Precision is hands down the best place to do physical therapy, and I wouldn't trust my care in anyone else's hands. The first time I came here was 16 years ago right after I had turned 13 following paralysis from a spinal surgery. They had only been open a couple of years at that time, so everything was still being built up. I will never forget the compassion and patience the physical therapists showed while helping me learn to walk again, even on the days when I wanted to give up. Eventually, I graduated from physical therapy, not knowing I'd be back 16 years later. The moment I walked in, it instantly felt like home. I was amazed to see how much they've grown, and honestly in awe of all the foot traffic that comes through now. Manjiri and Christy are phenomenal human beings, and you'd be crazy not to come here. The front desk staff always greets you with a smile and is so helpful with any questions about appointments and scheduling. All the physical therapists and assistants are amazing, and you can tell they truly love what they do which makes you want to show up, put in the work, and get better. A huge shoutout to my physical therapist, Kim, who is an absolutely incredible and kind human being. She's been working with me for a couple of months now, and I couldn't be more grateful for her. I have been going to Precision for over a year now for physical therapy to treat some gait issues. I've gone to many over the past 5 years that were full of dr's that stuck to their textbook treatment plans and only cared when I cancelled appointments. Favorite things about Precision: 1. They are a teaching facility and most of the PTs have students that bring a slightly different POV for care. I was fortunate to have some great students that were engaging and made the work fun. 2. My PT Manjiri is the absolute BESTEST EVERRRRR and took time and care for the first couple visits to understand what my body was and wasn't responding to. She LISTENED to my feedback and we made changes accordingly. 3. Parking is ample with a lot of disabled parking, no major stairs and bathrooms are easy to get to. lastly , the patients and staff make it more of a community than a clinic. I feel so lucky to have found Precision Rehabilitation for my outpatient rehab following a partial femur replacement surgery (similar to hip replacement). Working with Amanda & Kayla was great!! They are very personable with positive attitudes, knowing how to motivate but at the same time challenge their patients. I many times found myself pushing beyond what I thought I was capable of. I went from walking with a cane and a pronounced limp to ditching the cane and gaining considerably more stability/balance, leg strength, and core strength. The facilities are clean and have a lot of equipment and tools for the team to work with. I can't recommend them highly enough! IMPORTANT! Check with your insurance provider directly on the phone if Precision Rehabilitation is in your network. Blue Sheild did not have their online records updated when I was first trying to find a facility. I live in Long Beach, CA and their search records showed the nearest in-network rehab facilities as being 30+ miles away! But after asking specifically if Precision Rehabilitation was in-network, they were able to confirm it easily. read more

I have been to many rehabs and this is the only one that I looked forward to visiting. The front desk staff is very professional and friendly and they know who you are every time you return. The therapy staff is also very professional and friendly. My therapists, Amanda and Zan, were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. Their expertise and recommendations are the reason my sciatic pain has lessened and the exercises they've shown me to keep it at bay works like a charm. Manjiri has provided me with detailed attention to my physical therapy needs. My therapy plan was was JUST FOR ME, as it should be. I did not feel like I was receiving a 'canned' approach to my therapy. ALL PERSONALLY designed for ME. I had balance issues, lack of motivation to start my body moving, and dizziness. I now have speech therapy on board to close the gap to my recovery. My Neurologist referred to Precision and I am so grateful for the experience as I continue my recovery. I suffered a Traumatic Brain injury which resulted in brain surgery to remove blood clot and stop bleeding. Speech therapy has presented me with some recovery skills I did not know was part of speech therapy. ALL has been beneficial for my physical, cognitive, and emotional recovery. After ankle surgery due to a soccer related injury (May 2024), I checked out this place to help me recover more efficiently and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. My therapist Amanda did an exceptional job helping me throughout the 4ish months that I have been going to PT. She did an amazing job at adapting her exercises based off my limitations and teaching me about my body to avoid any future injuries. I went here for help with my balance. My therapist, Amanda, was great. She established my baseline, and taught me exercises to improve . After a few sessions I have improved my ability and this has helped my activities , self confidence in doing them, and my safety. Now I will continue with a home program. The clinic is very professionally run, the staff are kind and friendly, the facility is bright, well-equipped, and clean. Having had physical therapy previously and been disappointed, I wanted to make sure that I would be assigned to the same therapist twice each week so that there would be continuity. It never happened. In all I attended five sessions including the initial assessment. During that entire time we covered four exercises. FOUR! That's it. Upon conclusion the therapist Melanie told me that she would keep the rest for the future in case I wanted to come back. She then also told me that she had met me previously -- 7 years to be exact which was true. She also added that I looked like I had lost considerable weight and in particular muscle mass and that I wasn't looking so good. Melanie can be very controlling and naturally she is right about everything. She's a smooth talker and it can be difficult to realize that she is so manipulative. After being discharged from hospital care following a hemorrhagic stroke, I had trouble finding a rehab facility that was adept at handling neurological problems, until I discovered Precision Rehabilitation. There, I have encountered skilled Physical and Occupational Therapists who are hard working, encouraging, and totally invested in my progress. There are periodic evaluations that give me objective measurements of my improvement and, as I see my progress in hard numbers, I gain hope for overcoming the effects of my stroke. The facility is the best equipped I have encountered (including the hospitali setting I was in for the first month after the stroke). I threw out my back and was confined to the couch for about 2 weeks. A neighbor told me about Precision Rehabilitation and I'm so glad I made the call. Manjiri, Kim and the entire team have been absolutely wonderful! I "walked" in and I think everyone could see the pain and despair on my face. She tailored the right plan for my specific physical issue, challenged me while also ensuring I did not aggravate my injury, and sent me home with exercises and knowledge to help continued improvement. I've been to many physical and occupational therapists due to a stroke that was the result of brain cancer, brain infection, and brain bleed and Precision Rehabilitation is hands down the best of the best place to go for physical and occupational therapy. I had physical issues from my stroke that I never thought was possible to ever get better. I am a runner, a surfer, and a snowboarder but my balance suffered greatly and my toes would drag when walking. My amazing physical therapist Joyce has helped correct my toe drag completely and all of my other physical issues are getting better every week. I also lost the use of my left hand and never thought I'd be able to live a normal life again. My amazing occupational therapist Claire has helped me realize that I can do a lot of things I didn't think I could do, I just have to figure out a way to do them with a disabled hand. I'm now swimming again, lifting weights again, changing my baby's diapers, and even starting to play guitar again! My whole outlook on life has changed thanks to Joyce and Claire. My initial attitude was that there was nothing they could do for me and I'd never get back to normal. I use to be down because of everything I lost the ability to do, but now I'm on top of the world about everything they have given back to me! If you require any kind of physical therapy, no matter how big or small, you NEED to go to Precision Rehabilitation!! They don't just help with your physical issues, they go above and beyond to make your help your body, mind and soul be as physically and mentally able to be as good as it they are fully capable of being !!! read more

I highly recommend doing significant amount of research before visiting this place. I have a knee injury and they specifically stated they cannot treat problems to the knees. I'm not sure exactly what the physical therapy office will be able to do beyond knees I would guess maybe shoulders only and maybe lower back but the new seem to be a common problem for a lot of people. This place states they specialize in physical therapy but they lack this huge element. Please be cautious before picking this place since they have Shirley waste of my time read more

Being the first transgender client at this facility was a surprise but Angela really eased my anxiety and knew what she was doing. I plan on meeting with her weekly and eventually bi-weekly to assess my voice therapy. She made me feel comfortable and gave me hope. After her initial evaluation, this place felt like a great fit. Manjiri and her team are fabulous and we can already see a lot of forward progress in a short time. But as wonderful and knowledgeable as the therapists are, I can't say enough about the front staff. Those ladies are amazing!! They are so accommodating in helping with insurance questions and figuring out scheduling conflicts. I bug those ladies a lot and they never make me feel like I'm a nuisance. We found Precision Rehab while going through a stressful, scary time in our lives and the whole staff provided the calm and hope we needed to get my daughter on the road to a full recovery. I have been blessed with many experts from many fields as I have gone through and rehabilitated from surgery for a tumor in my spinal cord. None of them have helped me more than Precision Rehabilitation. I started therapy at Precision Rehabilitation in October 2010 and have taken 3 sessions a week most weeks since then. The facility itself is well equipped and designed. An open gym allows PTs to work with patients while keeping an eye on many of us who double or triple out workout time with independent work on strength machines, aerobic machines, electric stimulation bikes, and elevated stretching mats. The staff includes PTs with specialization in neurological injuries primarily, but I'd very confidently recommend orthopedic rehab patients to Precision Rehabilitation as well. Most took doctorates at USC; Precision maintains an active clinical relationship with USC, Many 4th year USC doctoral program interns team with Precision staff. Long Beach State and some other area universities also collaborate with Precision. Precision has a culture of collaboration. Patients and their families are integrated into planning their rehab and practicing their skills at home on their own. I have worked with Christy Malonzo and Ziad Dahdul primarily. While I think the world of both of them, I should not recommend them to you ahead of their colleagues at Precision just because I know them best. Over the many months I have been rehabbing, I have had sessions with all the staff and interns. Every single member of the professional team is a remarkable professional. Their expertise and professionalism is such that I would be blessed to work with any member of the Precision Rehabilitation team. The collaborative culture knits all the staff together, so that each patient is personally and professionally well known to each Precision Rehabilitation staff member. Each PT is supported by the advice and expertise of the entire Precision Rehabilitation team. I have progressed from a wheel chair bound paraplegic to walking in and out of stores on crutches, driving with hand controls and practicing with a cane. I recently performed in a community theater production, something I never imagined would be possible again when I came out of surgery in September 2010 barely able to wiggle my toes. Our benevolent God and my courageous wife have brought me to my feet. Precision Rehabilitation has given me my first steps. read more

This place is AMAZING and the staff is so nice I have a illness called NMO that makes the body attack itself so I have to learn how to walk all over again and how to use my muscle and therapist here have been so great with helping me strengthen my muscles and have gotten me up in a walker walking again.
