I do not recommend to take your clothes to be cleaned the manager was unprofessional. I had took some shirts a couple of weeks ago for them to clean them. One of the shirts came back some type of stain, but I did not notice it until I got home when I took it back to the shop. The manager said well let me do a reclean I said OK fine next the following week just came and picked up that one particular shirt. The shirt was more stain than it was when I first went back the original time and complaint about it. He claimed it come from body oil. I couldn't do nothing but look at him. I tried to work things out only thing that he wanted to do to give me a $20 store credit but the shirt worth $89. Long story short it's sad that management would not correct their mistakes all the way but instead, he wanted to correct it 1/4 of the mistake... so if anyone know the owner of this establishment on the parkway east store in Centerpoint Alabama, please reach out to me. This is why you have to be careful who you do business with. I've been doing business with these people for years and for them I'm sorry I'm not even going to say them, but for this particular manager, he was very unprofessional. I was told they would be ready in two days, which I thought was great. The price is very fair and I haven't found anything close to the value in Birmingham. The women I worked with at the register were not very friendly. This was my first time at spin cleaners but it seemed like they expected me to know everything already. I'm not a fan of the signs everywhere saying that once you walk out they'll ignore any claims about lost or damaged items. Considering dry cleaning is a service, I would expect a little more hospitality and understanding. I don't necessarily have time to check each item before I leave the shop. I don't completely understand why a blouse is different from a shirt, making it 2x more expensive to clean. Most of my items were fine, although somewhat wrinkled and one of my starched shirts had an odd yellow stain on the front that wasn't there before. Regardless, my biggest issue was a suit jack I brought in. When I got home to look at it, I noticed a string hanging from the cuff. Looking closer, I barely touched the string and one of the buttons on the cuff fell off. It seems like I can't call them about these issues due to the signs everywhere in the shop basically stating that once you leave, it's not their problem. I was disappointed with my overall experience at spin cleaners. I would like to try them again due to the great prices and location, but the quality of service and cleaning makes me a little hesitant.
