West Coast Insulation's quote was lower than the others by a few thousand dollars. Having known that are a long time established Ft. Myers company, we weren't concerned. On a mid-size project with approximately 19 attics, they had insulation all over the place, did not clean up after themselves, and left condensate pans next to air handlers filled with insulation. I called RDS Air Conditioning and asked for an estimate for specific work needed and was informed…read morethey had to come to my home to evaluate my ac before giving an estimate, at no cost. I received an email with the date/time/ free estimate written in email. I called to reschedule the date and I was told there was no appt scheduled and they do not give free estimates. I was told its a $200 fee to come out for an estimate and this will not apply to any work done by them. The worst part is I forwarded their e-mail back to them because I felt I needed to prove they scheduled an appt with me and it quoted "free estimate" on their email. The reply I got back, "This email came from our call center and we do not give free estimates." Wow! Not even an apology for their own call center giving incorrect information. I at least expected a manager to call me to discuss this. The cost they charge is actually excessive when I checked comps and most companies at least apply it to the final bill. If thinking of using RDS the customer service is definitely lacking professionalism.

Certified Heating and Cooling,Inc. $$$…read moreSERVICE REQUESTED: I have an annual agreement with this office, and it has been a great value. A few weeks ago my upstairs A/C was being examined at the start of its semi-annual checkup. The associate notified me that the air handler in the attic was dropping its insulation from within, and this would create a problem with continuing the standard semi-annual checkup. This necessitated scheduling an associate on a different day to basically rebuild the air handler. Understandably this was a long project through the day but was completed to our satisfaction. QUALITY: The different associates whom we have seen over a long period of time have been exceptionally professional and courteous. VALUE: Everyone decides what they describe as value. For us it's the confidence that our A/C units will work through the summer and winter year after year. Having a service agreement gives us that peace of mind. SUMMARY: These people have demonstrated exceptional courtesy (every phone call is a new pleasant greeting, every time). One has to have trust in the service people with whom they do business. For me, these people are very highly recommended.

Strangely, HomeAdvisor, after calling to verify my bad review, never placed it. All 20 reviews on their site for these people are very favorable. Makes me wonder. September 2021 Cape Coral , Florida…read more I moved to Hurricane country ( Florida ) last year and purchased a single family home ... 3 Bedrooms ... 2 Baths etc The thought occurred to me that I would need to secure my new home against hurricane force winds should One occur while I'm in residence. Most Floridians have metal shutters that they place over their windows when a hurricane is expected. That requires running around like a chicken with it's head cut off while placing the shutters over every window in the home. All this , sometimes under stormy weather conditions. That thought ( running around like a chicken ) did not appeal to me. So, I contacted Storm Solutions and arranged to have a price quoted for a complete set of Hurricane resistant impact Windows installed on my home. A price was agreed upon which also included a new side door to the garage AND an Accordion Shutter to protect my Lanai. Lucas and Jesus were in charge of installing the windows while Blake installed the Accordion Shutters on my Lanai. All of the work was performed in a professional manner with great attention to detail. The actual Instal required about 4 days. There was a 2 month wait however for the custom windows to be constructed. After the Instal a 2 man crew arrived to finish the job by covering over the screws in the newly installed windows. Mark and Ken did a nice job on the finishing touches. The house is now afforded hurricane protection without using unsightly metal shutters over the windows. I would recommend Storm Solutions for any hurricane protection needs desired to protect your home. The customer service provided by Storm Solutions was also excellent. I might add however , hurricane impact Windows are more costly than shutters , but the impact Windows provide a better "look". Photos to follow ...
