A local business said they only worked on Hunter Douglas products and might not be able to get the right parts. Then... cue drum roll... Ziegler said they would pick up the broken blind and return it the next day. Turns out, they did even better. Sean came in the specified time window - hallelujah! - after calling to say exactly when he'd arrive - double hallelujah! - and happened to have the right part with him. He had the blind fixed and working within minutes. Pricing was reasonable, and obviously the service couldn't be beat. 1000000% recommended.

The whole process was stress free. They were professional, courteous and did an excellent job. Her curtains look fantastic. (4 rooms of sheers, curtains and valances) The price was very fair for the amount of work they did and the convenience of not having to take everything down and rehang it was well worth it. My fiancé and I moved into a new home with no window treatments. We thought "hey we'll just head over to Home Depot and get some blinds, install them ourselves, then put some curtains over them or something." Until we measured our windows and found out the depth was too small to inside mount. We had the option of outside mounting blinds but we hated the idea of seeing outside mounted blinds in our open floor plan. We started looking into roller shades and Roman shades. We knew we wanted these installed in our home by someone with a much better eye to detail than we had, and experience when it comes to window treatments. We looked at 3 different window treatments companies before we found Bergen County Blinds. Company #1 gave us an ok quote, but the quality of the window treatments left a lot to be desired. Company #2, the prices were just off-the-roof crazy. Company #3 was local, gave us a good quote, and provided quality window treatments- but we were so disappointed when they kept making big mistakes. They would send us quotes excluding window treatments that we asked for, make us go back and forth to their place for swatches that they forgot to bring, and just overall confuse us. Frustrated, I decided to contact one more place- Bergen County Blinds. Michael responded to my email request through his website that day with a phone call. He provided great insight to the roller and Roman shades we wanted.. We requested a quote and scheduled a consultation. Michael was so responsive. For the consultation, he spent a lot of time with us ensuring he understood every detail of what we wanted. We chose Hunter Douglas shades for our living room/dining room, Graber Roman shades for the kitchen, and Graber blinds for bedrooms. We just felt so relieved working with Michael. It finally felt like we were in good hands. Joel came for the window treatment installations. He was awesome- so considerate to ensure it was a good time in our work day and very punctual. What a great team. We have no regrets going with Bergen County Blinds and we know we'll go with them again. We work from home and look at our windows everyday. It makes us so happy to look at our new shades and just see this extra level of care put into the home we love. My new apartment on the Upper Eastside has over-size, non-standard windows and I was really nervous about moving in without any shades. Meni was so responsive when I called; he came quickly to measure and brought great sample books; patiently helped me choose and gave me good advice, as the options felt overwhelming. The shades came quickly, the installation was painless, precise and perfect. If you work with the wrong company or an unpleasant person, these types of purchases can been frustrating and tortuous.
