I wandered around for hours, reading and enjoying some of the artwork in the small gallery while having a few cocktails. Service was okay and the bartenders were kind. The drinks they made were fine and some were very good, but one of the more memorable cocktails was the Manhattan Transfer, which was very strong and pleasant. I also liked The Hive. It was light, citrusy and just simple. My friends and I were surprised that everything was so reasonably priced that we ended up trying all the cocktails on the menu and a few local beers. We ended the night by picking up a few books to take back home :)

I'm so glad we checked out Game King in Fall River, because even though it seems unassuming, I am sure this is going to be the place to be once we can get back in the groove of tabletop nights! I could have spent hours here meandering around the winding aisles, chock full of hard to find comics (they even had some early releases!), tabletop figurines and paints, die of every shape, size, and color, and unique merchandise that I've only seen online for three times the price. As a huge Magic the Gathering nerd, I was delighted to browse through their wide array of Planeswalker Funko Pops, including the Nissa Revane figurine that I have been desperately trying to find! I think these went out of circulation a few years back, and the only place I've seen them was on Ebay for upwards of fifty bucks. Not so at Game King, where they were reasonably priced, and of course, it's awesome to support a great small business like this one. The clerk was friendly and very attentive - I appreciated the personalized attention, willingness to answer questions, and for lack of a better term "geek out" with me about the Magic The Gathering fandom. I look forward to playing here when it's safe to do so again. I'll be back!

We are always looking out for new tabletop game stores to check out, and happened upon this one while driving down South Main in Fall River. The place is a little messy, and seemingly disorganized. It doesn't seem to bother most of the gamers in there, or my fiance though. My neat freak self didn't like that lol. The staff seemed very nice, informative and friendly. They did have a great selection of games and collectibles, and if they don't have something, they will be able to order it for you. My fiance enjoys coming here, even to look around. I know they offer game nights and tournaments, not up my alley, but those who enjoy that would love it here! For any gamer, or someone collecting comics, this is a good place to check out if you're in the area.

Whenever I am visiting Rhode Island, I always make a trip to Ink Fish to check out their attractive book displays and, undoubtedly, get drawn in to purchase several books for my husband and me as well as the children of friends. The owner is a pretty nice guy, offers cash / credit for trades that are decently reasonable. He doesn't seem to clean or test any of the inventory, but had a scenario where a game was defective and he let me swap it for something else. One thing of note is it's only open on weekends for a handful of hours, so just plan ahead if you want to check it out. Also make sure you have cash, as they don't accept card payments. Some decent prices on most games are generally around PriceCharting (owner always doublechecks on that if he didn't mark it up yet, but will give better prices than what's on there so that's great). Worth checking out if you're in the area!

While the store is tiny and a bit cramped, the owner seems to really pack in a ton of merchandise. Lots of used DVDs for $1, CDs, nicknacks and a tidy little corner of games. Game-wise, for the most part, you'll find plenty of the typical games circulating the retro market (lots of sports and children's titles) but we did manage to find a couple gems for a very reasonable and affordable price. (Especially after checking their market prices online shortly after.) The owner was super sweet and helpful even asking what type of games we were looking for. Since she rotates her inventory often I feel like if we were frequent customers in the area, we'd score some really great finds.
