UPDATE (JULY 2026): To make matters worse, I just spoke directly with my insurance company to follow up on this visit. It turns out that everything Tatiana claimed in her written response was a total lie. She explicitly wrote to me claiming there was a "system outage" and that she "personally contacted" my insurance to verify my coverage and deductible details. My insurance confirmed that Sunset Radiology NEVER submitted a claim, NEVER requested authorization, and NEVER called them on that date. There was no system outage. She fabricated an entire story to cover up her front desk's failure and justify taking $250 out of pocket from a pregnant patient. I emailed Tatiana directly to confront her with the facts from my insurance company and demand a Superbill so I can submit the claim myself. To this day, she has completely ghosted me and refuses to respond to my email. This is not just incompetence; it is dishonest, predatory, and cowardly behavior from an office manager. This is a medical diagnostic imaging center in Sunset, Florida, offering services like digital mammography, ultrasound (including breast and 4D), CT scans, and Open MRI. The clinic location was a little bit confusing, there are signs though. There are plenty of chairs in the waiting room but most are filled and a lot of people waiting. Same thing happened two more times. then my call goes right to hold! At the 5th time, was able to make the appointment with someone that spoke English. Then I got a message to call back. Got through and asked for an English speaker, was put on hold and 3 times and every time I got a person that doesn't speak English and again, I get put on hold!! Seeing how there are so many recent positive reviews on google, I took them with a grain of salt along with the ones talking about the wait time. In my experience, I called to schedule an MRI appointment, told to email the order and they'd call me the next day which they didn't. 3 days later I came in to schedule and waited an hour to talk to someone to schedule for 3 weeks later. Was scheduled from 7:30am and knowing they open at 7am figured it wouldn't be a long wait, right? It's 2 hours of waiting later and they said I still have an hour and a half wait. Receptionist just provided a half smile as I voiced my complaints about the wait and my lightheartedness from fasting. Since I have a long wait ahead of me, figured I'd share my experience so far. I had a terrible experience here. After completing lengthy forms both online and in-office (each taking about 30 minutes) and fasting for 4 hours, I arrived early for my 3:30 MRI appointment. Instead of being seen, I waited until 4:45 before being told "just 8 more minutes." By 5:00, I was told it would be another 30 minutes. At that point, I had already waited 1.5 hours past my appointment time and left. This facility is extremely disorganized, overbooks patients (the waiting room was packed), and shows little respect for patients' time. I've gone to this place 3 times and I have always been treated with respect and professionalism. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful even though the place is always full. The CT tech Jorge Iduate is a phenomenal tech. He took the time to explain me the process and made sure I was comfortable through the whole procedure. He was good at getting my vein since I had to get contrast for my test. I hate needles and I didn't even feel when he poked me. Jorge really went above and beyond and made the wait worthwhile. read more

Poor customer service! I was charged as self pay when I had insurance and provided my insurance information before my schedule appointment. No one checked or verified my insurance so I paid $275 plus the 5% extra charge for using my debit card for the ultrasound and mammogram. Once I contacted my insurance company and was told the mammogram was covered and each ultrasound should have been $50 each. Just totaling $100 once I notified Sunset Radiology of the charges they told me to come back in for a refund. I went the next morning at 7am as soon as they opened and 45 minutes later Yoli the billing manager comes from the back to tell me they CANNOT refund me I need to wait for my insurance to pay them. DO NOT COME HERE! For weeks an appointment was scheduled and the day before they called VARIOUS times to confirm the appointment for the following day. When we arrived there was a "greeter" who was more rude than anything else but that was not the worst of it at all. When we checked in and were about to be called in only to be told that the tech who handles that particular scan was on vacation and HAD been on vacation for some time and therefore the scan could not be done this was after waiting over an hour to be told this. Something as basic as knowing what staff is available on a given day is the bare minimum a health facility should be able to handle. This is a complete disregard for patient care and time if they cannot handle something as simple as that I would never place my health matters with a facility like this. The staff was completely unbothered by this blatant disregard of care. This facility is completely irresponsible and ill mannered. Their behavior and operations is your typical conduct of "Miami clinics". AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read more

Did my mri here a year ago, my doc was sent the records saying that everything was normal no findings. I spent another year in pain going to two other specialists and when they see that in the mri it says normal I was dismissed. I decide to get the cd disc of the mri and the doctor I saw was apalled that they put my findings as normal when I actually had a serious problem. I could have been spared a year of pain had the radiologist done his job properly. Medical malpractice. This lack of care can kill someone. When you ask at the front desk to understand why they are running 60 minutes over they spit attitude back at you and won't even allow you to finish your question. Lots of broken English.
