Attending the wave helped me discover a community of like minded people and helped me open my heart up to how are bodies are meant to be free and to move! I'm also so grateful to remember what a beautiful place we live in. We dance on the beach in December! It was wonderful to listen to such uplifting and positive energy music while watching the sunset! I got to let myself be truly free - dancing and playing in the water as much as I wanted. The headsets were comfy and the sound traveled well no matter how far into the water I went. The Music was great, I wonder if they have a Spotify play list. I loved the music especially in the last hour - it was especially moving and uplifting Overall, I can't wait to experience this again! For me, my breakthrough experience was when we tapped on our heart and dance to a beat that was similar to a heartbeat. I felt so alive as a person dancing with my feet in the water. Being in the ocean and dancing is something I haven't done since I was a kid and it's now something I'll always come back to. I'll definitely visit The Wave Silent Disco again, such an awesome experience. Also, I love how some of the proceeds go to the Alma Foundation that supports ending loneliness for our elderly population in nursing homes!

We had been to a couple of silent discos in the past and I thought it would be fun for our friends. Marty was great in the planning stages, offering some fun ideas and both Scott and Marty showed up early and had the music going when guests arrived. When the dancing started, it didn't stop for 2+ hours. DJs are everything for a party...and the music was PERFECT with a mix of everything. Our friends said it was one of the best parties ever. The directions for set up were easy to follow and the headphones were simple enough for six and seven year olds (and adjustable so they stayed on their little heads). Some of the little ones also have sensory processing challenges so each child being able to control their own music and volume made the event enjoyable for everyone. I found out about the Xanadu Life events through friends and have seen them pop up on my Facebook…read morefeed but was never able to attend an event until recently. I went to the yoga with headphones event at Pasea in Huntington Beach. It was great! Everyone puts on headphones and the yoga instructor guides you through a practice outside with an ocean view! Plus there is an awesome DJ. At this particular event there were 2 yoga instructors. I liked that they had everyone working together and trying out new yoga moves. It was great for all yoga levels. After the yoga event there was wine, dancing and vendors. The vendor selection was great! There were yoga clothes, clean eating delivery, jewelry, and farm to table delivery services. Overall, I had a great experience and I'm looking forward to trying some of the overnight trips! I was also able to meet Heidi and she is very friendly and open!
