Went 2-27-2026 made a deposit at the drive thur.After hitting send button I hit the call button to get the teller's attention. Teller #2191 never greeted me and took the deposit. Tried call button again no response. Teller sends receipt from deposit back again no response. Hit call button again finally get a response and ask for checking deposit slips he sends two slips back. Had to park my car and go in to get more and teller # 2191 tells he can only give me two more. Tried to explain deposit slips are the way customers put money into AUB. Teller 2191 doesn't comprehend. After conversation with teller I think the reason for lack of communication is because he can't speak English well and is hard to understand. Missing Sandy Spring and the long term employees who have been let go and been replaced with new employees who don't care about customer service

The inside is nice and clean and the blue light is edgy. It's not super bright inside so you have that relaxed feeling going in. The downside is the ridiculously small road to the in car atm. The parking lot is also hard to navigate with a limited amount of space. Saturday seems to be the busiest and with cars coming in and out of McDonald's and the cars going to Capital One, it is a mess! If you can get through the driving and parking logistics, it's not a bad spot. The location is at the main road and near the entrance to the highway.

Although the staff attempted to contact their support desk for assistance, the branch manager (I believe her name was something like Dodi) showed little urgency or initiative. Most of the effort came from the teller (Precious or Princess), who did her best but ultimately couldn't resolve the issue. I asked to be contacted once a solution was found so I could return, but I never received a follow-up. I ended up visiting the Gaithersburg branch, where they promptly assisted me with the withdrawal. The difference in service was night and day. I was especially disappointed in the manager's lack of engagement and effort at this location.

However, based on the outside view, this Cap 1 is likely comparable/similar to others in the area. In the era of ATM networks Capital One is part of the MoneyPass or Allpoint network thus to avoid unnecessary charges, selcted this location. The drive through is located around the side of the building and accomidates both ATM and Teller transactions. There is also an ATM adjacent to the main entrance. Getting to the bank is via two way access road that also serves a busy Mickey D's and gas station, convenience store. Mentioning this because its a bit of tight fit when busy and passing other vehicles in traffic. Your results may vary, but for Cap 1 customers this is an banking oasis for locals to the area.
