However, the communication during the middle phases (permitting and design) was a bit lacking, and my project manager changed midway through. Luckily my new project manager, Frank Martin, is knowledgeable and efficient and was able to get it done before the tax incentive expires at the end of 2025. So, if you aren't in a massive rush and want a Pearl Certified installer at a fair price, they are a solid choice--just stay on top of your project manager. read more

What was promised as a 90-day installation turned into an 18-month nightmare. We contracted this company for a 12 kWh solar system with two Tesla Powerwall 3 units. From the start, the project was plagued by incompetence and delays. Permits were filed incorrectly--multiple times--with basic typos and application errors that any professional should have caught. Inspections failed because they either submitted the wrong paperwork or simply didn't show up. They also damaged our electrical panel during installation and never properly fixed it. To make matters worse, they installed outdoor junction boxes with open holes exposed to rain--an obvious safety and code issue. After all of this, we were hit with surprise charges to mount the batteries, something that absolutely should have been included in the original scope of work. There was no transparency, no accountability, and no urgency to correct their mistakes. We were excited to invest in a system using Tesla products, but this installer made the entire experience exhausting and stressful. Eighteen months of delays, failed inspections, sloppy paperwork, unsafe workmanship, and unexpected charges is completely unacceptable. I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to look elsewhere. read more

I recently completed a rooftop solar installation project with Hamza Hassan at IntegrateSun that took about 7 months from the initial planning to the final activation. While I'm happy with the end result--the system appears to be functioning well, and the equipment used seems to be of high quality--getting to this point was more challenging than expected. There were several bumps along the way. A key early delay stemmed from a permit being filed under the wrong category (commercial instead of residential), which took nearly three months to sort out. There was also confusion about which property had permit fees paid, which further complicated progress. Communication was a recurring issue: I was told scheduling for deliveries and installation would be coordinated with me, but instead, I was often surprised by installers or deliveries showing up with little or no notice. Fortunately, I work from home and was generally able to accommodate, but it made the process more stressful than it needed to be. That said, the installer contracted for the work did a great job--especially navigating the challenges of a tile roof. A few tiles had to be broken during installation, but they were promptly replaced, and the workmanship was solid. Overall, I'm satisfied with the solar system itself, but I felt like I had to stay far more involved in project management than I had anticipated. With some improvements in communication and attention to detail, this could have been a much smoother experience. I hope future clients benefit from lessons learned here. read more

The following is the list of promised installation dates that have come and gone, requiring me to cancel personal plans and business obligations, all for absolutely nothing. On October 10th, I was promised an installation within a week. On October 14th, I was promised an install "this week." On October 16th, I was told it would be done by "next week at max." On October 23rd, I was promised it would be done on Monday. On October 27th I was promised it would be done by "mid this week." On October 30th, I was told it would be done by "this weekend." On November 6th, I was promised that it would definitely be installed on November 8th. Here it is November 8th and I'm being told it will tomorrow at noon. If you are counting, that is now 9 separate promised installation dates. It has become obvious that your time means absolutely nothing to this company. If my system is ever installed, I will update this review. read more

Beware of working with this company based in Texas if you are located in California, or elsewhere. I Hired IntergrateSun to install a Tesla backup PW3 battery to my solar system back on October 16, 2024. It's now seven months and counting, and it's still not fully installed. It's been one delay/excuse after another. I understand that Tesla had two-month delay in back orders, but it does not account for the over seven months and counting timeline to complete a simple battery installation. The battery is still not up and running as of May 14, 2025, which is beyond the contract's stated "Guaranteed Completion Date" of April 26, 2025. This project was to simply install a battery. Who knows how long it would have taken IntegrateSun to install solar panels and a battery. This company may be good if you live in Texas, but do yourself a favor and look elsewhere if you don't live in Texas...I sure wish I did. Also, don't hire this company (after April) if you want to get the Federal Tax credit (for those that live out of state). read more

These folks responded when I entered information on EnergySage, purported to be independent and funded by the DOE. I had one salesman call me and I couldn't understand him. His replacement has just emailed me via EnergySage but he stopped. I haven't heard from him since yesterday even though I've tried messaging him a number of times, even asking how to get the program rolling. I'm now concerned how service will be if/when needed if sales are so poor. read more

I found Integrate Sun through EnergySage and am glad I did. My Project Manager was Areej, She was a pleasure to work with and very informative about the whole process. I had a 15.12KWp size system with two Powerwall 3 installed, which included 36 REC Alpha Solar Panels. I signed the contract with them in June of 2024 and Received PTO in November of 2024. Since summer have started, I can clearly see the reduction in my PGE bill. Solar was worth it for me, and If you are also looking for Solar, I would recommend Integrate Sun. read more

I am extremely dissatisfied with this company. Communication is awful and their expertise is subpar. I started the process of having solar panels installed on my roof back in June 2025. I asked then if there would be enough time to have this project 100% complete by Dec 31, 2025. They informed me that it was not a problem and they see no reason why that can't be done. At the beginning of November I asked again if I should be concerned, and they responded with no that my project was still on track to be completed by the end of that month. It's Dec 2025 and I still have no solar panels installed. Instead I received a phone call today that I need to send them more photos of my garage with the exact location of the battery installation. I submitted photos back in June and in August their site technician took photos to provide to the engineering team. Those are the people that would know the exact location of installation as they should be the experts in this situation. Why they would be asking me for photos to submit to the city this late in the process (that they probably should have submitted in the original permit application) is beyond the scope of my knowledge. I am honestly shocked to see any reviews here of completed projects. From my experience it seems as though I am their very first customer and they have never gone through this process before. I have had solar panels installed in my previous home and did not have any of the issues that this company continues to encounter. If you are looking into solar panels for your home, look into the company called SunPro. They were great, professional, and actually knew how to submit a city permit request. read more

This is rating after 1 year of operation, Oct 2024-Oct2025. Originally a 5-star rating after 1st month as system seemed to work well. In a year the system significantly underperformed its predicted 1st year production of 7647 kWh producing 6650 kWh. The year-long timeframe rules out weather variation with underperformance 10 out of 12 months based on the NREL model, short 1 mWh for the year, or almost 15%. At mid-year I looked closely at the design specifications and found the inverters aren't capable of converting all the power the panels generate at midday, a fact I confirmed by speaking to the inverter manufacturer, who, unlike IntegrateSun, responded to inquiries. The system sizing was based on fourteen 410W panels, but the inverters have a maximum output of 300VA meaning from 10AM-2PM on sunny days panel output is clipped off leaving a quarter of the power produced on the roof- this effect is visible in the Enlighten monitoring app. The contracted 5.47kW system is only capable of producing a peak of 4.2 kW AC power due to the invertor limitations. This 1-star rating is due to both the flawed design and the unwillingness for anyone at IntegrateSun to respond to my inquiries. In April I sent production data with questions to Jay Demir, the installation project manager, in May, to Sam Altaf, the Sr. Energy Consultant who put the original design together, in June, and to the IntegrateSun operations desk. Received no response from any of them. Then in July I received a phone call from IntegrateSun asking if I would serve as a reference for them. When I explained the system production shortage, the caller said someone would get back to me - no one ever did. Once they have your money and the system is initially running, the company disappears. read more

I want to leave a thorough review because going solar can be very overwhelming. When I first decided to go solar, I used Reddit and other review platforms to learn how to approach going solar. I decided to use energysage.com as an easy tool to get various quotes and comparisons from different installers. After speaking with several companies and reviewing project proposals, I chose IntegrateSun. I worked with Sam Altaf during the consultation phase. He was very helpful in putting together the system that he believed would completely eliminate my electricity bill year round. When I did some of my own calculations and thought I could go a bit smaller, he heard me out, redesigned the system and confirmed my calculations. We opted for an 18 panel system. After accepting my proposal and proceeding with the project I worked with the project manager Shary Mahmood. Shary was nothing but professional, informative and flexible. IntegrateSun does essentially all the paperwork to receive approval from the utility company, local building codes and even HOA. During this process, Shary kept in contact and would provide necessary updates. I was never left in the dark about the status of the project. Once everything had the necessary approvals and the materials were delivered, Shary scheduled an installation date to worked for everyone. The installers were able to complete the install in one day. They had a final inspection on a different day and corrected any deficiencies. The process of going solar was overwhelming at first, but once I connected with integrateSun, everything was simplified and ran smoothly. They are genuine about helping you and also willing to hear you out. I would recommend them to anyone thinking about going solar. read more

This was my second project with Integrate Sun. last year I had solar panels installed by them. This year I chose to use them again to have additional panels installed as well as batteries. initial project design and approval went well. Unfortunately there were several delays with installation, mostly associated with procurement. Some items had supply delays. initial choice for batteries had been discontinued. Some items were in-unit ordered or wrong mode ordered. There were shipment delays. Project manager Areej Joseph tried to address these problem, keep me informed and give the project priority. Spenser Smith and his installation team did an excellent job of working around these difficulties. The many delays were very frustrating. IntegrateSun will disappoint you from the beginning. No integratedsun visit to see house and design system. They send a design package and this is what your system could look like if you hire a professional installer, my system did not. When you have question about your design they treat you as a invalid. Your told we have hundreds of these installed your system will be fine. The install design is flawed having panels facing eastside and westside on the same string. They installed the rail to the roof deck instead of the truss that the design pack indicated. After questioning this and having to argue this, they came back two weeks later and installed mounts to truss. The installers did not see why they had to do this since it is the way they always do it. When system was powered up It would not connect to WIFI or updated firmware so the technician left. Sent a email out and did not hear back from company for four days. I had to contact inverter company tech support and work for hours to get my system connected and updated. I had to get the vender to configure my system so it would work properly. I spent another 8k to get my system operating like the system I ordered. Just save yourself the anguish and select a more professional company. read more

I have had 8 solar panels for almost 4 years without any problems, when my production dropped to less than half in May 2022 I called and asked for someone to check my system out. It is Aug 2022 and I have yet to see anyone. The only response I have had is my solar edge needs to upgrade from 3G to 4G for $580. When I told them we are get fiber optics soon so don't want to spend the $580 now u get no response. I received an text message saying a man would contact me. He just said same thing and wint come check the system out. Then I got a message saying solaredge was pulling the warranty?? Going to have to contact another solar company to see what is wrong. read more

Received a visit from companies CEO today to educate us on solar power. Even though it was clear from the outset we had too many trees around our home for solar to be cost effective, he still took his time and ran all the numbers on our current bills and what it would take to make solar efficient. No smoke and mirrors. Quickly and easily showed us that it would not benefit us to go solar unless we took down lots of gorgeous trees and even then, based on our current Entergy bills, we would be lucky to break even.
