Recently bought my wife a Mercedes E550 cabriolet with low miles in immaculate condition. Will Garrison was our salesman and was more than patient as we drove one car after another. We ended up getting a great deal on a really nice low mileage car. Only quibble is there was only one key and Mercedes want $1000 to make a spare!! read more

Sunvertibles - Car Dealers Near Me - Franklin, Tennessee

I had a very great experience working with Will Garrison, trustworthy, would buy from here again, would recommend to friends and family!

Many reviews complain about their asking prices being too high. If you are looking for a substandard automobile, that needs more work, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for top of the line, late model automobiles, in excellent shape, this is your one-stop-shop. The owner literally hand picks every single automobile in his inventory! The reconditioning staff are true professionals and take great care to address all issues before a car is allowed to be available to sell. The sales and finance staff were very professional but personable. Our salesman, Will, was kind and understanding. He never tried to sell us anything. He just took time to get to know us and address our needs. We never felt pressured. The make of a true salesman and a decent man. Everything was up front. No hidden fees. We drove off in our new (to us), convertible, knowing we would recommend them to our friends. I WILL BE BACK FOR MY NEXT AUTOMOBLE! read more

Will at Sunvertibles was GREAT to work with! He's very down-to-earth, which is a refreshing difference when working with someone on a car purchase. Not only was the purchasing process straightforward with no games, Will was also generous and happy to help us out in multiple ways that we didn't even have to ask for. That means a lot, and we are grateful for his service! Also, this business gifts to a charity of your choice when you purchase, which is a wonderful bonus. Give this small dealership your business - you'll be treated well!! read more

I worked out a deal from out of state on a car, and flew in to take delivery. Once I arrived, they refused my money and sent me away without a car. Now I'm stuck in TN w no ride, and have to buy a ticket home. Worst people ever. read more

Finally able to remove any sign that I bought a car from Sunvertible. They are just a fluffy used car lot.

We have bought and sold several cars here over the years. Always an easy transaction. Will Garrison is a great sales rep and very friendly

Bought a truck today from Nathan. All the staff I talked to there were nice folks. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. They answered my request through the website unlike at least 6 other places . read more

So I actually did not end up buying a car from here because my financial situation changed mid transaction, but CJ was one of the most helpful car dealers I've interacted with! It was my first time trying to buy a car, he was very nice, gave me lots of heads up information and was just overall incredibly pleasant to deal with. read more

Recently bought a car from Sunvertibles. Very unprofessional . The salesman was rude and had a smart remark to every question. I ask for manager, he would not comply. And they were suppose to arrange to have my keyfob programmed, they never did after waiting 4 weeks, so I had to call to ask and they just gave me the number of the guy who programs the keys. I'm still waiting to get that done. And every car I have ever bought, the dealership puts a full tank of gas in the tank when you buy a vehicle. They did not. I don't think they even thanked me for buying a car from them. They had no problem taking my check for the down payment. Very disappointed. read more

One word sums up the this business: QUALITY! My parents were looking for a vehicle after one of theirs broke down and ended up at SunVertibles and got just what they were looking for at a very reasonable price. Treated with respect and a genuine desire to get the what they were looking for Brien Boone and everyone at SunVertibles did a fantastic job! High quality service and good value on a very fair priced Kia Sorernto. I was also looking to replace my 2006 GMC pick-up and after visiting several used car lots and the local Ford, GMC, and Hyundai lots I ended up at SunVertibles too. We called to see if Brien Boon was there and if they still had a nice looking 2016 Ford Escape. The answer to both was yes so I headed out for SunVertibles with my dad. When we got there Brien had the Escaoe uo front ready and waiting for a test drive. After a brief conversation with Brien I was behind the wheel for a test drive. Exterior: Very Nice! Interior: VERY Clean, no odor, damage, or any issues whatsoever. Very comfortable, nice ride with lots of pep...just what I was looking for! The Escape, as was the Sorrento my parents bought there a week prior, was very reasonably and competitively priced and was as advertised. There was never any pressure to look at or consider another vehicle...they jsut wanted to serve the customer and give them what they come for. If you're not sure then they will give you the help you need all the while trying to get you into what you want and need, not what they want to sell unlike other lots I visited over the past week. When it came time to talk money, their offer on my trade was right in line with what local dealerships were offering as well as being in line with what KBB, NADA, and Edmunds all indicated it's value was. Very little negotiation needed as their prices were very fair. Financing was a breeze too. Quality all the way around! Great people, great vehicles, and definitely a no-pressure approach to selling you what you need/want. It was truly a pleasure to buy a car from Brien and the folks at SunVertibles! If you are in the market for a quality used vehicle then you owe it to yourself to go visit SunVertibles. They treated my parents great when they bought their Sorrento and gave me the same no pressure, no worry, no hassle car buying experience. If you're looking to buy a quality used car then do yourself a favor and go see Brien Boone and get the ball rolling. read more

Far as I am concerned, these guys are the real deal. It's an interesting business model: a family-owned smaller dealership where the owner travels around and cherry-picks good-condition cars, many of them 'enthusiast' cars, buys them, then reconditions them, as needed, to sell. I found a really low-mileage Astra XR coupe that had come up from Florida and appears to have spent most of its life in storage- exactly what I was looking for, as near to a new one (a discontinued model that was only sold in the US for 2 years) as I have found in 4 years of searching. My experience with them was a bit riskier than most because it was a remote sale- they're near Nashville/ I'm outside of Detroit, and I have bought cars online before with both as-expected and with horrible results, so it was a gamble. This car was listed at the top of its KBB price range and I paid sticker, but SunVertibles covered powertrain with a 3-month Warranty, and the car shipped up during the dead of winter with no issues (except the truck driver forgot to turn off the map light and the battery was almost flat). While I paid full price, I have no regrets, because everything was pretty much as described, and it was exactly as I would have walked into a Saturn dealership and ordered brand new in 2008. I dealt with Chase and with Brandon entirely over the phone, and they were always courteous and available through the many details that came up with not just the purchase but the logistics of delivery, and after the sale. Based on my experience, I would recommend seriously considering SunVertibles if you are looking for a nice, 'almost new', interesting, fun car. read more

Best experience with any car dealer minor issue took care of it top-notch service wouldn't shop anywhere else for a car the total deal took about 15 minutes not all day like some dealers read more

Worst experience ever. Sales completely unfamiliar with their inventory. Took test drive, arranged financing but when I went to pick up car, the "hands free" option was really not hands free. I was told by Brandon that Mercedes is responsible for giving them the options on the car & they were only responsible for a brief description of the vehicle on the first page of their website. Said I should call Mercedes. Two days of my life I'll never get back. read more

BUYER BE AWARE: I bought a Mini Cooper from them in December, and I have been stressed out since then. The car had only 43,000 miles, therefore I paid cash since I believed it was a reliable dealer. I did purchase their 3 month warranty. From day one the check engine light came on... they said it might be a sensor, so I was not that worried. That was the first out many trips in which my mini was at the mechanics. I also go to school and work everyday which made my life more stressful. The owner, Brandon was extremely uninterested to help me in fixing the car. I paid for the warranty knowing in which they would help me. All together, my mini was in the mechanics every 2 weeks since I got it. Although I had the mini in my ownership for 3 months, I had it for 20 days all together... the rest of the days it was rested at their mechanic. When I was sick of waiting and kept hopeful that the car would be fixed it never was then made a deal to buy the car back from with a 4,000 dollar loss. Not only did they not fix the problem, I lost 4K in 3 months. I am aware the mini is a German car, however I also believed that they actually cared about their customers. Sunvertibles is just a dishonest autodealer who doesn't own up to their product. read more

The worst car shopping experience I've ever had. My friend and I (both women in our mid-twenties) went to Sunvertibles to check out a car they had for sale. My friend was interested in purchasing a Toyota RAV4, and she brought me along for support. From the moment we walked in, Brien talked down to us as though we as young women could not possibly know what to look for when buying a car. After test driving the car we were interested in, my friend was ready to buy it then and there. Brien spoke to her very condescendingly and disrespectfully throughout the car buying process, and when I finally couldn't stand it any more and spoke up in her defense, he very sarcastically asked what right I had to even voice my opinion. We got up and walked away, and Brien lost out on making a really easy sale, just because he lacks the decency to treat people with a even a tiny bit of respect. read more

So, I see another reviewer had this issue with Brien. She's in her mid twenties and I'm 39, so apparently he's just straight up sexist and age is less relevant to this arrogant old white dude. I came in with every intention of buying an Eos on the spot, in cash. He couldn't have been less interested in selling me a car - didn't offer any information, test drive, didn't even take my information. They had three in stock and all were priced well over book value - his explanation was that they were hard tops and those always go over book. Ummm...no, no they don't. I high tailed it over to Hallmark Volkswagen where they sell them CPO and treat you like a human even if you have the misfortune of being a woman. read more

BUYER BEWARE - We purchased a 2009 VW Tiguan from Sunvertible for our daughter, who was going away to college. After putting less than 6,000 miles on the vehicle, we've had to have numerous major mechanical and electronic repairs done, totaling nearly 50% of the original purchase price. The brakes also need to be replaced. Either Sunvertible employs a sub-par used-car inspection process prior to putting a vehicle on their lot or they knowingly sell vehicles with major problems. Sunvertible takes no responsibility...in fact, they've shifted all blame to the mechanic who did the repairs. Sunvertible has done/will do nothing to help us...they won't even fix the brakes, which were well worn at the time of sale (In fact, Brandon, the sales manager, insinuated that my daughter's driving caused excessive brake wear). In short, Sunvertible refuses to stand behind their product. read more

They stock really nice used cars--not junk. The buying experience is pretty easy--you don't go back and forth like the big places and it's low pressure. Most stuff seems to have a 3-month warranty so there's a little peace of mind when you leave the lot you're not getting a lemon. We've bought two cars--yet neither of them convertibles! read more

A great buying experience. Prices are fair, staff are friendly and not pushy. Great inventory and selection. If you're looking for a clean, low mileage, pre-owned car in the Nashville area, look no further. We bought a 2010 Lincoln MKZ and couldn't be happier. read more

Easiest car buying experience we've ever had. Brandon was super helpful and a pleasure to do business with!

So glad we choose to by my daughter's car from Sunvertibles! What a great, laid back atmosphere with a great, fairly priced selection. Ask for Brien Boone when you arrive. He was very friendly and helpful. John, the owner, finished up our paperwork in no time at all, and away we went! You'll have no hassles here! read more

I have heard good things about this place but now I know why. Brandon, Scott and group have by far set the bar for car purchases. I am in the Automobile Service industry and been at dealerships. This is not a dealership. It is a family that happens to sell cars. And they do that very well. They have to make a living so they do not give the cars away but the prices are honest and comparable to other places. What sets them above the big chain stores is the personable touch. Brandon went way above what I am ashamed to say that I would not have probably done. He sacrificed his off time for my family and I will forever be grateful You got my family out of a pinch and now I have bought 2 cars from them. I can't say Thank You enough. I will never buy a new car again unless you start stocking them. Thanks again to you for treating my family the way you did. read more

This is a dealership interested in selling cars. They offer great prices, no haggling needed. Super helpful and friendly salesmen. Great car buying experience! read more

We purchased a vehicle last month from Doug, and our experience was fantastic. After test driving the car we actually went there to see, we weren't pressured to make any decisions. There's a little play area for children, which helps when you have one and are trying to make a big decision such as getting a new vehicle. read more

My first time buying a car on my own couldn't have been easier, thanks to Brien and Matthew. They were both so helpful and understanding. I was able to get exactly what I wanted with absolutely no hassle. I would definitely recommended Sunvertibles to anyone wanting an easy and stress free car buying experience! read more

If you have the option to buy a new car somewhere else I strongly suggest it. My salesperson Caleb could not have seemed less interested in selling me a car. After my first visit I felt that they would rather me leave than buy a car from there. If the car I wanted was available somewhere else I would have left and never looked back, I wasn't so lucky. Not to mention 7 days after I purchased the car the check engine light came on. Caleb told me to come by and they would see what was going on and fix it on site or at a shop they work with in Nashville. After driving 45 minutes, upon arrival I was greeted and Brandon went to check what code was being flagged. I did not feel very good after I watched him google what the code meant on his personal phone. Next Brandon told me that he had reset the check engine light and asked me to drive around and see if it comes back on. I drove 45 minutes to have my check engine light reset, frustrating. Every experience I have had here has been unpleasant one way or another. I would strongly urge taking your business elsewhere, somewhere you can be valued as a customer and serviced in a pleasant manner. read more

If your not a fan of CarMax but also feel sick at the thought of dealing with pushy sales people, then Sunvertibles is the place you need to be. They helped me pick the car & finance option that worked for me (not them). When I said I needed to think about it they didn't try to pressure me into a now or never deal. I came back two weeks later sure of what I wanted. What I liked most was they answered my questions but never crowded me with with pushy emails, texts, & calls during that two weeks. Jon & Mathew are very kind. I would ask for one of them. read more

ended up not getting my car from here because they did not have one with the feature we needed but the sale people were very nice the lot was clean and the prices were all clearly marked on the vehicles. we test drove a few cars by ourselves as long as we wanted and were never pressured. wish we could have bought from here. will go back read more

Went there a few months ago to look at a BMW convertible. First let me say that they do have some nice cars for sale, but the "car buying experience" here is the typical one. They will tell you all the things wrong with your trade in and give you a lowball for it while not budging on the price of their car. Seemed like they could care less whether they made a deal or not. Not saying they're bad, but just know what to expect when you go there. read more

I have purchased over 20 cars in my life and this was the easiest purchase ever. They kept us involved during the whole financing process with full disclosure. Our sales associate Brandon couldn't have been any better. The cars were that we looked and purchased were in near perfect condition. I plan to make my next purchase here in the future!! read more
