We had a master suite addition to our home. I hired Sunteck to put in solar screens, and while I am happy with the final product, the service was terrible. The first time the installer came out, the frames of the screens were mismatched and some of them were the wrong size. The owner, Darrell, had mis-measured them. Also, the screws used to install them were also mis-matched. The installer said the owner had run out and he was just using the screws that were available. It looked awful. They had to come back the following week to install everything properly. I got no phone call from Darrell apologizing for the problems. I was also charged for the entire job before it was completed. When I called Darrell about this, he blamed it on the new girl in his office. When I called again to ask why the installer wasn't at my house during the time scheduled, I got reasons why he might be late, but again, no apology. After the installer finally arrived, I called Darrell again about a problem with some casement windows and he never bothered to get back to me at all. The owner is eager to sell you the product, but it feels like he has no interest in making sure the process goes smoothly or in taking ownership when things go wrong. The installer was obviously irked the first time he came out and hung some of the screens crookedly. Though the issues were finally resolved, I am left with multiple unnecessary holes in my metal window frames from them having to rehang the screens. All in all, I would not recommend this company. The screens are fantastic, but the company not so much. read more
