My dogs are always so happy and excited to go to get "hair brush" at Sunset. The prices are reasonable, too.

Duck Buster Kennels

If I had done my research on Duck Buster Kennels and the owners prior to making a committment to a…read moreSummer spent there, I would've never gone there. I'm sharing my factual and truthful experience in hopes that others won't be hurt, dogs getting sick and puppies dying. The following I would pass a polygragh test on every line item. If anyone, like K.R. that placed a negative review regarding this business on Yelp, reads this and desires to reach out to me, please do at jana@loveslabradors.net. Dear K.R. I felt so sorry for you on that day you picked up Gus. I was the lady that was there with tears running down her cheeks getting your dog for you at Duck Buster Kennels in Emmett, Idaho.. I was told on the phone by Louise to not inform you at all in what was going on with a threatening voice from her. #6 pup had just died in my arms from Parvo 30 minutes prior to you showing up at their place. When I heard you outside and calling out, I realized once again I was the only one there. The last thing I wanted to be doing then was to be dealing with one of their boarding dogs. There has been a long investigation going on by both Animal Control in Emmett, Captain Dave Timony and Investigator McIntosh with the Sheriff's Dept. I wish I had looked them up on Google prior to going out to their place for the Summer. I would've seen negative comments on refugeforums.com that there were history of past diseases killing litters of pups and Danny not taking on any accountability. Anyone questioning this, feel free to look up on refugeforums.com and place into search Duck Busters Idaho and you will see comments telling people to run the other way and the reasons why. In April 2017, I made a deal with Danny that I could come there for the Summer. We would work out the work in trade deal once I got there. In the beginning I was training with him and having some laughs. After a month I had bred 5 of my girls there and as well, made a deal to handle the cleaning of the kennel runs while residing there and living in an apartment next to kennels to use as a whelping room. Danny knew I was heading there to handle breeding some of my girls and handle a few litters while residing there thru the Summer til Sept. Thank God I took over the cleaning of the kennels. They were filthy and they did not believe in sanitizing everyday, every wash, or at all. Danny said he weekly would bleach the water buckets but that was it. I saw to it that everyday they were sanitized. I've included photos of the wash out from the pens that would collect to the sides of the pens and just sit there! In August, the amount of flies from the sitting poop was immense! End of May there was an outbreak of a canine influenza. Cough with many and then @6 of them had it so bad it turned into pneumomia like symptoms with fluid in lungs and temps. I would take that as one of the Canine Influenzas and not just Bordatella. They didn't inform anyone around them including boarders there was an outbreak there. Mid June a few of my young pups came down with Parvo. They said I was lying they had Parvo and I went to their Vet. Louise was sitting there when she heard her Vet say it was Parvo. They should've informed me ahead of time they had diseases there before and lost litters there before. They did not disclose this to me prior to me going to their kennel and for a Summer spent there. But I saw them not disclose issues to the boarders and most around them. They acted like it was no big deal in what I was going thru. He went to competitions and training with other people after his dogs on truck, trailer and kennel were exposed to the Parvo. Danny also would allow the dogs on the truck suffer to the heat 24/7 when it as 95 to 110 degrees outside. Beware everyone! These people are liars!! Look up on refugeforums.com and see the reviews there that others had lost a litter of pups and no accountability from Danny. The crowd that works there are WORKING prostitutes, recovering druggies and people heavily affiliated with a local gang. If asked to go thru a polygragh test, I would pass.

He has been training proffesionally for 21 years and his dogs show what an amazing trainer he is. I would give them 10 stars if I could! I will always recommend them and wouldnt send my dog anywhere else!
