Ordered shades for wall of sliding doors in September. October incorrect from factory needed reorder. Installed Nov 26,2025. Shade fell down, track dangling and broken. Was installed when I was not present. Did not see product for one month due to it being a shore property. Went to store Jan 2026 showed pictures. Manager apologies but no results. Not calling back not offering resolution when promised to assist. Very dissatisfied. Will be looking for a resolution. Product was $860 with measurements and installation. CAN I GIVE NO STARS??? In October / November 2024, shortly after we moved into our home, we had an in home consult with Jasmine Pippi. We ordered approximately $30K+ in window dressings purchased from BTG. In previous years, when we would go to stores to purchase, and I had always been happy with BTG - because no major mistakes were made! NOW, I will never return to BTG. There were a few things I was unhappy with and felt I was pushed into, which we canceled after the measurer came. Since the consult took hours, I thought she got everything correct! Regardless, I didn't complain. Now, for a professional to make such a mistake on orders! NINE windows which I had plantation shutters installed - were done incorrectly. With spring here, I went to clean our Anderson 400 series Windows and they cannot be opened due to the type of shutters Ms. Pippi ordered!!! Did she even check or ask if these where windows that could be flipped open? I would like this remedied since it was the fault of the designer in placing the order. BEYOND DISGUSTED AND DISAPPOINTED!!! As far as the technician who measured, he was great and saved me from a window disaster in my dining room and RICH the installer who was beyond fantastic. I feel Jasmine did not care and bottom line was to get you signed in and paid no matter what. read more

I dont even want to give them 1 star - totowa, NJ store - they talk about design consultants who enter your home and then never respond to any messages you send or place your order further and when you call the store - after you have already paid a deposit you are told by yet another person that the design consultants are busy - so basically they dont care about your business??? Pathetic and unproffesional - if i had time on my hands i would never go thru with my order - but i have wasted 4 weeks with blinds to go and now dont have a choice as they already took my deposit as well - terrible - their leadership team shld be working with their design consultants and staff in their stores to perhaps teach them how to work with customers if this is the business they want to be in. read more

Quality is cheap ! Customer service is horrible ...I had to have them re order end caps as wrong ones were on the shades ... then one was fraying (cheap !) then I was nice enough to pick up my. New shade (still fraying) was told by manager it's normal ????? asked if end caps were the right ones ... they weren't so I had to order correct ones , this went on for months ... I will never step foot in that store again !! Manager used her sweetness but after the third time I was done ! Don't go there !!!! Not worth what they charge ! Customer service is horrible !! Never had to jump through hoops after spending so much money and the employees don't care !!! Bought shades for entire house....told salesperson wanted motorized device on left side...told guy who measured the windows...device on left side and told the salesperson who confirmed - left side - came in - on right side....called them only to be told they only offer resolution for the problem...I was told they would put a rush on the replacement shade....more than a week later....I call to find out where is the shade....they will call me back....didn't happen...called again only to find out that the shade was in and I would have to wait to have the shade installed.....NO customer service...NO apology....I do NOT recommend them...go to 3 day blinds...maybe they will be better. read more

I recently placed an order for shades with design consultant (sales rep) Jasmine Pippi. When she was in my home I paid an $800 deposit (50% of the cost) via credit card. A day or two later I contacted her with a follow up question and it became apparent that she did not listen to a word I had said to her in our meeting and sold me something that did not meet my needs. Within three business days and before any window measurements were taken or products actually ordered, I notified her that I wanted to cancel my order and return my deposit. It has now been several days and she has not returned my multiple text messages about this issue. I spent hours calling both the phone number on my invoice associated with her store, and the 800 number for Blinds to Go and nobody answered. I have emailed the email address indicated on my invoice to cancel and request a refund and there has been no reply. I did get a hold of a human being when I called to cancel the appointment for the windows to be measured, and she informed me she could not process the refund because it had to be done through the designer (Jasmine Pippi who ignored my communications). I will never use Blinds to Go again and if you are thinking of doing so I recommend you avoid working with this designer. read more

There is obviously a clear disconnect with this company's contractors. Be aware that B2G is very quick to require a half deposit on a order only to leave you waiting for measurements (2 weeks for the initial measurement then another 3 weeks waiting for someone to remeasure). I knew there was a problem when I was told to call the contractor myself to make an appointment. You can just tell by the faces, apologies and attitudes of the workers that it is an ongoing problem due to the ease of receiving a partial refund. I'm disappointed that I couldn't get my blinds replaced after waiting so long. If its such a trouble to get someone to measure a window I can only imagine then having to make another appointment to get the blinds installed. I wish I read the reviews before I gave them a chance... I never expected this outcome from such a big company. read more

My experience with my purchase of two rooms of verticals and a mini blind for my home was an atrocious experience. My living room verticals were cut 2" too short,so now they re-cut to the proper size, My bedroom verticals were also cut 2" too short, my mini blind comes in with a bubble in it. so now they reorder the mini blind again when it comes in for the 2nd time now it has a bend in one of the blinds,so again they reorder and the 3rd mini blind comes in again with another bubble.so now disgusted and frustrated with the whole order I decide to keep the mini blind and just have them cut my bed room ones to the correct size so I don't have to deal with the rude manager and sales girl anymore. From the first moment of stepping into Blinds To Go in totowa Peryhan Mustafa was professional, personal and very friendly. She answered all my questions with ease and comfortability. I knew in an instance I wanted to do my business there and with her. Before making my final decisions I did shop around. I had visited an online store and had a representative from 3 days blinds come in. Obviously the online retailer was much cheaper than anyone and 3 day blinds was just out of my price range. I went back to Peryhan with my quotes and she worked magic and was able to get me a better price on her original quote based off what I brought back to her. Like I said earlier I knew I wanted to do my business with Peryhan and Blinds to Go based on just how Peryhan handled everything from the first interaction to the final payment being made. I'll start by saying that we've been generally pleased by our experiences with Blinds To Go. We've been able to locate the products, styles and colors we sought at prices we thought were fair (but certainly no bargain). The craftsmanship of the actual blind is good; we bought horizontal slat blinds. What their sales partners loose due to rigidity and the need for multiple repetition (due to the up-selling attempts) is somewhat balanced by their enthusiasm in providing assistance. We have had two areas of minor disappointment, neither of which would stop us from again buying here. First, Blinds To Go does no installation work-- you're at the mercy of their contractor regarding scheduling, quality and added cost. We had no significant issue with their local contractor, but were a bit miffed regarding their policies. Next, and this is the larger concern, the Blinds To Go product uses several types of fasteners and fit-and-finish pieces; they are very cheap and flimsy plastic, and fall off with everyday use of the blinds. Better engineering of these fasteners would add value to their product. read more

The absolute worst company to work with. Placed an order with this store. The sales rep told me that the installer would come twice, once to measure and once more to install. The installer never came it took multiple attempts to call the store and the installer (weeks past due) before he came and measured. Same problem with getting the installer to come and install. Then, directly after the installation they have the audacity to call me and tell me I need to pay my balance right away. Then they threatened to send me to collections. No sorry or knock off the blinds due to the delay or terrible communication with the store, just demands of fast balance payment. Will never come here again. read more

The ppl here are nice, pleasant, respectful everything you would like from a business like this. But the only problem is when I got my blinds travel all the way back home take down the old mini blind, I open the boxes and to my surprise all of the items aren't in the box. I call them up after a couple of times being on hold they ended up telling me they have my screws and pieces there at the store. I'm just upset tht after they make me waste all my gas and my time and energy that all I get is a sorry no nothing compensating or anything! Went there last Thursday and they were quick to take my $500 down payment. It took 7 days, SEVEN DAYS, for them to send someone to measure my windows and another week (estimated) for them to install. It shouldn't take 2 weeks to get blinds that cost me $1,000. I would not recommend this place until they get to their act together. read more

We went in after driving by and picked out the blinds we wanted with no issue.. it wasn't until after we ordered them where it went downhill.. first setting up the person to come measure our windows took multiple calls to the store, then the man who measured went on vacation before giving them our measurements, they told us they'd set up for ANOTHER person to come measure.. that never happened even after calling them at least 5x and always speaking to someone different at the store. Finally the initially measurer came back and gave our measurements. THEN they never processed our order.. the people at the store kept telling me they didn't know what the issue was but they'd call me back.. they never would. I'd have to call again. Lastly, after your order comes in they give you the names and numbers of the installers and YOU HAVE TO CALL EACH ONE TO CHECK THEIR AVAILABILITY!!! the install went fine once I could find one of them to do the work.. we def. won't be using blinds to go ever again. Good experience. Got what we asked for at a reasonable price. My only beef with them, is that they forgot to include the screws with the brackets to hang the blinds. Luckily, I always keep screws on hand. Very easy to hang and they are sized exactly as I specified them to be. read more

Update to my review: I received a message from a customer service manager at Blinds to Go a few weeks ago, right after posting this review. After going back and forth with customer service they ended up fixing my blinds to the correct size and made us pay only the difference in length (blinds were 8 inches too short for 3 of the blinds so we paid that difference for the 3). You immediately see that the staff hate being there, they avoid eye contact, never say thank you and never smile. The prices are higher than everywhere else. I picked up my blinds and after driving 45 minutes to get back home, the spacers were missing which meant I was unable to install the blinds. After being placed on hold for quite some time, I was told they have them at the store and could pick them up. I told the manager that she can drive the 45 minutes each way and drop them off at my house. She told me that they can send them next day delivery for me which I agreed to. All lies, they arrived 6 days later. Ended up buying stock blinds at a local store since I needed them for company. Tried to return blinds since I was not able to use them due to the fact all parts were not delivered and was told that they are a special order so I couldn't return. Everything in the store is a special order!!! Tried to dispute this with credit card company and store gave me a credit of $20. Please do yourself a favor and do not buy from Blinds to Go. Not worth the aggravation when you can buy someplace else and get a complete product that you actually paid for. read more

I think they need to improve your customer service. We bought a few blinds for our living room and bedroom a couple of years ago from Blinds to go, and came back to route 46 - Totowa NJ store for one blind that matches the originals blinds, and blind for our bathroom. Small order. We told the nice lady that helped us to place the order that we had a problem with the screws . We told her to order flat head screws this time, so the blind will click better in the bracket. She said she will add a note to our order. We told her that we have the same problem with only one of the original blinds and if she can add a pair of flat screws for that one, we would appreciate it. She said no problem. After a week, my husband called to check in on the order and asked about the screws. The pwoman that answered the phone said go and buy your screws in home depot. When we both arrived to pick up the blinds, I asked again about the screws not knowing that my husband asked for that before, and she looked at me and said: these are the only screws we have. Go and buy the flat ones in home depot. I get it, the company does not have other screws types, but there is a way to say it!!!!. She was so unprofessional and rude!!! I couldn't say a word, and we both left puzzled. My husband told me she must be the same woman that answered the phone when he called earlier. I think the employees need to show some respect and say things nicely! I don't want to have the same experience again, so I may order my future blinds online or in another store. NEVER EVER order blinds from this store. I ordered blinds on June 28 and it is August 5 and they are still not installed. I paid to have their installer measure for the blinds. His measurements were incorrect, so the first time, they did not fit the windows and had to be returned to the store. I picked them up again and 4 of the 5 blinds fit but they did not cut one of the blinds at all. I returned that blind for the second time. I picked it up a third time and it is still not cut correctly. No one ever returns my phone calls. They take days and weeks saying they have to call the installer or they have to call the cutter and the calls never get made. They misquoted installation costs. They misquoted when payment was due. I purchased in the Totowa store and the installer works out of the Huntington store and this too they never mentioned. Each time they admitted they were wrong (because I had it in writing so they had to) but they said there was nothing they could do to adjust the price to the original quote or to expedite the recutting of the blinds or to cut a new blind which would probably be quicker. And the installer, who is very nice, said that it happens all the time. Blinds have to to recut 3,4 and 5 times. NEVER SHOP HERE. Jamie, Natasha and others are all useless and have no idea what constitutes good customer service. Wish I could give this business no stars. read more
