The leaves when we went were green. So I missed that great fall tradition of touring the Northeast for the changing of the leaves. Do I now admit I didn't really care since I grew up in the midwest and the changing of the leaves is spectacular. I have sailed on Princess 17 times and I can say everything is top notch. With a bonus the Horizon Court food court has improved from my last trips. Rooms always kept clean, fresh linen. chocolates on the pillow every night.

The water was very choppy and the captain had to constantly move us back to our spot to get on the fish. The crew was patient and cool people to fish with. The morning and night crowd are typically the more experienced fisherman. The 2-6 pm time is more family oriented. Either way it was a great experience and will go fishing again next time in town.

My dear friend, Anna recently passed away, And her wishes were to be scattered off of Coney Island,…read morewhere she had such fond memories. From the very first time I talked to Captain Phil on the phone, he was helpful, kind, and very understanding. We set up the date and time, and he gave us clear directions on Where he is located. It was Anna's sister, anna's sister's son, and myself. We showed up A bit early, And we were able To go out early, instead of having to wait for the scheduled time. Captain Phil took us out to the boat, where we also met his partner, Captain Bob. They explained exactly what was going to be happening And then we headed out We reached the spot right off of Coney Island A few words were said, followed by a small prayer, her ashes were placed into the water, and then afterwards., We sprinkled rose petals into the ocean, we circled the area one time, and that was it. She may no longer physically be with us, but she will be in our hearts forever. Throughout the entire process Captain Phil was kind, caring, and compassionate. He Really made this a special day. Captain Phil arranged a very nice ceremony, finding the perfect spot off of Coney Island to honor my Aunt's last wishes to be laid to rest in a place where she had many wonderful memories. The service on the boat was well organized and Captain Phil handled it with dignity and care. While it is not a day you can prepare for, Captain Phil takes care to arrange a trip that honored my Aunt and her wishes. He arranged to have rose petals to scatter in the ocean after her ashes. He also took care to provide a pleasant boat ride from Canarsie to Coney Island and back.
