Not only has Devon helped Alice with her specialized training, but they've also worked with Zoey and David on refresher lessons and day-to-day living strategies to make managing three very different dogs much easier. Devon's approach is amazing--they adjust their training methods to align with what I'm comfortable with, creating a collaborative and supportive experience. It's never about right or wrong; it's about finding what works best for you and your dog. We've done in-person lessons and board-and-trains, and every time, Alice comes home better than when she left. Alice adores Devon, and knowing she's happy and in such capable hands makes all the difference. Devon is easy to communicate with, incredibly knowledgeable, and truly cares about the well-being of every dog they work with. I can't recommend them enough

I wasn't sure how he would do woth other animals but Devon immediately assured me that they would be able to handle Kapano in their house for his boarding! I was impressed as he came back more confident and mannered around other dogs. I was consistently sent updates and photos of him throughout his stay and made to feel more than welcome to visit. He also came back to me in better shape in terms of muscle! If there was anything Devon had questions about they had no issues contacting me right away to let me know or ask about, I felt very comfortable and safe with my dog remaining under Devons care. I had never had to leave my dog with anyone before so i was reasonably worried as he's been my bestfriend for 6 years but i am EXTREMELY satisfied with Devons services and will continue to use devon for any training/boarding related needs for the future. I cannot recommend Arcane Canine enough! And thank you Devon for taking the best care of my boy when I needed it the most you are amazing!

Prior to them we went to Pet Smart in Orange park, tried various online training programs, and everything I could find on YouTube, but the the difference in technique and overall expertise is far superior to anything I've tried. Not only did they help address my puppies special needs, but they were always available to address my individual desires and opportunities for improvement. Both my dog and I grew from their tutelage and I'd never go anywhere else in this lifetime. If you're even considering another trainer I HIGHLY recommend giving Anne a shot first, and saving the stress and headache of anyone else in all of Jacksonville. Her curriculum is well rounded and at the same time, catered to the needs of the dog/owner, and you're not going to find that anywhere else. I'm moving to New York in a few months and adopting another Dalmatian shortly after, yet I'm already making plans to bring my future puppy to Anne for an extended "board and train" session 900 miles away because I know the results will be nothing short of OUTSTANDING. Outgoing, shy, reserved, timid, young, old, big, small, it doesn't matter, Anne and Megan can do it ALL. And btw, I worked for Pet Supermarket AND Pet paradise for years, and they knowledge I gained here allows me to thrive at my job when I'd interact with owners and their pets.

To be fair, after her first course, we did not consistently reinforce the training at home, and she lost some of what she had learned. That was our responsibility. I did see a difference in her after this course, and I'm grateful that she has that foundation back. They demonstrated commands such as "heel," "let's go," and "place," along with training markers. She responded really well in the controlled training environment. Out and about, however, she has difficulty following those same commands when there are distractions. We will continue working with her to build that consistency. My main concern is communication and follow-through. We did not receive any training videos during her stay. When I called to check on her, it was sometimes difficult to reach someone, and responses could take a while. Regular updates would have helped while she was away. We received a seven-page follow-up guide outlining commands, but without videos showing how our dog was trained, it has been difficult to put those written instructions into practice with her at home. Videos of the trainer working with her would have made the guide much more useful. We were also supposed to have follow-up sessions, but those have not been scheduled. I now have to call to get them arranged, especially since we need help carrying the training over into everyday situations. Owners should also know that the dogs sleep in crates at night. If your dog is not accustomed to that, ask about the sleeping arrangements before booking. Overall, I appreciate the foundation she regained, but better communication, training videos, and follow-through on the follow-up sessions would improve the experience.

We eventually wanted him to be a Therapy dog, so I wanted to make sure he learned the appropriate things. Since we had Rayann in St. Mary's for my daughters German Shepherd in Savannah, GA and Evan was so incredibly helpful in every facet of setting it up, I knew I wanted to use them. To find Cassie Hatch was just a cherry on top because she was certified to get some of the titles that lead to being a Therapy dog. Not only is Cassie extremely talented, she works with your schedule and is very organized. She had my puppy doing things so quickly and he absolutely loves her. She always responds when I have questions via text or while she's there with us no matter how dumb it may be. I get anxious when I have to do things in front of people, but Cassie has something special about her to make you comfortable. I hesitate to write too many things about her because then she'll get booked up and I won't get my time with her! I don't plan on stopping training anytime soon and will find everything she can teach him, my husband and me so that he is the best smartest and behaved dog around Thank you to everyone at KPro K9 for everything you do including hiring Cassie who has to be the best trainer I know and we are all crazy about her!

She is a constant demon, but the minute he walked in, she was a tranquil-ish, and readily began to (sort of) follow his commands. We originally saw Ryan working with training a dog at St. Johns Town Center on the crowded sidewalks. He had that dog tightly following commands and expected behaviors. The dog looked like they had a "mind meld" with Ryan, because of how well it behaved walking through all the people and cars. Perfect behavior. So we are super excited to begin training next month with the Beginner in-home program. Following that we have already committed to going straight into the Intermediate at-home training. We had a minor hiccup with our original interaction, but the staff made it right quickly. So we appreciate not only a great trainer, but the staff who back up his work was great, also. Can't wait to see what happens with our overly excitable - hyper active little cattle herding pup!

He was a good and smart dog, but very excitable, was terrible on the leash (my fault), had issues with jumping up on people, and would go crazy to play with any other dog. Courtney did an incredible job in addressing all of the challenges listed here and more. Stewie is the perfect dog now, well, almost. He still makes some mistakes, but they have been easily corrected since Courtney also trained us. Our biggest concerns were that after five weeks at his age, he might not remember us -- that didn't happen; and that the training would break his spirit or affect his personality. That didn't happen either. We got him back with all the things we loved about him and none of the things we didn't. Courtney told us it may take a year or more for the training to fully take hold if we continue to work with him consistently; and we will. If you've got a pup who needs training, this is the place to go. We cannot recommend Courtney and Bold City K9 enough. As Courtney says: "discipline is freedom". In Stewie's case, it truly is
