Place has gone down hill fast since they split from the Dunedin location. Website is down so any changes you want to make to the account require you to drive to their office. Equipment breaks down and appears it's not maintained like in previous years. Recently changed owners one more time. My toddler granddaughters, dog and a 1k mile road trip had done a number on my car. Main Street Express offers an automatic wash and then you can vacuum out your own vehicle. The signs advertising free vacuums and window cleaning supplies caught my eye. There's a pre "bug wash station" right before the machines to pay. I pulled in and took advantage and brushed off the buggy spots. I was really impressed with how well all the bugs were removed when the whole wash process was complete. The machine really did a great job of getting my car clean, and I only bought the $10 wash. I really like the vacuum area. It's covered, which will be even nicer in the hot months. There are vacuums on each side of your car, so no wrangling vacuum hoses around or thru your car. It's posted that you have a 10 minute limit during busy times. Thankfully it wasn't busy when I went because it took me nearly 30 minutes to thoroughly vacuum my car out and clean the inside of the windows. ALWAYS SHUT DOWN WHEN I NEED A WASH. I have been a customer for 3 years and its seems like every time I desperately need a car they are closed. I pay monthly for a plan and they always get my money, but I don't always get my car washed. Wouldn't you know its always when I really need a car wash. The equipment is always broken. Today it was the hydraulic system that went out. I had to spend money at another car was before I picked up my client. Buying a wash at another car wash, when I already pay monthly for this place, how ridiculous. Needless to say this is the absolute last time im going to this car wash. Caution when going to Main Street car wash on 12855 Walsingham Road! I was told by the manager, that the same person owns many in Pinellas County. I went to Main Street carwash a week ago today. I was directed on to the track by a young man and told to put it in neutral. Approximately 15 seconds later, an older man knocked on my window and hollered at me to cut my wheel.. He redirected me and then stated that both my rims would be smashed if I had gone through the way I was positioned. Mind you, I was directed by the first man, to be in that position on the track! To make a long story short, when vacuuming the vehicle, I remembered what had transpired and checked my rims, only to find that my front rim was indeed broken. I asked to speak with the manager and his response was didn't you read our sign, "we are not liable for damage to your vehicle"! I still insisted on filling out a damage report. Main Street car wash insurance company supposedly denied the claim today. They did offer me my $10 back, but I refused. The rim is $100.00 For me, it's about the principle! read more

This was actually the worst car wash that I have been to in the area. I paid for the highest level wash. It did not manage to remove any bug remnants at all. I had to use the towels afterward and basically wash the car with all the water that was left onto from the very sub par dryers. Also noted the rinse didn't manage to rinse the soap off the back of my car. There was soap all over the bumper. In the jam of the back gate. Was the biggest waste of money I have experienced. I would have been further ahead to just go wash it myself by hand. read more

I was very impressed with the excellent customer service that I received today. I hate all of the digital displays/technology for making selections that we currently have in society. Yes I may be young but I am an old soul and like a personal touch. A very nice gentlemen, named Timothy helped me with the display to select the best wash, checking to see if I wanted wax. He didn't have to go above and beyond but he did. After working in customer facing jobs for almost 20 years, I have seen a lot and what I saw today was great! Complete scam. When I went through the McMullen Booth location (soft touch) it failed to clean my car. When I circled around and attempted to use the touch-free to finish the job I was paying a monthly charge for, it told me I would have to pay for the wash! I approved nothing, backed out and went home and finished the job by hand. Imagine my surprise when, in addition to the $37 monthly charge, they charged me an additional $10! When I called the following Monday morning, I was told it was not "Unlimited". When I pointed out their website and signup page still said unlimited, the person I was speaking with suddenly could only say "Well, we changed it" No notification, and fraudulent charges for a shoddy job. I cancelled my membership, and am awaiting a refund of the charges for services not rendered. I have a screenshot of the "Unlimited" and would be happy to provide it to prove this is nothing more than a bait and switch and a lousy carwash incapable of removing simple road dirt. read more

I am not sure if this car wash facility is related to the "Main Street Car Wash" at Largo and Clearwater locations, but this facility is really not bad at all. All though it is too far for me to drive up for a routine car wash from north Pinellas, but if I head to Indian Rock Beach, I will definitely stop by for a quick and quality car wash. The facility looks brand new and well staffed. I paid 18 dollar for a classic car wash option. I don't know a thing about how these machine cleans; the only thing I judge how efficient the machine works is to check the rear area of hubby's RV4. If the machine doesn't clean well, there will be residue or cleaning form left near license plate area. But this time, the car was cleaned and sparkling shine after the wash. There are plenty spaces for free vacuum and dry up your car. Easy access from Walsingham Road. Good car wash option if you are looking for one near that area. read more

When my husband told him no way he was backing up into a main busy road., he started screaming in his face... Yes you will. We did the Haunted Car Wash which was TERRIFIC! We got there a little early and they broke up the group between cash and cards. They opened promptly at 7PM and we were on our way! We had three 8 year olds and they were properly scared for the most part. It isn't gory which was appreciated, but suspenseful. I would recommend it for families, but 8 might be the low end of the range for kids. read more

Warning do not use this place. I was told my paint being chipped off after using them was not their responsibility because my truck is older than 4 years. Which is irrelevant if you have a brand new vehicle dealerships detailing is normally a courtesy so this place is a terrible place! I own my own company and retail products. i advise that everyone avoid the wash on Walsingham Road in Seminole. I thought I was the only one that had damage to my car caused by their obviously malfunctioning equipment but I've now seen that it's a pattern where the manager refuses to have contact even after a report is filed and when directly confronted in person refuses to cover the damages they cause and very rudely states that you enter at risk because they will not take responsibility even when it's caused by their equipment. Even told me to stop talking over him when I said there was no damage before and we had heard a very loud pop on that side when going through the wash and then immediately saw the damage. Then told me to leave. Told him I was going to post this. He replied you can't do anything to hurt us honey. His name is John and he's a very unprofessional jerk and that's being polite. Not to mention the water smells horrendous too. Had been going there since it opened but no more. Management is lacking to say the least. There are too many other choices where they actually care about quality and customers and I won't risk more damage to our cars. read more

Awful experience! Got stuck at the end of the car wash being forced to drive out of it. Leading to damage done to my car. When brought up to the managers as to what happen he stated "that did not happen at my car wash" blatantly calling me a liar. Have been to car wash multiple times and never had this problem. When reviewing the security cameras he then told me that he "could not disclose what he saw on camera." Then he continued to talk to his co-manager on the phone for 30 minutes and not telling me any updates about my situation. Final after standing in heat for 30 minutes waiting on a resolution to my problem he told me he "could not help me and took my name and number and his higher manager would give me a call within the week." It has been a week and a half, I have not received a phone call. Managers talked down to me and could not even handle the situation. Awful awful awful service!!!!! read more

Bought a monthly package for the first time. Track does need to slow down at dryers because sometimes you wash & go.. Spent 45 minutes detailing and vacuuming and you can use two hoses at once if you have help(nice feature). It would be nice if vacuum had attachment to fit into crevices and/or corners. Rags and spray are nice. Put floor mats through machine(nice feature as well). Love this concept and convenience. MAJOR ISSUE: *1st- During wash cycle could smell the rotten smelling water being used to wash the car. (The quality of the water does matter.) *2nd-ran floor mats through their machine and the next morning the rotten smelling water used to clean my mats stunk up the car something awful. I don't want to regret buying a pass but the nasty water needs to be changed as it also left bad spots on my car where I did not wipe it off. Hope they want to fix this and have long term customers. don't go there the wash broke my rear wiper off my new 2018 suv and i was told there are over 500 hundred cars that go through the wash every day and because my suv was the only one with damage it was not there wash that is the problem. so 90 dollars later i will never go back there. one i would say maybe the wash needs maintenance which is not being done. two there are other customers who had parts ripped off in this wash. three be very aware ofthe signs posted where you are distracted by trying to make sure your car is correctly lined up with the wash. it took them a week to call me back after there were told i call about 3 time. if you are looking for customer service there is none there and if you don't want extra expense don't go there. i have told over 10 people i know already and they are not going to use this wash. so to the manager lets she how long you will have over 500 cars a day. read more
