I have never had a more stressful project completed on my property--and that includes numerous…read moreremodels. As a project manager myself, I can confidently say this was one of the most poorly managed projects I've ever experienced, especially due to the lack of communication and accountability from Anthony. We chose him based on our neighbor's recommendation to remove the grass in our front yard, replace it with California native plants, and apply for a rebate. We also saw all the 5-star comments and thought it would be an easy project. But the biggest reason we hired him was his promise to handle the rebate paperwork, as he had done for many of his clients. He explained the rebate process clearly and told us we'd be reimbursed for a significant portion of the costs. Once the water company approved the project, we scheduled the start date. Unfortunately, everything after that was disappointing. The crew changed multiple times during the five-day project, with each new crew unaware of what had already been done. This led to several frustrating issues: - We purchased an outdoor lighting set with two hubs to allow for future expansion. We explained this to the first crew, but the next crew didn't use the hubs and even lost them. After weeks of follow-ups, we got them back, but they did not offer to fix their mistake. Now we need to install them ourselves if we want to add additional lights. Also, the electrical line sits so close to the surface, I can see it when pulling weeds. - Most of the rocks were spread before the drip irrigation was properly installed, and the irrigation system was never tested beforehand, which resulted in numerous leaks and disconnections. They had to return multiple times to patch issues as they appeared. - They discovered a leak and said it would cost extra to fix. We agreed, but Anthony's manager later said it was already handled and never requested payment. Months later, Anthony mentioned "extras" we hadn't paid for, which I assume was this. The project was completed on December 20, 2024, but the issues and the rebate process dragged on for months. We had almost no contact from January 8th to March 20th, even with me asking for an update multiple times. Frustrated, I contacted the water company directly. They responded within two hours and told me that they had emailed Anthony on March 3 and 12 about requesting an extension since the deadline was March 2nd! He claimed he didn't receive those emails, which is fine, but it was still his responsibility to follow up with the rebate as he promised. He said he had submitted the documents by email, which the water company confirmed was the wrong method--everything had to go through their portal, and nothing had been uploaded. Only after I had the water company reach out to Anthony, he submitted the required documents on March 31. A week later, the water company requested more information, and it took him another three weeks to respond -only after he answered my call that I made from another number! He finally sent someone to take pictures, but we later learned a required pressure regulator filter had not been installed at all! So they installed it, and I took pictures to send to the water company. Anthony sent the requested invoice the same day. It was 52 days after the first deadline! And after many revisions, we got the approval for a post-inspection on May 8th. At that inspection, it turned out that they did not install the correct lines required by the rebate. They had to come back again, and their "fix" created even more leaks. I eventually had to schedule the final inspection myself--even though Anthony was supposed to--and only in October did the water company finally approve the project. Anthony never visited the site while work was in progress and came only once afterward, in April, to replace a part. He rarely returned messages, ignored all my calls, and never took responsibility for the many mistakes and miscommunications. We often felt like we were chasing him down for the services we had already paid thousands of dollars for--at times, it felt like we were begging. Rather than taking responsibility, Anthony made us feel like we were the problem when, in reality, we were simply asking for what we were promised. Near the end, he became openly hostile, even told me, "I hope you don't lose your rebate money." We eventually got our rebate, but ELEVEN months after completion. Even now, the irrigation still leaks, some plants have died, there are weeds coming out from everywhere, and one tree has tilted over. At this point, I'm too exhausted to ask them to fix anything, so we patch issues ourselves! This could have been a simple, enjoyable transformation of our front yard--but instead, it became a months-long ordeal filled with miscommunication, unprofessionalism, and avoidable problems. I would not recommend them to others.

I love our new turf! The entire process was friendly, professional, and smooth! We were quoted 1…read moreweek and by the next week, we had our turf installed! Anthony and his guys were respectful of our property and left everything clean each night after work! We are happy with the install and excited to have a new outdoor space to relax in! ... and did I mention the pricing was very affordable?!?! We are so happy with the entire process and highly recommend!
