I was running a lot for Marathon training and also playing soccer twice a week. The pain wouldn't go away and interfered with my active lifestyle. I had never received PT but thankfully i found Dr. Ngo to help me with my pain that wouldn't go away after weeks. He was able to help diagnose the root cause of my pain and gave a great explanation of the linkage between the mind and body. He went above and beyond to even analyze my running technique and helped me improve it. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about the sports medicine field. I felt like he treated me like a friend for each of our sessions. He has many different tools in his office that can be tailored for many different sports and information about the body. I thought it was great because he created a plan to get me back to running and stressed the importance of stretching exercises. I really appreciate the holistic healing approach even more. He also used his hands to sense inflammation and areas that were not normal. This is my gold standard for any type of PT. I have already advocated to my friends how great it was and why i recommend him. He was always there for me and is a really great person, who truly seeks to improve the lives of others.

My OB referred me to a PT in Pasadena that doesn't take insurance, so it was $250/session!! There's no way I could afford that. A friend with the same insurance as me told me about WAMOH (although she went in Torrance), and I thought I'd check it out. I have no regrets! Katie is my PT; she is so kind and easy to talk to. She taught me how to do scar massage and I can FEEL my stomach area again, thank goodness. I'm also slowly getting back to running. She's also given me other tips that help me take care of my muscles and joints while caring for my baby. For example, better ways to pick him up, etc. without hurting myself. I highly recommend this place! The staff in the front are also super friendly and fun to chat with, which isn't something I experience often. From my experience, medical office front staff are often grouchy. I love the staff at WAMOH! I feel like myself again.

The Therapists and Assistants are very dedicated to healing and incorporate treatments from a variety of disciplines (Chiropractic, Ayurvedic, etc) in pursuit of healing and strengthening the body. Dr Kevin, my original therapist, noticed something unusual during our sessions and pointed it out to my Primary Care Physician. Had he not followed through with his suspicions, I might have gone several years before my symptoms escalated to the point that they would have been obvious. I owe him a huge debt of gratitude for saving me years of physical and emotional suffering. I recently sought treatment for Tennis Elbow from Dr Jimmy DiMascio. In just under two months, he relieved the pain in the tendon through a multi-disciplinary regimen of massage, cupping, shockwave therapy, and exercise to reduce the tension in the muscles and tendons. I cannot recommend this practice enough for the quality of the staff and facilities, their professionalism and dedication to their patients.

I was waiting to write this review but my recent experience over the phone just pushed it over the edge. The front desk staff makes me feel like I am bothering them. Even checking in- come on it's part of your job!! Looking at previous reviews it seems like it has been an ongoing issue. I was overcharged on my first 2 appointments and ended up with a large credit. I was notified the therapist I was working with was leaving and the only other therapist that has experience with my issue does not have availability for a few weeks. So I wanted my credit back as a check- it showed on my insurance application that the claim was processed so I called in. I spoke to Jaden and she said that it was not sent back to them yet so they would call me back when it did. I confirmed with them that they would call me back and she said she wouldn't just leave me hanging.. Then I said thank you, bye and she proceeded to just hang up without any bye or anything. I don't know why every front desk employee seems like they are miserable working there- not sure if it is management or just all of their bad attitudes every time. Won't be returning. Please retrain the front desk!! Makes me feel uncomfortable interacting with them.

I would definitely use their services again. Amazing staff members.

He did an excellent job, and I was very pleased with the quality of his care. Unfortunately, my overall experience was overshadowed by the office staff. The receptionist, in particular, was unprofessional and spoke to me in a disrespectful manner. I found the staff to be impatient and lacking the level of courtesy and customer service that patients deserve. In any medical practice, you spend only a fraction of your time with the doctor and much more with the office staff. While I have no complaints about the doctor's work, I was not willing to continue subjecting myself to the way I was treated by his employees. I sincerely hope, for the doctor's sake and for future patients, that the staff receives additional training in professionalism, communication, and respectful customer service.
