DO NOT GO!!! I am 26 yo and they pushed a mammogram on me when the doctors I've been seeing say I DID NOT NEED IT! It did more harm than good! They are money hungry and do not care about you. I have never been treated more rudely at any kind of appointment in my life than by the first tech i had. He was rude immediately and never introduced himself. I preferred not to take a second PA X-ray after the tech failed to tell me to remove my dress. I am 6 months from graduating with my MD and was happy with the X-ray that was taken, so preferred not to take another one, and was told how ridiculous I was being. I would never speak to patients or other people the way I was treated by this tech. Edited to add another star bc the chief tech, Jorge, was very nice, took the time to speak with me, and apologized for the incident. I took the lateral view with another tech Francisco who was also very nice. I was happy to pay for the imaging as well but tried to check out and they said there was no cost. So maybe this is a public service-based clinic? Which is wonderful if so. I would just encourage them to look into the behavior of the first tech. read more

Their "English" option has female employees who only speak Spanish, then I'm placed on hold and no one books my appointment. This place is really unprofessional. While I was there I was told the wait would be fast and I ended up waiting for 2 hrs for an X-ray. Another patient got very upset when she was told after 2.5 hrs of waiting that they couldn't do her X-ray!!!! This is something they should have seen the minute she gave them her Rx. My experience at Sunset Radiology was very positive. I went in for an MRI of my right new. The staff was helpful and friendly and the process was smooth. A staff member even came out with a "pastelito " for the waiting room. I highly recommend and would definitely go back but hopefully I won't need to again . read more

I had Erika and Jessica helped me at the front desk both times I came in ( once to schedule me and then for the MRI) Jessica had me fill out the paperwork to have me prepared for my actual MRI saving me time and any additional paperwork at my appt I actually had to reschedule my appointment and again Erika couldn't have been more accommodating. When I arrived had nothing but a great experience bc of Erika's helpfulness and her willingness to address all my concerns. The office experience was a super pleasant one mainly bc of the caring and wonderful friendly attitude Erika and Jessica had even while being crowded with many other patients they were so patient and so helpful. I would definitely recommend coming here. People like them make my life so much easier and more pleasant to deal with especially in the turmoil of everyday life and multiple testings I have to have done which are endless and usually time consuming and not very pleasantly memorable. The staff makes the facility and thank you to Jessica and Erika for making my experience such a positive one !!!! I had a rough time here last year after a computer router fell on my head and I needed to get an MRI. The wait time is LONG. I didn't wait for 3 hours like everyone else but it was about an hour. The man directing patients was friendly but spoke very little English. My broken Spanish was able to get me by. The procedure itself takes about 45min and it's extremely loud and uncomfortable. Something I hope to never experience again. The technician talked to me for a while and came to find out that he lives near my apartment complex and likes to sneak in and use the gym. Lovely. This was further confirmed when he came up to me at the pool a couple weeks later, sat next to me, and started hitting on me. Not cool, dude. Not cool. read more

I put off having a mammogram for years due to the pain I experienced in my last one at an Orlando facility. I received a phone call from my insurance urging me to have an updated scan done, so I booked with Sunset Radiology. The wait time was a bit long, about 45 minutes, but they offered fresh made coffee and pastries which was a kind gesture and they had tv and magazines so the wait really was not bad. The tech I saw, Noemi made the experience a great one. She took the time to position my arm, and shoulder in ways that reduced the pressure of the machine. She even explained how she used the machine different then other facilities to make the client more at ease. I would recommend Sunset Radiology based on this experience and another good experience I had last year while here for an ultrasound. read more

I recently had an MRI done at Sunset Radiology. My experience was excellent, I arrived on time at 7:30, filled out paperwork and I was called to start the procedure a few minutes after. Jorge, the tech was very profesional and helpful, since this was a first for me, I was kind of scared and concerned. He explained the procedure and brought me in. I was done in 15 min. These people are BEYOND RUDE from the initial phone call (continual disconnections after VERY long holds, sarcasm, etc.) to the visit, where two hispanic individuals went out of their way to ignore my elderly, injured mother. They snapped at her, allowed at least ten other patients in front of her- and caused her to remain outside in humidity for now 1.5 hours. I'm outraged to find, just inside door, a huge waiting room full of (all Hispanic) patients that came even after us. Marisol, in picture, stayed on her cell phone instead of acknowledging my mother (just out of knee surgery). I just witnessed a patient who came at least 45 minutes after us....already leaving!!! This is for a routine mammogram! VERY PREJUDICE ORGANIZATION!!!! The customer service here is disappointing. I've called 3 times to make an appointment. The first 2 times I was put on hold for about 10 minutes each time and then hung up on. The third time I was transferred to a different person over and over or put on hold. This happened for 15 minutes straight; I say that I'm calling to get an appointment and keep getting the same reply 'the lines are busy please hold.' I gave up. They will not notify you of this overcharging unless you realize and call to review in which they do NOT send refund checks nor CC refund, you must go to location even if you live 45 mins away- careless. If I could give no stars i would. Came for a ct scan with contrast and it took 1 hour to get called in. They finally called me in and laid me down before putting the iv in and they stabbed me 4 separate times and couldn't get the iv in saying I have bad veins. Mind you they stabbed the same vein twice and I have a great veins. One of the punctures they placed the iv and started to put fluid in and it wasn't in my vein and they put the fluid just in my arm. I came in with no appointment and it looked really busy being that all the chairs were full... I did ask the wait time and was told 2 hours for breast ultrasound however Orlando one of the male workers was moving fast meaning he was doing such an amazing job getting the patients in and out and very well organized... it took less then 30 min to have my name called I was in and out within a hour and 30 min remember this was with no appointment scheduled. Not everyone will take the time to leave a positive review however I am the one to do so when I see it's needed. My ultrasound was $100 and that's not bad since I didn't have insurance. Let me start by saying, Sunset Radiology exceeded my every expectation!! I read the negative reviews regarding wait times so I came in mentally prepared, but it was such a smooth experience from start to finish. When I entered there were two gentleman greeting patients and I was assisted by Orlando. Honestly, I can't say enough about him. He was in a positive mood, smiling, helpful, and really on top of things. I signed in and Orlando provided me with a clipboard with about 4 papers to complete. The paperwork was very straightforward and not at all tedious. When I returned the clipboard to Orlando he asked for my I.D., insurance card, and prescription. I was having a pelvic ultrasound, which requires your bladder to be full. He kindly advised me to make sure I was drinking water, which I was. I patiently waited for about 40 minutes and started feeling "full". I saw Orlando and asked him if he knew how much longer. He gave me a knowing look and quickly went to check and when he came returned he took me back for my exam. He understood and was compassionate to the fact that my bladder was full, which is not a comfortable thing, and I was so very grateful. I was then taken to a smaller waiting room and the ultrasound tech Yanara called me back immediately. She was wonderful! Polite and professional, we made some small chat while she took the images and she was very considerate of my comfort throughout the exam. I needed my results that same day for my appointment with my doctor later so when it came time to leave I stopped at the desk and spoke with one of the girls. I didn't get her name but she told me the results are read very quickly and would be ready in about an hour. I went on my way and ran some errands and exactly an hour later I returned. I approached the same girl and she had my results ready and waiting for me! Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better experience from beginning to end. I was beyond impressed. I can't believe how much this business has improved! Ramon is in the process of turning it around. I arrived at 8:00. ExplaiNed to him that I had to take a Valium before my MRI as I am claustrophobic. He said that he would get me at 9:00, and he did just that! I was out by 10:00. After reading the reviews I was skeptical. My experience was super positive I had an Brain MRI with contrast scheduled for 8:30am I arrived at around 8:00 am to fill out paperwork. Was received by a very nice gentlemen Gabe me paperwork filled out was called to pay copay. I waited maybe 10 minutes was escorted by very nice lady who did my MRI . I was truly anxious she put me at ease although Head MRI are not the funniest . Except for a moment I had in the middle of panic the radiologist settled me down and I complete the exam . I have not made any of the three appointments I've made because the staff has failed to acquire authorization. To add insult to injury, they have never informed me of their incompetence. I've had to call to confirm my appointment, and this is when I've been informed there's no authorization on file yet. It took them 1 week just to request the medical notes from the referring physician and 10 days to request authorization. Nothing was done until my call. Very rude staff answering the phones. And they all appear clueless. Worst of all...they're dishonest, claiming fault on others when they had not done their job. Ask for the manager, Tatiana, and she's never in the office.
