It was a small job, and I called every Asphalt Contractor in Central Oregon that I could find for a quote. Only two of them called back- with the first one telling me they were too busy for a small job. Vic Russell Const called back and came out to my house to provide a quote. They were reasonable (providing a quote that was similar to the concrete quote I received for the same job) and friendly. The crew that completed the work did a great job and left a clean work site when they were finished. Everyone I dealt with at Vic Russell Const was friendly and professional.

We were in constant communication and he kept me updated every step of the way. And the results were fantastic. Long review/full story: We worked together with an engineering company to draw up plans to remove a 30 ft load bearing wall. From start to finish, it was a roughly 4 month process (because of COVID) and Josh worked tirelessly from the planning process to a finished project. He does his own work and takes pride in the work that he does. He was very upfront and honest about any issues we were going to face during construction, and we worked together to find amenable solutions. Oftentimes, there are hiccups, delays, and unforeseen problems when dealing with construction and it's the contractor's job to communicate what's going on to the client and Josh is superb in this aspect. Over the 3 week construction process, we were in constant contact and tackled the problems together. Josh runs a top-notch company and his work is impeccable. There are little details in his work that tell you he really cares about what he does. You won't regret coming to Pacific Craft Construction with your project.

My husband squawked at the price (like he always does about everything... no reflection on Color Tile's prices), so Sandra showed us several less expensive options, which were not as close in color to the old carpet we are keeping (in the upstairs bedrooms), but were still colors that were close enough that it wouldn't be a jolting color change when walking from room to room. We will probably have to replace all the carpet in about a year, so we'll get something I love later. Anyway, Sandra took about an hour to help me decide which swatch was the closest color in the mid-price range. All the colors start to look the same after a while. She's fabulous.
