As a LONG-time patient (we're talking two kids and enough visits to qualify for a frequent flosser…read morerewards program), the experience was frustrating overall. Apparently our insurance wasn't updated, which led to a very long wait and suddenly made us feel like we were trying to finance a yacht instead of a kid's teeth cleaning. I totally understand insurance issues happen, but after years of coming here, being treated like strangers trying to dodge a bill was not exactly the warm fuzzy pediatric dentist experience you hope for. So, friendly advice: triple-check your insurance before you go. They absolutely will not see you without it, and your child may have enough time in the waiting room to learn orthodontics themselves.

My husband and I have been going to her for about 10 yrs and our daughter, who is now 10, started seeing her when she was 3. She has lots of kids movies and my daughter loves watching a movie while getting her teeth cleaned. Stephanie makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience. She puts her patients at ease with her warm personality and by listening to her patient's concerns and talking them through everything. I went to Stephanie for years before moving out of state, then immediately sought her out when I moved back to the KC region, not just because of Stephanie but because of her staff. I have been to a lot of dentists, having lived in multiple states, and the staff, from the front desk to the hygienists, make such a difference. I have been to dental offices where the hygienists shame you for not flossing rather than educating their patients and that alone is what kept me coming back to Stephanie Warden. I wish I could have packed her and her team up with me when I moved to DC because I have not been able to find the same kind of care, friendliness, and compassion as her team. She also somehow always remembered to ask questions about me that told me she actually remembered me and my story. She made me feel like I was her only patients among many. Thank you Stephanie and team for all that you do!
