Dr. Victor Kriscuinas is the best! A primary doctor who genuinely gets to know the patient, cares about their well being, is kind and compassionate. After seeing many specialists over a period of years, we discovered that I had a condition that is not well known. Others with my condition complain of doctors not believing it's an actual condition; insurance companies have yet to give it a diagnostic code. Dr. Kriscuinas didn't dismiss it; instead he did his own research and confirmed my situation. He has referred me to the few doctors who are educated in this area, supports the surgery and therapy plan they recommended, and provides me with the referrals and letters to my insurance company that are often needed. This is no "drive by" service; Dr. K. Is engaged and committed to my well being. Again, blessed to have him on my side and advocating on my behalf. His assistant, Lisa, has the same level of professionalism, dedication to patient well being, and compassion. Often Lisa is the one who has to run liaison for my needs. She is always responsive, and there have been times she has jumped tall buildings to get things done! Lisa is always cheerful, encouraging and shows genuine interest in me as a patient. While the staff doesn't always portray this same level service, it doesn't affect my rating. I know they are dealing with the phone calls, scheduling, insurance, and so I just give grace. The most important interaction and relationship is with my doctor, not the receptionist and office staff, and I will stay with Dr. Kriscuinas until the day he retires. He has been my primary for 18 years and I have never received the level of care and support from any other primary. I've recommended Dr. Kriscuinas to several friends and they have all had the same experience and have been with him for years. read more

This was a great practice before Dr. Kriscuinas retired. His replacement Dr. Bak, made me feel like she was trying to generate money for the practice by ordering extra tests, among other things. I don't trust her! read more

Dr Heena Doshi has been my doctor for many years, but I am about out of my mind with her and am so done. She doesn't listen to me and doesn't help me with symptoms I'm having. I'm becoming more and more disabled and she's doing nothing about it. read more

Well I am a new patient here and can only give a review for the last 2 months of going here. First appointment went ok, the staff looked depressed like they hated their job and didn't want to be there. This carried over into coming across as not giving a crap about a new patient. They also require new patients to come in fill out everything and wait a month before being "approved". The first doctor visit was a joke, I went in for a physical which consisted of him asking a few questions. Since when are physicals completely verbal? Easy money for the doctor there..... My second visit was to come to the office for a blood draw for a cholesterol panel. I'd like to mention here that at every point of contact between staff, billing, and the doctor I received a verbal confirmation that EVERYTHING completed would be billed as "Routine/Preventative". After my blood draw and about a week later I received the results which were informative and thorough (The gal who explained the results was very sweet and kind fyi). Now the fun part, I receive the bill/statement from my insurance. 3 of 5 blood tests were not billed as Routine/Preventative in turn costing me. When I called billing, the gal was instantly defensive and said that tests sometimes require new tests to be done and the customer is charged for it. I asked if it is common practice to not check or ask the patient prior to new tests and costs being introduced? She then went on to state that it's not her problem and not her job to discuss ethics with how the billing is done (with an attitude all over her voice. Maybe that is true but you have one hell of an attitude, which makes you and your company look like crap! I don't understand how someone can say "Yes, all tests will be billed as routine/preventative" and turn around and change your mind and add new tests without checking with the patient and oh by the way you have to pay for these..... Time to find a new doctor..... read more

I've been coming here for over 5 years, and it has really, really gone downhill. And fast. At first, I was very happy: Dr. Harold Barry was a patient's kind of doctor. He was not a big fan of health insurance companies, nor corporate healthcare providers. Definitely Old School. Anyhow, at first Dr. Barry retired, and then Providence bought out Cedar Mill Health Clinic. Now, my doctor, Dr. Krisciunas is not a bad doctor by any means. However, he's clearly lost the autonomy he once had, as the office Medical Director now makes all of his decisions for him. To me, that's not looking out for the patient's best interests. If you have the opportunity to find an independent clinic elsewhere, that would be my recommendation. read more

What kind of professionals talk bad about their patients? Before my doctor came in I heard whispering from the medical assistant and my doctor outside my door. They were talking poorly about me due to my medical needs, not knowing I heard every word. Also my boyfriend experienced similar behavior while waiting for me in the waiting room. The receptionists would talk poorly as well about people checking in! Other than Dr. Williams and the lab, everybody I've encountered here are unpleasant. Every time I leave this clinic I leave angry, and today I've had enough. I will never return and I suggest you stay away as well. read more

This place doesn't even deserve one star. I came here with an issue, forked out a couple hundred dollars and nothing. No follow up or information regarding my procedure. Julia Garcia, MD is one of the worst physicians I've ever encountered. Not personable and just didn't seem to care a whole lot about my visit. Dr. Barry is my G.P. he's amazing. He actually takes the time to go over my concerns, and options. He actually cares, remembers what has happened in my life, past concerns, etc. Seriously, the best doctor I've had and one of the most knowledgeable. read more

Definitely deserve a zero rating. I am getting a bill from 2 years ago with no explanation. I have called, emailed and sent requests; all ignored. A terribly unorganized office with horrible business practices. The way the business is run should warn you the caliber of the care. read more

I have had nothing but bad experiences here. Most of the staff I've interacted with here have been difficult and rude, both in the office and over the phone. When I call and leave a message it doesn't get returned. When I call later in the week to ask again, I get attitude. When I'm in the office, no one (except a receptionist named Jennifer and one of the medical assistants) is friendly or welcoming. Even though there are two pleasant people I've encountered, I do not feel like anyone there cared about my medical needs or my wellbeing as a person. read more

I wish I could give a lesser rating. This is by far the worst Doctor's office I've ever been a part of. I come in basically only to get a prescription refill and to see a Doctor who's nice enough but definitely nothing to write home about. Once I showed up for an appointment booked on a Saturday and no one was even there. They basically forgot about my appointment and no one to get a hold of on Saturday. The place was just closed entirely. The worst of it all is the lack of professionalism experienced especially with the billing department. There apparently was an issue with my insurance when they went to bill it. I called three separate times to have resolved after never getting any followups and assumption that I was good to go. I got a call from a collection saying my $154 bill was going through them now. I called sunset back to speak to the billing department about the issue once again and Kathy rudely in an ultra aggressive tone informed me that I needed to call my insurer to figure it out after never relaying this to me previously. I asked if it's someone's job to call me to resolve these issues and she said "I don't know if that's someone's job". The worst service I've ever received from a professional office in my entire life. Don't recommend what so ever. read more

First of all, I don't frequent this practice very much and have always been able to get in very quickly. That is the only reason I see my doctor here. That being said i will now find another location. Was very disappointed that i had to renew a blood pressure prescription and told them. My Dr is Patrick Williams and he is an average doctor at best. I feel like my charges/co-pay was totally misrepresented. There is no transparency on billing. Make sure you know what your charges are going to be. Don't be afraid to ask. My 5-10 min visit with the doctor was $176.00, to get a prescription filled...The bill showed up in the mail after I was told there was no co-pay. I was very upset and went back to the office and tried to get a resolution and was pretty much told I could 'stick it'...Terrible attitude even though i told them they would lose a patient. They didn't care. Now looking for a medical office that is more concerned with patients instead of $$$. read more

I've been going here for years. I really like my doctor (Krisciunas) but I have to say dealing with the front desk is horrible! I think they continue to cut costs, and the service has really gone downhill. I just tried to call to make an appointment, and was put on hold for 19 minutes, only to get a recorded message that they couldn't take my call now. I did like the facility. Lots of room in the waiting area. Doctor seems genuine and helpful although the medical assistant has messed up my information at the pharmacy I go to, so had to call, wait and call again just to straighten out her mistake. No apologies offered at all. read more

I started seeing Dr Barry in 2012, he's great, my favorite doctor ever. He diagnosed me with an autoimmune disease that other doctors overlooked. I like having everything in one place as far as testing goes, it's really convenient, but I've had some annoying experiences with some of the staff there, being rude and arguing with me. I feel like you have to go in too often, for things that could be done over the phone or via email, which might just be the clinic management trying to get more money out of patients. read more

Average cost of spirometry test is $42 according to Helath Care Blue Book. They charged $152 to insurance and I ended up paying $125 for this. Not happy about ripping patients. read more

I had an awful experience with this clinic. Dr. Garcia forgot I was in the room...for 30 minutes..I walked out so annoyed and she was just standing there at her Dr. station and said "Oh, you're still here?" Obviously...I was a new patient and she told me to stay there. Also, one of the first things she said was "You're pregnant," after seeing bumps on my arm I came to get looked at. She didn't ask, she TOLD me....that's not something you do. She made me go take a test..and I'm not pregnant. You don't assure somebody they are pregnant, especially on the first visit. I was not okay with her. But still, I was less than impressed with her and her service. She rushed through the appointment, and I didn't feel like any of my questions were answered and I wasn't satisfied. Never going back, that's for sure. Awful, awful experience. read more

I have only been to this practice twice and really like my doctor. He seems to care about his patience. However, having to call into the office and dealing with the nursing staff has been difficult. After my yearly physical, I received a message about some blood work and was requested to call in and ask for one of the registered nurses. I was on hold for over ten minutes before I talked to someone in the office, who proceeded to put me back on hold to talk to a nurse. When I finally talked to the nurse, I had a lot of questions about more exams she claimed the doctor wanted me to complete. Her answers reflected a "one size fits all" philosophy in medical care and the more I asked questions, the more irritated and defensive she became. She ended the conversation ubruptly with "come in and take the tests or don't," instead of trying to answer my questions. I'm not ready to give up on them yet; but the service needs to get better and the staff needs some training in patient empathy. read more
