They will cover your headlights if they can't be turned off. They have radios to borrow, if your stereo doesn't work. They have lots to help keep the bugs away, even screens for your windows. Toys in the play area for kids too! They have lots of great food, even a BBQ. I personally love the soft pretzel :) They give you ticket stubs with your entry and they do a raffle in intermission! So much fun! 2015, they are now digital! Up until now, they were the old reels and you were able to get a tour. They have upgraded out of necessity so I hope lots of us go and support them to keep this place alive!

Okay, this may not be quite 'as good as it gets' for a public square - but it has a lot of value to…read moreme since I live nearby, and it's one of the city's very few meaningful public spaces. It's a very well designed area, reaching the corner of Main and Queen streets - the heart of downtown Brampton, and occupies a good amount of space. Several business have direct access to it, such as: The Works, Starbucks, T By Daniel, Little Shop of Ice Cream, and there are of course many other businesses nearby. Realistically, most of its use is during the late Spring and Summertime. There's a wonderful Winter Festival which completely packs out, and a handful of other things in the fall - otherwise, this place is alive in the summer. There's a few concert series which takes place here, and other festivals. What has recently brought up the profile and crowds in the last year is the giant screen they've installed. Yeah, it took a screen to draw the crowds, but it's still a lot of fun regardless, and has a very unifying, community feel. At least twice a week during the summer, they play mostly throwback, fun movies. There's great picture quality, and the sound is far better than what you may expect. It's also been used for big sporting events, such as Blue Jays and Raptors playoff runs, and at the time of writing: the 2016 Euros. What a great way to enjoy supporting your team with others, and for no cost. It's also been a great way to help support the downtown businesses - which are mostly local and independent. More and more is happening here, and importantly: it's increasingly successful. For example: this year they started doing free workout classes, such as yoga and zumba. Not my thing personally, but they've been pretty well-attended. There's a growing sense in the city that this is a great place to be. It's a remarkable alternative and achievement for a city often known for sprawl, lack of activities and lacking culture. I hope that sense of community and supporting local would spread throughout the city, but I'm happy it's at least in one place for now.

The gentleman checking us in was friendly and courteous. I think he was also the one who started our movie, and cleaned up after when the movie was done XD There are no more staff selling tickets anymore; they are all done at the ticket kiosks right when you enter. The gentleman scanning the tickets also stands in the very front near the entrance doors. After you enter, you can then purchase your snacks and drinks, and play arcade games. This theatre seems to be in the middle of getting rid of their red old/dirty theatre seats - I guess it is finally time to change them! The washrooms were also tidy and clean.

However that can be a great thing and not so much as a con. I didn't get to experience the concession during intermission but my husband did say it was "not bad." The acoustics were good and the seats were comfortable. The knock down of the star is the difficulty and lack of parking offered near the theatre. However there was construction happening so that may change in the future. 7/10

The Regent Theatre in Oshawa is a magnificant structure, recently renovated and has not only charm but good acoustics, great air quality and seats which are comfortable, newly upholstered with a reasonable amount of leg room. So glad I discovered this place. Have decided to book tickets there again for a show in May. Took us 40 minutes to drive from Toronto to Oshawa - no hardship and worth it.

It was the first time that I have tried the recliner chairs and the chairs were leather chairs, we do love it. More comfortable individuals and more space in between each row. That's a super cool place to go. However, they don't have too many locations, less rooms and smaller room only. The beginning advertising was not too long. There is the snacking counters to sell the popcorns and drinks as same as cineplex. Now I like here more. But they don't have points or memberships to reward. That's still fair to try and love it.

This theatre has been around and the most unique aspect is its comfortable recliner seats. Be sure to reserve & sit near the front rows for the big screen experience. The theatre visitors have steadily increased since the theatre upgrades and tickets can be ordered online ahead of time, before pickup at the gates. The screen is bright and the Imagine XP cinema rooms no longer have screen glare during bright scenes. We do enjoy the convenience of coming to this theatre. The Imagine XP cinema room featured larger 4K laser projection and a booming Dolby Atmos surround sound that even gave me Apple Watch hearing warnings during prolonged immersive scenes. The leather seats were also relatively new. Skip it or hit it? The great experience in a recent matinee will encourage us to come back to this Imagine theatre more often.
