    Stain
    Louis I.

So we booked a room for 2nights and the rooms are very small with limited amenities. The worst part is we came back from a long hot day to an unmade room. When asked about why it wasn't done I was told they have a new policy where they only clean the rooms every other day. To make matters worse, there are multiple stains on the under sheet that house keeping told me they didn't know if they could change. See picture Absolutely unacceptable. Won't be coming back to this place.

    Spacious bright lobby.

    - cold AC - clean sheets and towels…read more - hot water with good pressure - perfect in my book!!! So, this is a five star review. Yes. FIVE STARS. Listen up. This is the Budget Inn. It is not the Ritz Downtown. Get past that now and let's go on to the positive stuff. I called on the phone to make a reservation and the lady was friendly and helpful. I got a room set up and all was good to go. When I got to the hotel I met a man at the counter and he had a smile and was ready to take care of business. I was pleased with my encounter so far. These people had a room and I had money. Life was fantastic for each of us!! I should also note that they allow pets. I am a truck driver and have a small dog that travels with me. They charge a moderate fee to allow the pet and I have no problem with that. Also, all rooms are down stairs. It is a one level hotel and all rooms are outward facing. I like this because it makes it easy to take my dog for a walk. I get to my room and had a little trouble with the key in the door, probably user error, but the man was walking around the building, who knows why, and saw my plight. He came to the rescue and got me taken care of. I was in! Inside the room I was met with clean sheets and towels, COLD air conditioning, and a very hot shower with excellent water pressure. Now, what else do you want? Tell me? Isn't that why I'm here. A bed and a shower. This place provided those and did it well. In addition, they have a small fridge, microwave and TV. They also have WiFi that actually works! I had no trouble connecting and doing the business I needed to. I hooked up a laptop and my phone. So far, this is five stars to me, what about you? Now, I could go over a few minor details that may knock off a few stars or whatever for some people, but give me a break, this is the Budget Inn, remember. You're not here to impress anyone, so get over yourself. This is a crash pad and it serves that purpose perfectly.

If ever there is a lesson in "you get what you pay for", this is it. If you enjoy the comforts of…read moreyour grandmothers basement - with the dated and worn decor, and the wafting scents of mildew and sorrow - then this hotel is perfect for you. The room has a bed, a TV and a table. The decor has that effortless charm of donated Goodwill furniture and a splash of "we literally gave zero effort" chic. The bathroom reminds me of a time 10 years ago when I bought a remodel how-to book from Home Depot and decided it would be a great idea if I attempted to tile my bathroom. The shower experience can only be described as "psychotic" and "bipolar". The free breakfast is held in what feels like the locker room of a YMCA, complete with mismatching plastic patio furniture and durable turf carpet. The "food" consisted of stale mini muffins, bagels, sour waffles and coffee presumably retrieved from a gas station in the 1970s. The grounds are spacious and meticulously kept to maintain a wild and natural look. The buildings themselves are nestled on top of a few hills overlooking fields of tall grass; which is easily the highlight of the compound. But on the plus side, if you've ever wondered what it might be like to live in North Korea, then this has to be the closest replication in North America. If I came here expecting something more like a summer camp cabin, I would have had a better perspective, so keep that in mind when you read other reviews that inexplicably find this establishment worthy of anything over 2 stars.

This hotel is lovely. It reminds me of summer camp. Everyone is friendly and it is surrounded by…read morebeautiful trees. I have seen multiple deer, birds and even a cute little red fox on the grounds. The pool is amazing with spectacular views. The breakfast can't be beat for the price you are paying for the clean rooms and atmosphere. I wish all hotels could be like this! Not your typical Travelodge.
