I cannot say enough amazing things about My Kids Dentist and Orthodontics. From the moment you walk…read morein, the entire experience is welcoming, professional, and genuinely caring something every parent hopes for when it comes to their children's dental care. Dr. Wilson has been absolutely incredible with my family. She has performed two surgeries on my six-year-old, and I truly could not have asked for a better experience. She was patient, gentle, and took the time to make sure both my child and I felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. She even reached out after hours both times, to insure he was back to normal and not having any issues coming off of anesthesia. That level of compassion makes all the difference, especially in situations that can be scary for kids (and parents!). I also have to highlight how wonderful she has been with my other boys, who were very nervous about going to the dentist. Her calm and kind approach helped ease their fears, and now they actually feel comfortable going to their appointments which is something I didn't think I'd ever say! Bethany, the coordinator, is another reason this office stands out. She has answered every question I've had (and there have been a lot!) with patience and understanding. Anytime I felt unsure or anxious, she provided reassurance and guidance that truly put me at ease. Having someone like her in your corner means everything. On top of that, the front desk staff and hygienists are consistently friendly, welcoming, and professional. You're always greeted with a smile, and they make the entire process smooth and stress-free. If you're looking for a pediatric dentist and orthodontics office that genuinely cares about your children and goes above and beyond, I highly recommend My Kids Dentist and Orthodontics. We are so grateful to have found them!

As a fellow healthcare professional, my family's experience at KC Braces + Kids has been deeply…read moredisappointing, despite the positive orthodontic results for our son's braces treatment. For nearly two years, our family has relied on this office for both orthodontic and general dental care for our three children. While we are pleased with the clinical outcomes of the orthodontic care, the consistent administrative mismanagement and customer service issues over the past 8-9 months have been exceptionally frustrating. Our concerns include: * Patient Misidentification: During a scheduled simultaneous cleaning for both daughters, only one was initially called back. After a 30-minute delay, inquiry revealed they had mistakenly called back another child with the same first name. This lapse in verifying patient identity raises significant safety concerns, especially when considering more complex procedures. * Scheduling and Service Coordination Errors: Following a combined orthodontic and dental cleaning appointment for our son, we returned home only to receive a call inquiring about his missed dental cleaning, which was supposed to have been completed during the same visit. * Difficulty with Follow-up Appointment Scheduling: We have repeatedly encountered issues securing timely follow-up orthodontic appointments. What should have been a 3-4 week interval was told to stretch to 6-7 weeks due to lack of availability. Addressing this required direct intervention from the office manager after raising concerns, highlighting a fundamental problem with scheduling capacity or management. The office manager's explanation--that patient follow-up timing shouldn't be told to patients, but rather scheduled by office staff as soon as available and that non-traditional braces doesn't effect treatment--is contradictory to the sequential nature of orthodontic care and suggests scheduling availability inappropriately influences treatment planning. Adequate scheduling blocks, particularly for case-by-case orthodontic appointments, seem necessary, and if availability is consistently limited, it points to potential staffing or space constraints, which should be addressed before accepting new patients. * Billing and Insurance Verification Issues: With only a few months remaining in our son's treatment, we discovered that our initial cost estimate was incorrect because the office failed to verify our insurance coverage as promised by the financial coordinator. They lack documentation of any such verification. Consequently, despite paying the originally quoted patient portion in full, we are now facing an additional balance. When confronted with this significant oversight, we were advised that as patients, we should have personally verified our insurance coverage rather than relying on the office's assurances and good faith estimate. In summary, while the clinical care provided by the orthodontic and dental professionals at KC Braces + Kids has been satisfactory, the consistently poor office management and administrative errors make it impossible to recommend this practice. We plan to transfer our family's care elsewhere as soon as our son's braces are removed.

My wife and I were…read morealready apprehensive to consider SCPD due to their limited days/hours of availability, not to mention the difficulty that we experienced just trying to get in touch with someone to schedule appointments in the first place. We should have gone with our gut. After booking appointments months in advance for both of our boys we ultimately ended up telling them to cancel our appointments moments before the scheduled time because of their inability to clearly communicate via text or pick up a phone to discuss their required new patient forms that we never received a link to. The chain of events went as follows. I received a text a few days prior to our visit confirming our appointment. I responded back "YES" to confirm as requested. Then I received a text saying that they emailed me a link to the new patient forms. I let them know that I had not received the email and was never responded back to. The morning of our appointments, I received another text stating that they had not received our forms yet. I texted back letting them know that I never received the email again and asked them to call me. I was told that they would call back after they were off the phone. They never returned my call and then gave me attitude when I showed up for our appointments because the forms had not been filled out yet. When I complained, in person, that no one ever picks up the phone there or calls back as they say they will, I was told that they were really busy that morning. No thanks... called another pediatric dentist that actually picked up the phone, made our appointments, emailed us a "Welcome to our practice" email with an online registration and calendar reminder about an hour after we spoke with them.

Review of Highland dental at 740 Easy Highland Phoenix AZ…read more Unfortunately this dental office is deceptive to its patients and I would suggest you stay away from them. I was a patient in this office for years when the Dentist was Dr, Scott Keith and they were a marvelous office in every way. Then he sold the practice and the new owner became deceptive to patients. I had new dental insurance and I called the office and talked with Nicole to confirm they took this insurance. My primary interest was in getting my teeth cleaned but they told me I needed to have a dental exam in conjunction with the cleaning. I asked Nicole to check with the Insurance company to be sure that the cleaning as well as the exam were going to be covered. She guaranteed me that the insurance company had assured her twice that this was the case. She did this twice on the phone and again in person when I arrived at the office. I showed up for the Appt and they took x-rays and then the dentist came in to show me a cavity. Then I was escorted to the front desk where a treatment plan was presented to me that included this cavity and. a "deep cleaning". There was going to be a charge for the "deep cleaning" of hundreds of Dollars. I asked to return to the hygienist so that she could complete the basic cleaning. I was told no. Then the hygienist finally came out and also said NO. I did not get the service I had made the appt for. To me this is the basic "bait and switch" and it is quite clear they never intended to complete the basic cleaning that I had made the appt for. and clearly intended to upsell me to a "deep cleaning" There are many dental offices in the greater Phoenix area who are honest and treat patients with respect. This is not one of them
