I had the famous company from California come, and got a price, for set up that only granted me 70% Of my Solar needs, for the same price that I got 96% of my usage from Sunshine Solar. They are the only company that is NABCEP Photovoltiac certified, in this area. I found out from other quotes, that were mis-representing themselves as providing me with 100% coverage, because they were not using these NABCEP guidelines. What an education. I even had solar companies come out and give me an erroneous quote, then call me and tell me that the docu-sign was on the email, and to sign it, AND WE DIDNT EVEN HAVE A VERBAL GO AHEAD. They did this twice, before I had to verbally tell them We Don't Have A Contract... Then, Sunshine Solar came, all was smooth, no games, accurate, easy to get along with, NO PRESSURE EVER, and we got it done. I'm producing now, and love the FAST neat work, attention to detail, and get this. They got me better panels for my 28kW system, (320w ) and then told me they obtained them cheaper, and PASSED THE SAVINGS ONTO ME. I didn't have to haggle them for a discount. I was connected to Sunshine Renewables through the Harris County "Switch Together" program which provided some extra confidence that the company was thoroughly vetted and included a robust warranty. Sunshine Renweables installed a 10.125kW roof-mounted PV system with a Tesla Powerwall 3 battery (13.5 kWh) and a Tesla Wall Connector EV charger (Level 2 EVSE), all monitored and controlled via the handy Tesla app. The company representatives were friendly and helpful, and the company handled all of the permitting and rebate steps along the way, providing guidance and links to the online forms that we needed to complete. The payments were scheduled in stages to reflect actual progress on the materials procurement and installation with a substantial percentage due after final installation, inspection, connection, and customer approval. That is the way that a reputable company does business. There were a few workmanship issues along the way, but the foreman corrected these problems promptly and the completed installation has been functioning excellently for nearly a year. Our system has generated 2/3 of our total home electrical energy consumption to date with a value of over $2000 annually (at current retail rates) which should pay for the complete system in less than 15 years, especially if electrical rates continue to rise. read more

I got my solar panels from a company that went out of business several years ago. I was having problems with my system not producing power and spent time looking for someone to come out and see what was wrong. I highly recommend Sunshine! I wanted my existing older photovoltaic system upgraded with new microinverters, but the original installer was no longer in business. After contacting several companies and getting ignored by them, Sunshine owner Jeff promptly came out and offered a very reasonable estimate.
