UPDATE Blinds were installed (around my work schedule ) An hour after the guys left , I went to open them and one set fell. I was able to put it back but want another appt to make sure the installation is correct. As always, I had to deal with customer service who once again won't help. No appts this week ( but blinds that fall should be priority) no early morning or late afternoon-same unhelpful staff and no supervisors working with them. My wife and I love the set of drapes we purchased from this Blinds to Go. The look was inspired by photos in Architectural Digest. And they did a great matching that style. The fabric is great quality and they arrived crisp and folded like quality drapes should. We worked with a wonderful design specialist - Tasha and her manager, Denise at the Paramus location. Even though we came across a couple of hiccups because of a back order issue, Tasha was proactive, texting/calling us all the time to keep us up to date on the order's status. Because of Tasha's professionalism and demeanor, I always felt like they were taking care of us. Bottom line, they did a great job every step of the way. read more

I have called twice and was told they were turning this over to their Finance Department and they would call me back. Do you think I got a call NO!!!! We had two shades that are almost 15 years old and the cords snapped. I called the Paramus store (which is where we bought them) Leo and his team were fantastic. "Just bring them in and we'll take care of them". After meeting Leo and reviewing our situation, he explained the warranty and repair process. Beware of Blinds to go!! They did a HORRENDOUS job and never completed the job when I started complaining of how it didn't look right. Called and called, we were completely ignored, went online to their website to complain, they promised to look into it. Same thing, radio silence. Pls note, they will make you sign a NON REFUNDABLE "customized job" form because they know they will do a poor or incomplete job and still get paid. We spent about $5k on drapery and it looked like something we got from Temu!! Amazon looked high quality compared to what they did. Pls read reviews, don't be like me (I didn't). I am very dissatisfied with BTG because having chosen the blinds, agreed to the price and paid a deposit for half the cost after a few weeks I received a request for full payment before they would book an appointment for installation. This policy is unheard of. Consumers have to pay their account in full before receiving the goods and installation. I will never recommend this firm to anybody. She was hesitant but did so. The installer came and installed one set of two windows and told me ama mom that the other set was lost. He told US to call to see what happened. This was over 2 weeks ago. We both left several voicemails (they don't answer their phones) to no avail. Today I left another and asked for a manager. He didn't return my call either. This review is for the product as well as Emily, the store "manager". I purchased $2,500 worth of blinds that were installed late February. One of the blinds mechanism stopped working. I am a business, not a household that can survive without blinds - was told I need to take blinds down, bring to the store, wait 2-3 weeks to have them repaired OR pay $130 to have technician come, take the blinds down and put some temporary solution in place while the faulty blinds ( LESS than 3 months old) are repaired. This is unacceptable, stay away from this brand. They don't care about you, only the money. There will NOT be any adequate support once you commit. Stay away - BBB complaint has been filed - I know they are not BBB associated, but I hope people will notice. read more

If I could give this company zero stars I would. I thought it was odd that they required full payment before placing an order. Well, now I know why they do that. I got my order only to find that the curtains were not sized correctly (several inches too long) despite the fact that I paid for them to come and measure the window. The installer called the store and took everything back as they instructed. They promised to reorder. That was 2 months ago. Since then, it's been radio silence and there's been no reorder. I've called the store numerous times, got various people with various levels of sympathy for my situation, and a promise that I'd get a call back. It's becoming abundantly clear that since they have my payment in full, they feel no obligation to fulfill my order. This is the most dishonest treatment I've ever suffered at the hands of a retail store. Losing $1000 is painful, as are the many, many hours on the phone and multiple trips to the store, but hopefully others can benefit from this sad story. In short, find another company that is committed to actually providing service. Frankly I wish I'd just gone to Pottery Barn for curtains and Amazon for hardware, and gotten the curtains tailored if I cared that much about exact length. We have a bay window that needed treatment. Everything from beginning to end was great. Not knowing too much about blinds, Angelique was great and very informative. I opted for the contractor to come measure and install, well worth it! Craig was great! Customer service was very good as well. It took less than 2 weeks to receive and have my shades installed. I called and only got one of those press a button things so I ended up emailing to the address Kim C said. That too got no response. I finally did get the shades back and truthfully they don't exactly fit that great for custom. I still say they are cheap poor quality over priced window treatments and should never have cost almost 1K. I know I will never buy anything from Blinds To Go again. I've had custom window treatments before that were perfect until after 14 years the sun took it's toll on the liner and the liner was the only issue so it was time to replace them. read more

Placed an order for drapes and when the installer gets there he has the wrong blinds, someone at the factory mixed them up. Find out too that there are darker drapes - blackout drapes - that we were never told about when ordering. After the mix up, we ask that those be exchanged for darker, blackout ones that we were never told about when ordering but nope, they had already been made. If you want those, you got to purchase them at full price. Schedule another install and then call to reschedule as I have another appointment, but they don't have this reinstall on their system. They're worse than the cable companies and you have to block out a 6 hour window for the install. So if I didn't reschedule would have had to block out at least 12 hours over 2 days (basically 2 whole days) for nothing. They apparently have no one designated to handle post-sales, and have called at least 3x and only once was a terse apology offered, only after complaining. Not even any attempt for credit for a future order offered. I'll amend this star rating if they make this up before the drapes are finally installed (hopefully), but not holding my breath. read more

First time the material/fabric was wrong; second time the size wrong/during installation the handle broke and on top of everything I get phone calls/every time from the same person to go and pick up my order! Last week we lost the connection and since than no calls or finishing the work. I paid already for everything: for measurements, manufacturing and installation!? What more can I do? First call I was told they only guarantee the mechanism and to send someone out would cost approximately $87. The sales rep I spoke to did not take my info. Called 2 days later to set up an appointment and according to my address it will cost over $200 because of my proximity to NYC. I live in NJ. They charge by what your zip code is. Desiree, a sales consultant at this store, came into my new home and scratched the hardwood floors with her huge blinds-to-go bag. The wheel had gravel on it and instead of lifting it, she dragged it. Then she blamed the movers. They only lifted items and there was nothing for them to roll. Before I could even blink she ran out of the house. I was in tears. This is my first home and I was most proud of the new hardwood floors. I just got my blinds installed today. While the blinds themselves are gorgeous and the installer did a great job, this is one of the most unprofessional establishments I have dealt with. Rewind back to April, I scheduled an in home appointment for a consultation. In the beginning they were really great, even called me a day earlier because they had availability to see me earlier. After the design consultant Antoine showed me my options, I told him I would think about it and get back to him. For the record, Antoine was very nice and warm. I tried to reach this man for a week and a half to make my deposit. He never got back to me, I resorted to going to blindstogo Instagram account to get help. This is after I called the store (who said I need to go back to my design consultant), called the 1800 number (who said I need to go back to my design consultant), and emailed customer service (who said they would forward the email to my design consultant). Finally someone got back to me and told me that my design consultant was no longer working there and moved to a different state. I began working with Alicia, I explained my frustration to her and she did give me $100 off the cost due to the delay which I appreciated. I paid for the deposit and I was scheduled for an in home measuring service to get accurate measurements. The team that came were nice and professional. Now time to make final payment- again, everyone was MIA- I reached out to Alicia about four time's before someone else (I can't remember her name), called me back saying Alicia was busy so she would process my order. Order was processed, I was given a tracking number to track my order so I could know when it arrived in store. To my surprise and delight the order came in a few days early. I reached out to Alicia a few times before she finally reached out and said "I'm on vacation let's talk Monday". While I am all for self- care and vacations, there has to be a way to deal with customers if an employee is on vacation, especially considering the delay I already had, I shouldn't have to wait till an employee comes back from vacation to schedule an installation for a product that was fully paid for. I'm sure if I told them I would make payment when I came back from vacation, they wouldn't be feeling it. I took it upon myself to reach out to the store (not that Alicia gave me this guidance), and they were able to schedule an installation for today, the installation was 2 hours and everything looks great, but it was a huge pain in the ass and I'm glad I never have to deal with them again. read more

I ordered a simple shade from them. Took 2 weeks to arrive damaged. They made me send it back. Took 4 days to get back to them and another 7 days to get back to me. It came back wrinkled. It was $85. Diana in customer service does not care about customers deadlines. I lost the end clips and asked her last week on 4/6 to send a replacement. Not a peep from her cuz she just doesn't care. I just ordered blinds from Blind.com for another house project. 18 blinds with remotes. Got it in 6 days. She just lost a $17,000 order. 4/16...I got an overnight package with the clips. I purchased seven rolling blinds from this store in August 2017 and hired a 'recommended installer' to measure and install the blinds. The blinds themselves are absolutely immaculate, however the installer did not measure correctly and they did not fit. When we brought this to the attention of the installer, he forced them into place and damaged our walls and displaced our windowsill. When we brought this up to the store, they were unhelpful and unresponsive. I have never encountered such poor customer service. Today is December 2nd and the problem has still not been resolved. The installer still has our blind covers that he claimed he would fix. Blinds to go has been the worst experience for my mom. She ordered blinds and it took 4 weeks and a few phone calls to finally get someone to measure the window. 2 weeks later we find out that the amount she paid was wrong because the measurements were off. They then tell my mom she has to pick up the blinds herself even though someone else is coming to install them. When the day that the blinds are scheduled to be installed comes with a window of 12-4pm, the guy calls to say he's running behind and is likely to come between 5-6. Too bad I can't give NO STARS! An order was left on the porch of the place where I work. Problem is that the order is not ours. The address is not ours. The address isn't anyone's! The label (from Blinds to Go) is incomplete. There is partially illegible writing on a FedEx label. (That is FedEx's doing!) I called Blinds to Go to tell them about the misdelivery. They were going to call the purchaser to come and get the rather bulky package. Nothing happened. I called the next day. Nothing happened. I called an left a message to have the package picked up because I don't want to be responsible. No one returned my call. I called again, and the person on the phone suggested that I might take the package to the correct address. "It's not that far!" As if I would trust them. I am not a delivery person for Blinds to Go. I purchased blinds for 6 windows and paid for installation as well. The valances needed several repairs and now 2 blinds do not function properly with one having a frayed edge. I was told I must either uninstall them my self or PAY for their installer to come and pick them up for repair. I've already paid product and for installation.
