again. The cleaner doesn't want to get in trouble. I've stayed at many Holiday Inns all over the country and abroad and I am a IHG member. Never have I damaged anything in any hotel. They didn't even give me a courtesy call to let me know about the damage and didn't tell me they were going to charge me. That charge is unauthorized and I want my $323 refunded back to me and there is no proof that the TV was damaged by me. This hotel is managed by Buffalo Lodging Associates and I plan to escalate it to them as well. I have also escalated this with IHG. Reviews will be left on other sites as well. After there was only Luke warm water for showers in the AM there was zero hot water. After 10:30 we had to all take cold showers as the issue had not been fixed. We spoke to the manager and ask for a discount she did nothing and said it was to difficult to do. I have called and emailed still nothing. So we won't be staying here again. Also we missed the commentary breakfast having waited to long to shower. No one wants a cold shower when its cold out. Disappointed. The entire place was dirtier than normal.

I've seen better and worse along the way. This Fairfield Inn location was simply fantastic. Clean, fully stocked, welcoming, great staff, spacious rooms... even the pool and hot tub exceeded the standard and my own expectations of a Fairfield. Tremendous location. 10 restaurants within 1/2 mile. Ample parking. Everything was spectacular. Including the staff which truly separated my experience from all the rest. My son plays college football in the local area. This will be my weekly spot.

I saw this place at a stop light and pulled in to check it out. Our room is basic but very clean, with new bathroom facilities. It's vintage motel, don't expect luxury. And certainly not for the price. But what's lacking in amenities is made up for in hospitality. We arrived late and rather than go out looking for a late dinner we were welcomed to order out and have the food delivered to the bar/lounge, where we had a few drinks while we were waiting, chatted with the bartender, ate at one of the bar tables, then played a few games of pool after. Apparently the hotel and lounge are under new ownership. I almost wished I lived here so I could frequent the bar: great prices and great bartenders. Wish they served food other than takeout (convenient as that is), but even without this is a great dive!

When my husband and I picked him up, he was scared, confused, very dirty and seemed very dazed. I asked if they used any sedation on him and I was told "no" by the owner who identified himself as Tom. (this conversation was done through email) He told me that my dog was not a good fit for the facility. He told me he stayed in his kennel/suite and he had to be hand fed. He told me that his staff tried to clean him after his "accidents". My dog is perfectly trained and has never had accidents. We recently moved back to Rochester, NY from another state. In our previous state he was boarded multiple times and was enrolled in daycare. He NEVER had any issues at any prior establishment and was always returned calm, clean and happy. I feel responsible in some ways because I never was shown the facility beyond the front desk. Although the website has a photo of an outside area, when we picked him up and drove to the back of the building, there was no outdoor space or fenced in play area of any sort. I do not understand why they would have allowed my dog to suffer like that for 10 days without contacting me or my emergency contact. the only reason I can think of is that they wanted their full 10 day fee of $545. I would never leave my pet with this establishment.

They are expanding to a bigger building, can't wait! I only wish there are more locations and they expand out to other parts of western/ central New York!
