The vacuum system is excellent plus everything else needed to dry the outside and do your interior. Sometimes there is someone to shine your tires...free of charge. The staff is great and the price is right. Plus, you get a multivehicle discount. What more can you ask for? I had a question about something today and spoke on the phone with "BEE". Went to the car wash with a perfectly intact mirror. Heard a loud crack in the middle of the wash. When I was done i immediately pulled to the side and saw my mirror hanging off. They told me they will be in contact with me within the next couple days. They never called so I reached out every day after. I Don't understand how they think it's acceptable for a manager who's supposed to uphold company policies thinks it's okay to call a pregnant woman the B word in front of other customers and the employees? They do a good job cleaning your car but you probably need to set aside some time. They are incredibly slow. Usually takes 20 mins or more and that's when they are not busy. They need someone on site to expedite the workers. read more

3.5 stars / Maybe 4 stars on a good day. I went in on a Wednesday morning right when they opened. Getting there when they open is key to not having to sit so long. From vacuum to detail I was there maybe 40 minutes tops. I got package #4 which does take a little bit longer than your standard car wash package that they have. I did notice that they are lacking staff, but what place isn't now a days especially after Covid. Prior to Covid they had a full staff and to those that are regulars this is probably why there is always a wait. Really you just have to be patient. It is a full service car wash, so in my opinion you can either pay to have someone do it or do it yourself if you do not want to wait. I have always found that they do a good job on my car. Never had a problem. They have always paid attention to detail. The only downfall is they do like to leave their water bottles in your car door for some reason (see picture). If you are the type that wants someone else to clean your car for you I would give them a try. From what I can see they are pretty much the only full service car wash still in town. Arrived at 8:00am and was FIRST in line for a car wash. The friendly lady gave me the run down on specials and different car washes. I decided to get a basic detailing car wash at $65, also gave my tip ahead of time of $15. I went on to watch Bones in the waiting room and chat with the other people getting their cars washed. I was surprised to find out no one was a member. They all just came randomly. They told me all about how the place used to look and be run. That this was all NEW. We all were optimistic, looking at the cars getting cleaned and shined. We waited expectantly for our car to be called. Finally my car was called, and it looked fantastic, gleaming at me. I climbed in without inspecting the car, thanked the man and drove off, he disappeared on to the next car. I was off to the grocery store for the start of my errands. Putting my groceries into the hatchback, discovered it hadn't been vacuumed. The back of the seats had a dry, brown substance on them also. Damaged car, no accountability and terrible customer service: I went to this car was today for an interior cleaning that was quoted to take 30-40 minutes. Over an hour and a half later I asked the front desk if they could check on my Jeep Renegade since it was double the time estimate I was given. When I finally was able to go out to get my car everything looked OK at first glance although the woman that was cleaning the outside of my car looked a little nervous. I wasn't really sure what was going on but I got in the car and pulled away. As I was driving down the street I notice a crack over my speedometer and the plastic that covers it. I tried to rub at it with a cloth thinking maybe it was just some leftover cleaning fluid. I felt it with my finger and it almost felt like there was clear glue on top of a crack. (I have a 2020 Jeep Renegade that did not have any cracks in it before I brought it to the car wash.) As you can imagine I was very upset and drove back to the car wash to speak to a manager. There was a manager that came over to my car, got in demanded my keys then proceeded to accuse me of putting glue on the crack and saying that it was there before I got there. I was horrified because this woman wouldn't hear me out and there was obviously no arguing with her so I went inside and spoke to the person behind the desk. I left my information for the owner who supposedly was not there that day. I was shocked and horrified by the treatment of the manager there. I mean it's not like I have the time to go around to car washes with a new 2020 Jeep trying to scam them over a crack. I couldn't believe how rudely I was treated. I am leaving this review to warn anyone else who might be thinking of going there. Also, another detail - while I was waiting for my car I saw one of the managers come inside and tell a lady that she had a crack in her Volvo and he lead her outside to take a look. This used to be the best car wash around: excellent value, attention to detail and fun waiting room with great cards and auto related items for sale. No more. Prices have almost doubled. The windshield and steering wheel weren't completely cleaned and they took away all the humans and shopping in their waiting room. Also, no aroma cards. I liked fresh linen personally. It's one of the last places where they provide the service rather than you vacuuming yourself etc. It got the job done but this is no longer a well priced great experience. 22 dollars not including tip. I've been coming here for years. Excellent service, kind staff, thorough cleaning. Sometimes they are extra busy, that will require patience. Not everything happens instantly. They don't care about quality of work or the customer whatsoever! The quality of the washes are extremely sub par compared to when the old owners ran things! The old owners were so accommodating and never nickel and dimed you for "extra" services. But now, even to get your dash just wiped down is an "extra" charge and service! This will be my last time coming to this place! All because of the new owners and how they're running the place into the ground. There used to be a line to the street of people getting their cars washed all day and cars waiting in line before they opened....not anymore. Now you can pull up and only wait behind 1 or 2 cars max! That says something to me! I would have given it zero stars if I could! That's how disappointed I am that this staple of Clearwater that has been here for years is now this way under the new ownership and management. Response from the owner... I brought my car to sunshine car wash today as I do every month for a complete wash and clean. I paid $37 for almost everything but the detailing. I was amazed when the car came out and sat in the lot with the door open and no one wipe the car down. I noticed something odd about the mat in the back of the SUV. After paying and exiting the parking lot, I went home and took a look in the back. Lo and behold the mat was all rolled up, and nothing had been vacuumed and cleaned. Previously same situation with the tire dressing. No tire dressing was put on and it was paid for. I am done with this place and I do not recommend anyone else going and being irritated.
