We found the Say I Do to Details team online and I was highly impressed by their good reviews. Their planning exceeded my expectations. From being always available, to providing suggestions and insight into timeline, and coordinating everything so well the day of, their team is simply the best. I admire their passion for planning and it was so incredible working with them. I worked with Paola and Sandra directly and Sandra was there day of. Paola and Sandra are very experienced, professional, and kind. Both were actively involved in the planning process. I'm extremely type A and it's hard for me to trust people to take over (especially when I knew it was one of the most important days in my life) and take on tasks, but I trusted them 100%. To start off, they have a lot of experience working at Terannea, which made things a lot easier for us and helped things run smoothly. Moreover, the vendors I selected knew of Paola and Sandra and their team and I admired their good reputation in the wedding industry. Knowing what I know now, it would have been easier for me to have hired them as full on planning instead of day of coordination just because they're so good at what they do that I really trust every decision they make. I keep getting comments from my family and friends that the wedding was one of the best they've been to. Moreover I've received many comments specifically from my bridal party and close family about the incredible planning team keeping the day so smooth and on track. There's a trend on social media about "wedding regrets" and my husband and I keep saying to eachother thankfully that we have zero regrets. Every vendor was amazing and the planning team really went above and beyond what was asked of them and for that I'm forever grateful. I appreciate that the team asked us what 3 things were important to us on our day. 1. our guests have an amazing time 2. the timeline runs smoothly 3. to have fun That's exactly what happened! I am grateful that I was not stressed the day of and we are so happy we found Sandra and Paola as they helped turn my dream wedding into a reality. The wedding went even better than I could have imagined and I can say without a doubt that it would not have gone so perfectly without Sandra and Paola with Say I Do to Details. I will 100% contact them to help plan any party I have in the future. Choose them for your planning team- you won't regret it!

She guided us every step of the way, kept us on schedule, and made sure every detail was executed perfectly. I-Jou is truly amazing at what she does and helped bring our vision to life. She is incredibly thoughtful and made sure we were well taken care of every step of the way. During our welcome photos, we were sweating, and she continuously checked in on us, bringing water and drinks and even saving appetizers from cocktail hour while we were busy with photos. When we were at our sweetheart table, she went to grab us drinks from the bar and even brought us desserts from our dessert bar! I-Jou knew the right questions to ask and overall we felt well supported throughout the whole wedding planning process up until the end of our wedding day. Because of her, I was able to truly be present and enjoy my wedding day without a single ounce of stress! Which is very rare for me because I am an overthinker and stress over the little things. She was incredibly detail oriented, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making sure our day was perfect. My husband and I are so beyond grateful for her and cannot recommend her enough!

We started planning in late 2019 for an October 2020 wedding, but we all know how that story ended. She worked tirelessly to make sure every single detail was perfect and exactly as we wanted it to be. She also offered her own personal, creative touches, many of which we used in our wedding design. Jenny was there for us at every venue tour and every vendor meeting to support and guide us through the complex and sometimes overwhelming process of planning a modern wedding. She even sent a beautiful gift to our house on our originally planned wedding date to cheer us up! It was a lot to take in early on, but having such a comprehensive, organized outline was such a relief. Jen walked us through every piece of it, which made the whole process feel so much more manageable. Throughout the planning phase, Jen was consistently available whenever we needed her. As our wedding date got closer and we started meeting more frequently to nail down the details, her experience really shone through. That insider knowledge was invaluable! On the day itself, everything came together incredibly smoothly, thanks to Jen and her team working their magic behind the scenes. Unfortunately, I was not able to have the Forever & Always Wedding that I dreamed of. Although…read moreHeather communicated very well, there were a couple of incidents that I found slightly unprofessional: 1. I signed a contract with one of her staff as my wedding planner. Unfortunately, from my understanding, there were unexpected changes in the company, so Heather had to take over. However, Heather responded that she would make an exception for me and not charge me an additional $1000 for this change. With all due respect, I should not be financially penalized for changes that an owner experiences; especially since I already signed the contract that I financially agreed to. 2. I encountered a lot of life changes that disrupted my ability to move forward with a wedding that my brothers were supposed to be in. For instance, I had a depressed, suicidal brother, I had another brother leave for Japan for the Marines, and I had an uncle pass away. All vendors except for Heather were so kind to fully refund my deposits due to the situation. Unfortunately, Heather responded that she was still a businesswoman and was financially hurting, so she was in no place to offer a full refund. I basically paid Heather almost $500 to establish a simple contract. I already had all the vendors in place and organized, so this deposit was for nothing. Heather should not be held responsible for unexpected circumstances, but this wedding meant a lot to me. As a business owner, you should be able to compromise with your clients based on their situation. I could have easily used that deposit to help my family for the funeral. I find this situation absurd because I never wanted a wedding planner to begin with. Our wedding list was only 32 guests, but my fiancé insisted that we hire a planner because he did not want me to stress out. I admire him for caring, but this wedding was going to be a private and intimate event with very little management. I blame myself for hiring a wedding planner when I did not need one. It is unfortunate that Heather was thinking like a businesswoman and not a human being with empathy. Nonetheless, please make sure to ask about the refund policy for emergencies such as death, health, etc. Two stars are for her communication, but I can only evaluate Heather based on my experience with her before the wedding date. Therefore, I am unable to provide feedback for her day service since my wedding never happened. Has it ever occurred to you, Heather, that you had not heard from me in a year because I was busy dealing with other important things like planning a funeral? My wedding was the last thing on my mind. Also, I was not complaining about the charge that never happened, I am complaining about your response to your changes. There was no need to comment on that you are more expensive and won't be charging me. We could have proceeded forward with whatever it was we were doing. You contacted ONE venue and that is because they had YOU sign a contract with them. FYI, my pre-engagement photos were scheduled with the photographer I hired for my wedding and I was still refunded the full amount. This vendor did not work for free either and still managed to prioritize customer service over money. You are a business owner and have the liberty to do as you please, but you must have needed the money more than I did, so I hope my contributions helped your business. Nonetheless, well done on your communication. If you have a family member with a life-threatening illness or you have a medical condition that may require potential hospitalization, please do not hire Heather as your wedding planner as she will not refund you the deposit because not make exceptions for your situation simply because she does not "work for free." Thank you.

We kept hearing all throughout the day and night and for a couple weeks after how amazing our DJ was. He did such an awesome job, I gave him a shout out while I (the groom) was standing at the altar thanking everyone. But, wait...there's more. Adrian was referred to me by another DJ when I was shopping around and it was about a month before the wedding. He contacted me right away and expressed enthusiasm for helping me make the wedding perfect. We talked on the phone the next morning and we clicked right away. He is super chill, laid back and one of the nicest guys you will ever meet in your life. It's like having a new friend and it feels like you've known him for decades. But, that doesn't take away at all from his sense of professionalism. This man has over 25 years of experience spinning, and it shows. He can adapt to any occasion, any style. He has an instant nose for the type of vibe you are looking for, and he will make it happen 100 percent. He knows his stuff better than anyone could, and yet he's not cocky about it. Better yet even, he was so kind, he offered us his best package for a fraction of the price. It included six hours of service, and the man ended up spending TWELVE hours with us from the moment he arrived to breaking down at the end of the night and didn't charge us an extra dime. He played tunes during cocktail dinner hour..played the songs we wanted for our entrance, first dance, cake-cutting, and then launched right into an open dance party, which was (forgive me) OFF THE HOOK. He lit up our party, transforming a backyard into a colorful disco paradise. He kept our guests dancing and having an amazing time for hours into the night. We felt so well taken care of. He sent texts every day in the couple of weeks leading up to the wedding, making sure everything was okay, that we had everything we needed, etc. He even checked in days after the event to see how we were doing. Felt like we had hired a member of the family but without any of the 'friendor' bullshit, because he is a true professional through and through. I cannot say enough about how awesome this guy is. If you are lucky enough to find him available the day of your special event and you don't take advantage of his services, you are an idiot. I am telling you now. He's the best hands down. He is my DJ for life...whenever anyone is looking for a recommendation in the SoCal area, it will always be Adrian. Bad ass DJ with a good heart, chill vibe and just all around great guy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
