These guys are great! I called late on a Thursday afternoon to make an appointment to bring in my F-150 for several problems. They told me to just bring it in the next day so they can have a look at it. I dropped it off the next morning, they had a look at the truck, the owner of the business called me later that morning to explain what they found & what it was going to cost. By 4pm the truck was done and has been running fine ever since. I had the brakes replaced, all new rotors, oil change, and new belt tensioner installed. They were $150 more than what the number I had in my head, so there was no shock when they gave me the estimate. The owner is a stand up guy, great to speak with, gives it to you straight, they never tried to up sell anything to me. I'll definitely be coming back here again. This review isn't some BS made up by a friend of the business. I don't write reviews unless I'd like people to know about an extremely awful experience or an extremely good experience. Lazy liers! Called for pricing on tires and told them I would show up at 5:30 and they said ok. I show up at 5:24 for them to tell me that they're closed. I guess since it looked slow they decided to close on their own time. Smh also Google states they're open til 7pm. If you are NOT open then fix your times and don't lie to people over the phone! read more

While Ron was there everything was great. He retired and sold it to someone that was very rude and told me that the price was going to be expensive without even knowing the problem.. No longer trustworthy or reliable. Owner bragged he doesn't care what is said on Yelp. We have recommended this place to others on numerous occasions. That is no longer the case. We began taking our aging cars several years ago to Ronnie and his crew and were immediately impressed by their honesty, work, friendliness and fair prices. Matt, their long time mechanic, has always done a solid job. But the quality of service has increasingly gone down this year after hiring of a new young mechanic. We've had to take our Honda CR-V in on several occasions. Twice for the same thing that didn't get fixed right the first time. On one occasion, turns out there was a missing bolt to the brand new part that got installed a week earlier. Each time we took the car they kept it for days, including almost all of Fourth of July week. Our last visit, Ronnie had only one mechanic working the entire week, thus keeping our car in for days again for a simple repair. They replaced the broken alternator but all of a sudden our AC was not working. The same AC that was working perfectly when we brought the car in days earlier. Ronnie rudely dismissed it as just a bad coincidence and wanted to charge an extra $500 to fix it. We said no a vowed to never come back. But As we drove off, the check engine light turned on two blocks away. He dismissed it again saying it's probably just a bad connection somewhere. Not to worry. Sure enough, less than a week later, the car breaks down again. A radiator hose busted. This after Ronnie's crew replaced the radiator less than six months ago for $900. You would think they would've noticed the failing hose. We know it's time to get a new car, but his customer service has deteriorated and an old car is no excuse to be rude and dismissive. Ronnie, we are disappointed with you. We really liked you and were loyal to you for years. In return, you were nasty and ugly during our last visit and were in denial that your business is no longer the charming old school place it you used to be. Perhaps it's time to hang it up. You even said you don't care about Yelp reviews. This from the man who once said in a Miami Herald article that integrity and word of mouth was the key to his success. So for what is worth, I am not writing this bad review to hurt you, but to warn other Yelp users who might be looking for a repair shop. Good luck to you. These people are a fraud, pray on women and lie got charged 600 dollers to fix my Honda accord. They said it was the hoses that was making my car reheat, come to find out the motor was blown!!! They knew this and still charged me 600 dollers to fix a problem that they knew wasnt going to salvage the car.. Do NOT GO Here these men are liars!!! read more

The Holy Grail of Auto Repair shops is finding one that is honest, reasonably priced & highly competent. Well, lucky me--- i found Sunshine Auto Repair. My first encounter with them was when i had a nightmare situation with my old 1997 VW Cabrio. I was on the road with wife & daughter in Pompano Beach, about 25 miles from home (Hollywood) when i stopped at a gas station for some coolant as i had a leaky hose. Another customer suggested that i just put some water in the tub as i really didn't need coolant. He also noticed a MUCH more serious problem with the car: I was leaking GASOLINE from a fuel line. I didn't want to drive the car--very dangerous!!.... but the helpful guy said there were two shops very close by-- a Midas full service shop, & an European Auto Repair shop. Long story short. Neither place could help. So i called AAA & got a free tow to Sunshine Auto Repair because i remembered that a friend had told me that he had a very good experience with them. They repaired the car within 2 days: Total cost Parts & Labor a very reasonable $200. The cost at the European Auto Repair shop would have probably been twice that & with no estimate of how long i would have had to leave the car there. A week later the leaking water hose got much worse. It was a one piece monster hose with three angled branching arms....cost for just the hose from Sunshine's parts supplier was $275.!! However, Sunshine's owner took the time to search for the hose ONLINE and managed to find the exact needed hose for $125. If you're looking for an honest, highly competent shop, give Sunshine a try! read more

I had occasion to use Sunshine Auto Repair this past week. Brought the car in at 8:00. They test drove it almost immediately and came back with a diagnosis. I needed 2 wheel bearings. After lunch the car was finished and ready for pickup. Nice people, easy to deal with, reasonable price. Would recommend and repeat. read more

Brought my car in for a repair and was way overcharged. The next day the same problem happened again this time causing more damage. They refused to take any responsibility for the damage and wanted to charge me an additional $1000. I had the car towed to a different mechanic who got the parts and had it fixed in less than 3 hours. He charged me less than half of what Sunshine wanted. He also showed me some other damage they had done because they tightened a nut too tight and cracked it. The guy who owns it like to schmooze the ladies and they bring him cookies but to me he's just a good NY con man. read more

I called and a guy who was obviously frazzled and overwhelmed answered. "Sunshine"! I told him what the issues was with my car, he cut me off from speaking and said " very expensive" I asked when I could come in and he really just shoved me off. I went to another place and spent my 200.00. I all about service and feeling comfortable. First impressions horrible. I will never service my car there. read more
